1 - 2 years is considered a long term investment in the Crypto market, so BAT will be one of the best options. Chainlink has been able to penetrate the all time high and the current price is a high price for buyers,
I do not recommend Chainlink, but I do admit that Chainlink is a good project.

if we want to observe from the very beginning the first time chainlink grows it is clear that chainlink has made a lot of people amazed by it because the increase is very sharp and many people glance at it and it makes quite an attractive investment. I am in a similar boat right now. I wouldn't suggest people who do not own chainlink to go out and buy because it looks like it is at a high price right now. However I would also suggest people who do have chainlink to not sell theirs neither. It is just not really that well and I would say it is not really that bad neither.

It will probably be a half a decent coin, don't think it is going to suddenly crash and burn, but I do not think it will continue to grow bigger than other coins neither, it will probably stay as a top 10 coin for a while, then it will become a top 20 coin, and then top 50 coin and it will continue to be top 100 for years to come without dropping. This does sound like it may go down but it would probably more about not growing while others grow faster.

Knowing this information we can have a basis of projection discarding the guesswork that by the way can harm a projection. In general, both have a daily volume of a few million and is a considerable value for appreciations. So with the development of projects and with market power why not add value in the near future?

If Defi trends last for a few years, investing in Chainlink will be good, but you must be prepared for the risks. My prediction isn't optimistic, probably $18 at most.

Chainlink started on crypto marketplace with the price of $0.17 in 2017 and it reached $20 in August 2020 . That is 100x in just 3 years which is really cool. I think we can see Chainlink at $25 by the end of 2021 but that's only my standpoint and it also comes with a huge risk as always in trading

I have chainlink, and I also have a bat. I only have a feeling that bat can increase, but I am not sure about that because I don't analyze more or search for more information. I hope that it's really growing, although that will need longer to rise. Maybe @OP can buy bat as the price is low than chainlink, but he can buy both chainlink and bat, but he needs to analyze more, and don't just follow my advice.

As long as execution lacks, there won't be anything worth to invest into and slowly but surely it will drop out of existence just like many came before it.

Chainlink isn't a bad idea imo, especially from when you suggested it. It does seem a bit over-extended at the moment (against Bitcoin price particularly) and may correct further. Personally it's my third biggest holding after Ether, but only makes up about 2% of my portfolio, while making up about 1% of the overall market cap. I did sell two thirds after price 3x against Bitcoin, but am still holding a third for the long-term, even if I still think it could corrected further down another 50% to 40K sats.

BAT however is a weird one. I personally use Brave Browser and have been collecting the rewards for a year now, so it's a very small holding, as well as one I'm not interested in selling for Bitcoin or otherwise. On a technical level, it's breaking down to lowest levels in nearly 3 years which isn't a good sign, even if fundamentally the growth of Brave and it's utility token does appear to be growing. Overall, right now, I wouldn't be investing in either. But if I wasn't diversified I'd chose BAT (oversold) over LINK (overbought).

I prefer BAT for now, because Chainlink's price which has reached an all time high this year,
made me think twice about investing in Link, but for BAT I still believe it can reach an all time high,
according to chart analysis, I found good performance from BAT, and strong support have always been strong in the past few years.

I have been investing in Link coin since October 2019, and honestly saying this coin is really good to make profits. They are one of the gems coins, you can invest in Chainlink blindly. But BAT is not good enough for investment in my personal view, it was great coin in past, but now I have better options than BAT. Do your research and choose the perfect coin for investment. I have invested little in both and already in profit for more than 200% on Link. But compared to BAT the use cases of Link is still limited.

This coin has touched its all time high for the second time after its price touch the all time low $0.12. Moreover when I see on coinmarketcap the return of investment has gave 2.724% for its investor. I think the chainlink is deserve to be choose for your portfolio and hold it for long term investment. And regarding for basic attention token (BAT) seeing the movement price in a few days ago indeed this coin price is very tempting. A few days ago this token price has increased for almost 13% and after that I can't the crashes that happened as usually happen on the coin when its price increase. You can choose both coins for your investment place.

Careful with Chainlink, although a promising project, I don't think it's current price is justified compared to use case. A lot of people will hate on me for saying this out loud, but it's been gaining pretty heavily lately, and at some point it's gonna come crashing down on you, guaranteed. There is no guarantee that it's gonna continue gaining in value like it has previously.

Blocknet, a project similar to Chainlink, yet way way more decentralized in it's structure is a better play in my opinion. Not only do they work on their own decentralized oracle network (in beta, so you can try it out on your own) but they where also the first project to launch a truly decentralized exchange: https://blockdx.com/

I don't invest to Chainlink but the questions that I'm seeing about this coin is quite in a good number. We know with Basic Attention Token, this is the reward that Brave Browser is giving to its users.

I think it's a good decision to take this coin with you and invest in it. No one can actually see the future but if you will depend on the current situation of it, this is a good altcoin to buy if you will diversify your portfolio.
