Op those are wonderful observation and truly a lot has changed on this our local board because months back most people were not too interested based on all kinds of topics they were creating here but now those things are being regulated but however I think you should have referred this discussion to those thread that has the similar discussion because bringing it here again is like rigmarolling about the same talk all over again.

However I'm happy that we have a good moderator and also the off topic section because now we can distinguish between off topics and major topics and looking at the posting method of the local board now you can see that it has improved a lot and with this people will not just woke up one morning and decided to create any topic without thinking properly.

In my opinion your observation could have just been added to your first thread where you talked about snr experience members posting in the local board how supportive and improving it could be for newbies.

What you have just posted now as a new thread to me is just an observation of the results you're seeing regarding your previous thread and everything to me seems similar. So you could have just edited your first thread and add this there than creating something which is somewhat similar and a close repetition of your first thread.

Let say your first thread was a recommendation, now it would have made a much sense of it if you have edited and added your observation below.

It's not something new anymore after approval of our childboard and people are posting. Usually now that we can post to right sections it enable us to channel the post to the right section like now that we now have politics & society, and offtopic section it would allow you post.

For about those old members you are seeing, well as you said easier, this where people who sees that the local board is being override by spammer and shitposter so they decided to leave since no mod or admin but currently now it's a good thing seeing that all shitpost and spammer can be easily wipe away and this place is now a place where someone be rest assured of discipline and control.

I don't know if this observation is too small to create a thread on but I have noticed that since we now have a new moderator and sub boards, most of our snr men are gradually returning back to the local board and the quality of the thread and replies in the board have improved to a large extent.

I had earlier made a suggestion on this thread https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/--5484860  that part of what's needed to clean the board off spam and low quality post is when we have a combination of experienced local board members and new members who are actively involved in the Nija local board discussion and that when new comers visits the local board, it's going to be easy for them to model there kind of threads with what's already existing on the local board rather than allowing only newbies and full members that aren't all that experienced to depend on themselves for information.

Seing alot of snr members, legendary members and hero members on the board that we never knew where affiliated to Nija is a serious motivation to all of us that are coming from behind that we have people that have gone far in the forum and i just hope we all can work together to building this our local board as one of the most active board in the forum that has high quality threads and interactions on the forum.
