Can I enter the first four letters only ? 😁
AFAIK you start typing and it shows suggestions to autocomplete the word. So it doesn't take that long.

E.g: if you type 'gi', it will show every word starting with 'gi' (girlfriend, ginger, giraffe)

Why don't you take a look yourself?

My bad, you can scan an address, not a seed

I'll check on my desktop, maybe it does show a QR seed.
It doesn't.

But it doesn't matter. Electrum for android doesn't let you scan a QR code to import a wallet seed. You will need to enter the seed manually anyways.

I don't find the QR code option to show my seed phrase QR code on my mobile electrum I think they only had the QR code for receiving bitcoin address.

Anyway, if you can't find your seed phrase you can be still export the private key by going to addresses, then touch the address with funds then details after that touch the export private key.

Now, you can import it in any bitcoin wallet like electrum desktop or import it to your new phone with electrum.

I had to change phones a couple of months ago, and I just used the seed phrase on the new phone--I think that's the easiest way to get your bitcoin onto Electrum.  But I think Electrum can easily read a QR code.  The app has always been really buggy for me, and that's probably just the way it is.  Sometimes it wouldn't launch the QR reader, sometimes it wouldn't paste an address properly.  Hopefully you wrote down the seed...?

Display what? Your wallet seed in the QR code format?

Can't you just type the seed manually? I don't think you can import/export it via QR code.

I'm transferring my wallet from a Nexus 5 to a Mi Mix 2S. The latter can read a QR code containing the seed but I couldn't find a way to display it on the Nexus 5 Huh
