I really understand how you are feeling and how frustrating this country is to us as her citizens we have cried alot but seems like our cry are no longer heard because we have stupidly elected useless and irrelevant candidate into power and now we are facing the hit and tough time. Normally any person wey put hope for government is like looking himself or themselves oppositely direct to the mirror looking at you as it gives full clear representation to you.

That is to say it gives you a clear version of you but partially it's fake because in every slight thing that touches the mirror it damage instantly while the person is still there, that is the government we are having today. That is why a self development is really called for to engage yourself with and dependantly depending or your dexterity instead of the federal or states authority. I find nothing pleasant in our country anymore as we have also sold ourselves our future to useless politicians.

It baffles me when I see how Nigerians are suffering everyday, when our leaders are at the higher positions stealing money "richest Governments and poorest people" lack of employment in the society. In Nigeria where you see a young boy/girl of 17 or 18 having depression of not affording his needs, youths are in pains wey SOSO no fit take away. Even salary earners cannot leave comfortable because of the inflation: increase in price of foods, fuel subsidy. I thank God for online platforms that creates jobs for our youths

Yes, nah true talk you talk, for this country Nigeria as of now, if you no do any meaningful thing way go give you money (way go provide food for your table), nai be say your own name nah sorry.
Like now, nah if you enter tiktok you go see alot of things like fashion, comedy skit, content creators and lot more, some kind of comedy's you go see for tiktok you fit call am nonsense things but to our surprise that person, if im talk how much im they earn we fit open our mouth they look am but that one no mean, way thing they mean be say make we the citizen try they do something for our self,

That TikTok now don become another area wey guys dey focus to throw in their small small videos oo. Youths for Naija don run enter content creation and they are making big money from it. This present government go still put eyes for that business one day unto tax level because of how them dey find money wey dem go pack go corner.

like if we been get only one business way they bring money for us, now way the country done hard make we self hustle harder so that we no go stay poor.
E get one popular saying say, NO SLEEPING ON BICYCLE I believe say some of us already know the meaning.

If you go sleep on top car wey dey move, na fall you go fall na, so even if you dey in top the car as e dey move, you suppose shine your eyes to dey watch as the car dey navigate whether you go dive enter another car. Na survival of the fittest for Nigeria.

We no need to dey for one business area and expect say we go grow in this harsh economy with high inflation. If you withdraw 10k now, the way the thing go finish, you know go believe.

It was during the days of our parents that Nigeria do provide job for her citizen because the country hasn't been eaten up by corruption. These current time na you go find job for Naija o, or else you go leave in abject poverty. Na all these internet skill work na them sure pass as people wey don dey expose to the internet, because na there money dey to fit use meet up with the high rate of inflation wey det our country. Government don fail for there side to take care of their citizens in so many aspects, like job creation provision of unlimited power supply, we for fit help small scale business to grow. This na because of the self-centered people wey our leaders them be, them only care about themselves and their family. But government no know say them dey open our eye the more so that we go look for an alternative to the earn our daily bread, which be the online job. I believe say time dey come wey youths go understand say depending on government na waste of time.

My people dey say nah woman wey never see problem before nai dey hold breast dey run. As e be for naija, gone are doz days wen youths sopoz dey wait for person to bread them or give them fish, and personally I see such as lazy youths. According to our presido, him say naija no sopoz experience poverty, say we dey hardworking and with the use of our phones, we fit make moni.
E dey shocking say some people wey no be influencers dey content to spend their day and data on watching videos instead of converting that time into something useful.
Our Govt, no mata say them get responsibility to provide jobs for the youths, get their limit and e rest on us to find out ways.
Opportunities dey everywhere but some youths dey find the one wey be white collar job because for their minds, their school years no go go in vain. This no be bad tin but with the way naija don cast and corruption hold us like safety pin, if we continue to get that mentality, Omo nah sapa go be best friend o.

I like the fact sae our Nigerian youths are waking up from their sleep and have the belief in them, that they shouldn't be waiting on the government to provide everything for them likewise employment. They now dey take am upon themselves to find other means of survival by engaging themselves in online jobs and skills that has been helping majority of them to provide for themselves and their families since the government of the day can't provide job opportunities give all the youths so.

This youth have fully taken advantage on the benefits of the internet and provide job opportunities for themselves. You must be wondering what kind of jobs are they ?
The advantage no be small one since the youths don d find out sae there are so much money available on the internet. They are into different online jobs, learning and creating wealth for themselves.

These are the Tech skills wey our youths are learning and finding perfection in. I take it as everything don made available for the youths so, for internet. It is now left for each of them to create employment for themselves and not to depend on the government for that since the government no fit begin to d provide employments for everyone considering the population of her youths.

As the matter already d so, everyone don d pursue their dreams and engaging in whatever that will favor in cos the level no pure for the country again. No learn anything, or create business for yourself, na you go suffer am at the end cos nobody d ready to feed and clothe em fellow being.

In fact, whether you work or not. Having multiple streams of income is the best thing that can ever happen to a man. For me, the standard is at least four streams of income. Like stated in the Bible, there are four rivers of paradise that flows from the garden of eden, so shall man never lack from four streams of income.
There is a local saying that never put all your eggs in one basket because if you do when the basket falls all the eggs you have been saving for years will be broken as such sending you back to square one, there is also another saying that when you are trying to reach out a basket on the rooftop using a ladder that you shouldn't use the two hands to get it instead use only one hand so that the other hand will stand as a suspension were as it keeps you balance when you miss your steps. So in summary having a diverse source of income is important because it seems a bit more fulfilling when you have different businesses generating income either on weekly or monthly basis as such if one failed another will sustain you.

Sometimes I feel the hardship some Nigerians are facing makes them know their true potential as a person. If someone is always in their comfort zone, they don’t explore to see more skills they can be able to render themselves with. Although, this till comes with the availability of resources to carry this out. Life in general is very hard but only the truly committed and dedicated one always find a way out.

The most scary part of staying in your comfort zone is that it makes you overly stagnant in growth and learning new things. It is the worst part of a person particularly when you are in a young age. Comfort zone attracts many bad habits including procrastination and mental loneliness. The brain has been designed to accommodate active events to stay charged and active. I've experienced all of these in the past and all I can say is that we should fight our comfort zones, either by exiting or by engaging in other self-development skills and courses. Like it is said that in every sickness, there's a medicine.  Alongside the effects, I was able to learn self-development courses and skills that are helpful today.

Having one source of income in Nigeria is not advisable. Even the civil servants and politicians don’t just depend on their basic salary, most of them have other businesses and establishments that is earning them more money. Civil servants will be retired after 35 years in service, politicians will also leave their positions after their tenure has ended. Without a continuous good source of income, I think this people will either return back to the way they were before getting this jobs or their source of income will reduce drastically to some unbearable minimum amount. Having more than one source of income is the best and all Nigerians are now keying into that already.
And making the better use of the comfort zone is even better. Because for Naija, I doubt if them get single person wey never enter comfort zone before, but like we dey talk, side hustle really dey important for life. In fact, whether you work or not. Having multiple streams of income is the best thing that can ever happen to a man. For me, the standard is at least four streams of income. Africa a faded continent.
Them tell us say we dey practice Democracy supposed to be a governing system where a government is of the people, by the people and for the people but has been compromised (rebellion system).

Them dey talk since say the youths are the leaders of tomorrow but yet no youth don even lead (dubiousness).

Them say education is the key to success, a lot don graduate and no success achieved by their educations (liers).
When I remembers what a true democracy is and what is practices in Africa, I feel shame and exploding.

Well said boss man @ OP CryptopreneurBrainboss. Inclusion controversies at some youths who are not diligent enough to be creative and productively impacted to take lead of the internet advantages due to the less concerned of the political governance system across the masses has brought about diverse mayhems to advancement across the African nations.

Especially Nigeria where the youths has indulged their selves in criminality acts such as compromising the positive usage of the internet for fraudulence on diversities (scamming/yahoo-yahoo) activities all to create means of survival and also the illegal usage of arms for robberies and other nuisances all on the same goal to keep its life going since the government is of no concern.

Though I totally disapproves these acts of the youths illegal indulgences and appreciated the efforts where the youths positively took advantage on the internet as scripted by the OP.

To an extend, many no longer aim to meet up a better life with their initial broad dreams but to a maximum aiming to keep a "just life" living and  these are areas where carrers dies due to what I would like to call infertility encouragement.

This shows how terrible the whole situation has become, Knowing fully well that so many Nigerians, including some of us reading this post would love to leave this country with any given opportunity.(japa).

Though, I won't blame the Italian government for taking such action, they should also be able to reduce over population unlike the one that has affected Nigeria and other Africa countries.

In the case of Nigeria in respect to over population, I don’t think we are over populated as a country. We just lack the availability of job creation to fix these people. I believe the literacy rate in Nigeria have now increased over the years, thanks to invention of new technologies yearly.

Nigerians running away to other countries for a greener pasture is because there’s no availability of such for them by the government in the country. They go to where they can employ their skill and earn a living instead of depending on the government for their daily needs. Japa won’t be an option for you, if you’re well employed and earn a good salary for your comfort in the country.

Even with the current hardship, something still surprises me among some Nigerians, most especially the youths that has made the right decision for themselves. The evolution of technology has become their source of income, as they've capitalized fully on the potentials of the internet. The youths can no longer sit and wait for the government, because they no longer care about our future. All they care about is their political title and themselves. with this, I will say that the government is being selfish. These whole issue has made the youth to utilize the power of the internet and are making the best out of it.

If you are living in Nigeria, and you know for sure that a job isn't secured for you, it is advisable that you get one of this digital skills or else, hunger fit destroy your life. even at getting a job, you can still minize time and also engage in some of these web3 jobs because they will actually act as a means of earning extra. we shouldn't forget that you are not supposed to have 1 source of income in a country like Nigeria where everything is on a hike. let's all endeavour to participate in these job opportunities. we should Make a wise decision now and secure our future.

This youth have fully taken advantage on the benefits of the internet and provide job opportunities for themselves. You must be wondering what kind of jobs are they ?, They are...

Excuse no dey again oh, if you still dey seat down dey wait for the government to give you job, you just dey mumu yourself because while you dey lazy, others dey hustle their way from poverty. Internet get many job opportunities na you go need choose which one wey you go do and e make sense to not depend on only one way but to get multiple skills because we no know how tomorrow go be so e no go make sense to think say wetin dey today go still dey like dat tomorrow. As you dey learn coding no just stop for only the normal coding but also shuku hand for blockchain programming because this wan go increase ur advantage and e go make you dey hirable. If you no see work for normal coding, blockchain go enter your side. For this same internet, you fit do e-commerce, web development, App development etc. Anything wey you for do for manual work, an online version dey so make you put head for ground and do research and empower yourself with skills and the job go come. You fit still do influencing job as na the recent thread now and major block dey there.

If you are living in Nigeria, and you know for sure that a job isn't secured for you, it is advisable that you get one of this digital skills or else, hunger fit destroy your life. even at getting a job, you can still minize time and also engage in some of these web3 jobs.

E no matter if you get secured job or not getting this skills no go do you any harm so e make sense say you get am so you go dey very versatile. You fit dey dey your manual work and dey combined am with this online jobs too. You fit just get the skills and turn to teacher wey be say you go dey collect fees to dey teach the skills to the younger generation wey dey come for back. You no even need to get office as you fit dey run am from the comfort of ur house online. People dey wey dey do am like all this TikTok influencers wey dey teach people many things on TikTok. You go also dey get endorsement deals from this thing wey you go just dey your house dey run and also dey get other free things. The bad governance in Nigeria dun turn blessings in disguise because e dun make us to seat up and hustle instead of relaxing and waiting on the government to do everything for us.

The Internet has made everything easy for us now, because if we take a look at graduates in the labor market, we will understand how important this forum and other Web 3 jobs out there are to providing opportunities for Nigerians. If all of us depend on the government and fail to go to the internet and look for something to do, then by now, what to eat will be very hard for the common man because our leaders are selfish and are not ready to help us.
The impacts of internet in all the West African countries is beyond Mesureable most especially our country Nigeria that is being govern by selfish leaders who only cares about what they will benefit without making a provision to empower youth, thousands and millions of people graduating every year but no job and now with the help of internet opportunities in diverse section are available online people were able to acquire different skills and working from home with the help of internet, so actually I must say web3 has really make a great impact on Nigerians youth by showing us the way to navigate to so many things in other to earn a living by creating avenue for people to market and showcase there individual talents.

Anyway, no body way this country economy (hardship) no affect, even the people way get money (the rich people) self done they follow those way no get money (the poor people) they suffer, but the only advantage be say as the rich people get money e no they too affect them like the poor.
This country no they friendly to anybody way no get plans for em life, no matter say e get people way done hustle hustle but still nothing to write home about and some of them done quit to hustle.
For this country so, nah only children way their mama still they feed na no they reason how life go be tomorrow but as long as say person done reach the age of 16 or 17 that person go start to they think of how e go better for ram tomorrow and na because of this hard economy nai make some youths start to they do internet frud (them, them self's they call am GRINDING).
Nawadays, as a Nigerian way we be make we no take every opportunities as nothing.

There are opportunities in Nigeria, but the setback to some people is getting the information itself, not everyone has the information, just imagine what life would have been for many Nigerian youths without the Bitcoin Talk forum, this might sound strange but that's the truth, this forum has impacted in many peoples life by educating them more about Bitcoin and cryptocurrency in general but we can not dispute the monetary benefit attached as a result of individual contribution to this forum,
the threads created here, has been helpful to many of us, that go through them, these threads has help me to be careful the way I do things in real life.

The major obstacle for youths and advanced youths out there is the connection from the right people and the internet service itself is also a problem, we should know that it is not everyone that's residing or can afford the rent in the urban area, so how will this set of persons cope, though our government has failed us, we too as individuals having this helpful piece of information should not hold it from our friends, brothers, sisters in other to keep the ground running, Nigeria will be great again if we the youths can do our part.

This content explained almost every issue that most of our youths face in this country; I no longer rely on the government in this country because the small amount of money I made two weeks ago through a signature campaign convinced me that waiting for the government to provide us with jobs is a waste of time; it is better we wake up and do something better for ourselves and our families.

The Internet has made everything easy for us now, because if we take a look at graduates in the labor market, we will understand how important this forum and other Web 3 jobs out there are to providing opportunities for Nigerians.  The issue of poverty that has surrounded West Africa is no longer a news, as the government of these countries has failed their people. Most especially in Nigeria, where inflation matters keep getting worse years after years. The idea of fighting poverty and hunger is no longer the responsibility of the Nigeria government, as citizens have given up on them a long time ago.

Was it always like this ?, I would say no because as far as I can remember, the government that left power in 2015 didn't leave such mess, although times were tough as always. but the government before that was even far better than the one that left in 2015. Without being told, I know that this situation is getting worse and as time goes on, we might as well see even more hardship in Nigeria.

About two days ago, I sat down to watch TV and coincidentally, I turned to ad jazeera where news of illegal immigrants was being broadcasted. It saddens me when I heard that over 118K illegal immigrants from Africa has entered Italy since January this year till this moment.
The most frustrating part was that the Italian government has declared that they can no longer accommodate illegal immigrants in their country.

https://www.aljazeera.com/amp/program/inside-story/2023/9/14/has-italys-approach-to-migration-failed

This shows how terrible the whole situation has become, Knowing fully well that so many Nigerians, including some of us reading this post would love to leave this country with any given opportunity.(japa).

These whole issue has made the youth to utilize the power of the internet and are making the best out of it.

The internet which is basically categories into three webs which are web 1.0, 2.0 and the recent 3.0 have being able to provide few Nigerians with the financial freedom they need. Web 3.0 which is a complete package of Blockchain technology, Artificial intelligence, Cryptocurrency, etc is beginning to take shape in our world today.

This youth have fully taken advantage on the benefits of the internet and provide job opportunities for themselves. You must be wondering what kind of jobs are they ?, They are...

  • Cryptocurrency (Trading)
  • Forex Trading
  • Content Creation (blogging, video,etc)
  • Animations
  • Programming

From the list above, we literally don't need any physical tutor to learn any of these, because YouTube is the current best tutor around the world. these skills can generate an average Nigeria youth at least something to help take care of his daily needs. We no longer need to wait for the government for a job, because there isn't any. I remembered sometimes ago, on tv where the government were making fund of the poor. This doesn't sounds well right because the government of a country is supposed to provide for it's people no matter what and eradicate poverty. instead they sit up there and laugh at us.
