Wow, that is another great piece of exposure!  The more people that can be reached that are outside of our little niche community, the better!

Was pleasantly surprised to see BTC painted in a flattering fashion rather than follow the media depiction up until recent. This is wonderful news for the Bitcoin community, hope to see some more coverage in the future.

Bitcoin
My wife and I were astonished when they "teased" a piece about a digital currency, namely Bitcoin.

The piece focused on a local doctor who accepts BitCoin, and they showed screen shots of Mt. Gox and the Bitcoin store.  They had some footage of a bar in New York that accepts Bitcoin, and then the reported showed a graphic of the price of Bitcoin, stressing the extreme volatility.

They then cut away to an "expert" who explained that if everyone lost confidence, it could suddenly have no value.  The doctor countered that it could go either way: if it becomes widely accepted, it could be worth much more.

They ended with some creepy video of someone's hand using a mouse, with all kinds of like digital "Matrix" (green characters) running over the screen, as the reported stressed the underworld aspects: untraceable and a way to avoid the IRS.

Anyways, it was surprising.  It wasn't a hit piece at all and it makes me think BTC is getting a little more mainstream, if only a little.

someone needs to get a recording of it cool!
