It's prolly your "nicehash firewall" or whatever crap you put in. Put your crappy S5 back to factory and then see if it works, if it doesn't your S5 is hosed. As someone pointed out previously, S5 has string design, it means bitmain cut corners every which way possible to make yours and everyone else's S5 as CHEAP as possible. It's not meant to last 2+ years. If you're still running S5's currently, please do yourself a favor and turn them OFF ASAP, it's a fire hazard at this point.

The "software" voltage configuration on the S5 never actually worked - it's a string design with NO ability to configure the voltage.

You have some other issue if the miner isn't working, NOT an issue with the voltage setting.

Hello everybody, I upgraded my s5 with the nicehash firewall for more performance, all well, but when i did reboot and this changed the voltage at 0,7xxx (i dont remember the last numbers). Now the miner dont work. The miner start but never get connection and i cant check on the dhcp web or nicehash web. suggestion?
