clocks are done - I still have to drill the center hole for the black one but other than that, they are done. Winners will need to apply clock hands - I dont want to do so and they get bent in shipping. If there are any questions on how to do so, I can help.

I love seeing all these replies and others as passionate about helping out as I am and very happy to see that others are realizing how much of an issue mental health truly can be.  Not too long ago if you said you had mental health issues you were considered to be being a baby or whatever.  Same thing with homelessness..for ages homeless people were considered "lazy".  It's great these stigmas are being broken down and again I am thrilled to see so many others caring!

Wow thank you guys! I will keep everyone posted. Would like to hear a few more ideas.  I think I'm leaning on running an auction for a couple different causes. Again, cheers!

Mental Health is a big problem and one which is very much coming to the fore lately.
Anyone familiar with the Tennis player Naomi Osaka recently brought it to the public's
attention that she suffered from mental illness. Anyone can suffer from it, anyone
can become affected by it so I think this is a very good cause.

Homelessness is indeed linked to mental illness and is very sad situation. There is
another charity which hands out food to homless people from the proceeds of Crypto

Crypto for the homeless - 7/9/21 - handed out a ton of pizza - need some help

Anyway, yes I wuld be in a position to donate something for the cause and will potentially
be bidding on other items.

I will have a look and see what I can donate . . .

Have the winner of item/s decide on charity to donate to from a list you set up beforehand? Would be cool Smiley

Make Bitcointalk NFT project. Easy million for Charity Tongue

100% of every dollar donated for research is invested in our research grants. Our operating expenses are covered by separate foundation grants.
https://www.bbrfoundation.org/get-involved/donate-cryptocurrency

so you could send the Bitcoin amount to the donation address right after the auction ends Smiley
i am already curious what you will offer us at the auction then Smiley

I have a few things that might interest people that I plan on adding to the charity auction, but I hope that others will consider adding items as well.  Most of us in here are very fortune in life, so giving back, and least for me is very important.  I was hoping by asking others if they have any causes they like that it would spark a little more action with the auction.  One idea I'm having is maybe I run a charity auction and the proceeds get split up between a couple different causes.

I'll donate some items that may be of interest as well for a good mental health or children's cause. Plus, I'll bid on one of Mopar's dope clocks. Please PM when the time comes. Great idea~ sweeteye

I wanted to ask others here if there are any projects out there that you are passionate about that you would like to see supported? One issue that I would like to support is mental health/homelessness.
There's a project that's been around for a couple of years that in a way, it looks like a perfect match: Using crypto to help the homeless - (for real - with pics!)
- Apart from the donation part, other users can act as volunteers.

If I recall - in the back of Elias's last book - there was a list of charities that either accepted or gave out btc - though some are no longer active ie Bruno's.

Hey guys, as some of you may know I try to run a charity auction once a year or so.  I have ran a couple in the past here ( https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.33830334 - https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.53820951 ) and it's been a little while since I've run one, so I felt it's time to run another one soon.

With that said, I wanted to ask others here if there are any projects out there that you are passionate about that you would like to see supported? One issue that I would like to support is mental health/homelessness.  A lot of people seem to not understand that many homeless people are homeless due to mental health issues.  These are people who could be bi-polar, schizophrenic etc.  Many of these people simply are unable to help themselves, and need all the help they can get.  This is just one idea I had, but would like to hear yours ( or maybe this is something you are passionate about as well )

I will provide as much as I can for the auction, but certainly happy to accept any donations to help the cause we choose.  Thanks Smiley
