ChainLink uses its technology in blockchains and smart contracts to access data feeds, web APIs, and traditional bank account payments to mimic real-world agreements which require external proof of performance, like bank payments, DD etc. The ChainLink network utilizes the LINK token and ChainLink Node operators to retrieve data, compute it, format it and guarantee payments from off-chain data feeds.
Very recently, Binance, the world’s largest exchange has added 4 Chainlink pairs to its list of the supported coin-pair and that in itself is a huge boost for the LINK community. It has added coins like PAX, USDT, TUSD, and USDC (all Stablecoins). If you wish you can buy Chailink here at best rates.

The best part about Chainlink is that it has been very stable and even cooperates with the banking system, which is a positive scenario which can boost up its value. Even Chainlink might integrate with more real-world data institutions like Web3 Foundation, which might help in triggering smart contract messages and the Polkadot project, which is a protocol that makes it possible for the independent blockchain platforms to exchange data. With all these developments, its imperative that LINK might reach $0.9 by 2019 end.

Even though the problem seems to be resolved (for now, at least), it's really unprofessional on the company side because the company presents itself as the one "solving the connectivity problem" (https://link.smartcontract.com/), but the so-called connection with the team was impossible to establish.

I would recommend to read the ICO analysis on this company: https://hacked.com/ico-analysis-chainlink/ (just in case  Wink )

ahahahahahha newbies think that Chainlink is scam.

It's one of the best ICO in 2017.
Is it? You are also a newbie
It is one of the worst and unprofessional ICO of 2017. Good luck in promoting unethical idiots who don't even know how to run an ICO, how to whitelist, how to reserve tokens and finally how to manage people like you.

5 minutes after ICO start! Given that the address where to send did not appear within 3 minutes!
This not normal! Fuck Sergey and all your dumb team.

Also, I've received the link tokens this morning.

What was the ICO price you all were expecting to get when sending your ETH? Any idea who got in on the presale and at what prices?

presale: 3120/1 ETH
ICO: 2600/1 ETH

The tokens have been distributed, everything is moving according to plan. The only thing I don't like is the lack of moderation in their slack, but that's only a minor issue a part from all the fudders and trolls.
Edit: Refunds will only take 3 days so stop complaining. You knew the risk and if you didn't then you didn't do your research right.

I did not get in for just 10 blocks or so, anyway waiting for the refund as the lack of proper communication concerns me a bit, that eth could be well spent in other projects.

It appears that the tokens have been distributed already.
Last block where people got tokens : block 4291478 @ Sep-19-2017 03:06:28 PM

Considering the adress i could send Eth to was only revealed around 03:07, I had already no chance to enter the ICO :x

Sergey is doing damage control on reddit:
https://www.reddit.com/user/sergeynazarov

Good new is that it sounds like we'll find out if we get our tokens in less than a day, and if we don't, our eth will be returned to us in a day or 2 instead of weeks.

Its Chaos on Chainlink slack. people dont even know whether their contribution has been included in the crowdsale or not. On the top of that they said it will be weeks before the ETH is refunded.

They are getting frustrated because of the uncertainty.

It was confirmed on Reddit by someone involved in ChainLink that they had presold 29 Million and only 4 Million was available for the ICO.

I think this is a great product but the launch of the ICO was incredibly amateurish and leaves a lot to be desired. It's so incredibly disappointing that these guys didn't have the finger on the pulse but I can't say I'm surprised. I do wish I would have been proven wrong.

Very unethical, perhaps a scam:

1. ICO using dumb wallets, no smart contract.
Yes, there was a limit of 7 ETH, so you wouldn't think scam. But you could use infinite email addresses (no real passport photo KYC)
2. No word from them for over 3 hours already after end of ICO about refund for late contributions after the limit
3. $3M was really raised it seems, not $32 ($29 was already raised in presale, it seemed, when sale began)
4. That Jack Bruckman guy did the same thing with Decentraland.
8. No telegram/slack listed on their site
5. I got deactivated from the slack, and now have no where to turn to for answers, or even a live community to consult.
6. Wallet addresses got exposed 14 hours earlier cuz of a bug - incompetence?
7. No white-paper on their site

They recently published their the white paper. It's actually very dense. I don't think they are a scam. Just wait the next 24 hours and you'll find out more information.

Good luck guys, it was big pump and dump. Wouldn't call it scam, people are just dumb and investing into something they have no idea about. Investing into project hyped by payed-off youtubers. So wisely xD

Its quite apparent that the teams strong side is not communication but from that to a scam I Think is a long way. Atleast I hope because I put som eth on it.

The ICO process certainly could be better, if sold out in minutes perhaps they could lower the individual cap, otherwise, what's the point of the 7 ETH cap? Just a waste of gas. Still no sign from the slack channel about who is in or out and how to refund. The idea is solid, and team looks promising but the ICO process may be not one of the best.

there is a lot of fud from people who did not succeed to buy tokens so we all should calm down and wait, tokens should be sent in 24h. Other than that lack of communication is very unprofessional...

It's been 3 hours, I'm sure besides having a few drinks they are trying to make good on getting the tokens out within the 24 hours they promised.

I think everyone in Crypto needs to calm down, they'll likely tweet in an hour.

I'm not a member of their slack channel so if anyone can fill me in it would be great.

I am hearing chatter of it being a scam - what is everyone's opinion?  If it is, it sold out within ten minutes and they closed the sale - why would they do that if it was scam?

I sent 7eth but now cant even login to their site and there isnt an option to recover password.
