If you find yourself in a confused state as a result of you not knowing the next step to type the best thing is to take the risk so long as you want to begin a new thing or move to a new environment you just have to take the bold decision otherwise you will not experience a new beginning. When it comes your circle of friends it takes someone with good courage to be able to move away from friends there are not being helpful to you financially and otherwise but for someone who is determined to excel and make good progress in life moving away from friends that are not helping you to grow should be your best decision.

If you are not very familiar with your environment, start observing and see where you think you can fit in. Besides, you don't need to worry about fitting in, as long as you will financially survive, I think, that's more important over being worried if people will like you or not. Take care of your family first, their needs and all and all the other things will be secondary.

I think it is not so easy to give up associations and patterns of thinking that are laid down in the family at an early age. Also, much of the thinking is laid down in the information that people find in adolescence, such as studies, music, films and opinions of important people. And of course, the opinion of friends, the environment in which the individual comes from high school, greatly influences. For example, if someone studies in a class with excellent students, then he himself will open up among them. I know many such examples from life.

When you start making money and the people around you-- whether friends, close ones, or loved ones-- aren't, it creates a serious disconnect. Truthfully, the association you keep matters a lot. This is why you have to be very intentional about your company and make sure to keep individuals whom you do not only discuss irrelevant issues with but have time for relevant discussions that have the ability and potential to better your lives.

When you meet people who are smarter than you and more intelligent in the sector than you are, be wise enough to understand that it is an opportunity for you to learn and you should not be in competition with them. In regards to making progress in life, you have to be willing to be a student when you need to be a student and be a warrior that takes action when you need to be a warrior.

This quote is worth trying because there is no side effects associated with this saying. Be in company of good people and read goods will give you no harm for sure.

If you sit in company of people who have nothing worthy discuss then there is very rear chance that one can grow in life. According to Socrates, "Strong minds discuss ideas, average minds discuss events, weak minds discuss people". To make progress it's necessary to sit in company of people that discuss ideas and about there implementation details. The idea can be about starting a new business or some innovative project or it can be anything worthy. There is nothing to gain if we have a company where we keep gossiping about different people. Life is short, to make full use of it we have to first develop an environment where we have people that keep discussing about how to move forward in life.

It is very true that the association you keep have impact into your life, there are lots of persons in our society that have secured good job opportunities basically because of the people they've associated themselves with, so most times the jobs and other opportunities through recommendations, that's the power of association. Even the Holy Bible recorded somewhere in Mathew when jesus said, " if the blind leads another blind, both of them will fall into a ditch" and that's what association can do. If as a human being there is something your lacking, it better you associate yourself with those who have what your lacking, it can be idea, it can be finances, it can be in terms of academics etc.

People around you can bring you down, so it is important to choose which relationships in your life you give more importance to. Family should be given first priority and the second will be friends who have helped you selflessly.

These people will support you in times of your need and help you grow. However the process is bi-directional so dont expect to get help and never offer it yourself.

Economic growth happens when these supports are good, eventually the person can get educated, land up a decent job and they can start investing and improving their quality of life.

Surround yourself with positive people, and you’ll naturally become positive too as it’s contagious.

In my youth, I didn’t believe in this. I believed I was strong enough to remain who I was in the presence of people who were a bad influence on me.
