He can't delete the PM to the sent person, and that's why it's encouraged you send one to default trust, and the forum does let you know when a post was last edited. Theymos can also see edits and deleted posts.

Recovery is not working that way. You should put your address either in one of your posts or a pm.

Yes, but if the account is hacked, then the hacker also has control of PM to delete them. He'll also have access to editing posts, and this forum doesn't put a disclaimer (other forums do) that the post has been edited at a certain time. A smart hacker will also skim post history to delete or edit any publicly posted addresses.

You can make it blank once again if you wish, or have it sent to Primedice itself and then cash it out.

If that's the case, then how is recovering an account with signed addresses any effective? If an account is hacked, then the hacker can just change the profile address to one of his own. You can never recover it after this.

It's unfortunately not if you only have one there. You're meant to link to one in a post or message somewhere to be safe. I think the addresses we use in our profiles should be logged though for this exact reason.

I've never had a btc address in my profile since 2011 and prefer to keep it that way. However PD sig campaign requires an address in profile for payout. If I put in a temporary address, will I be able to change it later?

I'm crunching for a vanity address that I'd like to put as my permanent forum address, however I won't find it any time soon. Just need to put in a temporary one for now.
