I know this post is very old but I would like to share my experience with changelly
yes, for me they do have hidden fees and it does not worth for sure
what I mean with hidden fees is the following

when you start a trade, you have to select the tokens and you will get an approximate estimate of the number of coins you will receive
the problem is that that estimate does not include fees
and to make things worst, they hide the fees behind a button, you need to click a dropdown to see it

I did not realize that "hidden" dropdown and I was only able to realize that it exists after I spoke with their support team
they couldn't care less, and after the session was escalated to another support member they both keep replying like a robot

"Please be sure to look into our FAQ section before proceeding to the exchanges
https://changelly.com/faq"

those bulshit pre made sentences

I lost 25% of the tokens I was buying in the dam trade, if it was transparent, and if I did not had to click an additional button, this wouldn't have happened, that is why I am saying, this for me it's hidden fees

I went ahead and did a similar trade with changenow, what an awesome experience, everything was there in the screen and what I got was what it was showing, very transparent and good customer experience

this was my experience...hope it helps other users, but for now I would suggest for you to keep away from changelly

ive been using changelly.com whenever i want to exchange my etherium to bitcoin and i can say that it was a superb exchange with low fees and fast transactions.

Not a fan of Changelly, having used it in the past, I've found their rates to be quite bad, a lot lower than if I exchange it myself. I don't remember much about what the exact rates were, but it was big enough to make a difference, so I stopped using it. But the benefit of those kinds of exchanges is the supposed ease, that you don't need to sign up for accounts. That's a small convenience for me though, I'd rather save on fees.

Oh and yes, there are no hidden fees as I recall, they just have a bad exchange rate.

changelly.com has the lowest and fair exchange rate among others. have you tried to search on google about low transaction fee exchange site?  for sure changelly.com will always appear first and will recomend the most.

however i think their fees now has also been change due to the recent price hike of bitcoin and altcoins but i guess that pretty normal and always hapened all the time not only on changelly but also on some other online exchange site.

I have mixed experiences using changelly on coinomi. The first aspect, you should know, is, that on each trade transfer fees must be paid on exchangers like shapeshift or changelly. Therefore you have your funds after exchange and transfer in your wallet.
But the problem with changelly on coinomi is, that exchange rates are calculated after the transfer. They show an exchange rate before confirmation of exchange, but the amount, you get is different from shown amount. That can be problematic, if transfer takes several hours.

Some says there is, the rest have a good experience. What I suggest, if you find quadrigacx good to use and without issues, it would be better to continue using it. These past few days there are several withdrawal issues in changelly too (pending for how many days, coins not received, refund).

There are reviews here: https://www.google.com/amp/s/phaniinvestors.wordpress.com/2017/08/29/changelly-exchange-review/amp/

Been using quadrigacx for quite a while. Fees seem the same (0.5%). Unless there are "hidden" ones.
