I found out yesterday that the little koala in my OP that the woman rescued has since passed.  He didn't even look all that bad.  Just goes to show how dire this situation really is. Lots of work left to do there.  Couple days left.

Australia is going through some trying times at the moment with wildfires raging on countrywide. In particular there are countless animals that have died as a result and countless others that are currently in harms way.. I wanted to help so I decided to hold this charity auction that many others have also donated to ( I can't thank you all enough ). With so many donating, this will be the first of two auctions.

I have chosen the wildlife rescue group WIRES, which I have vetted to make sure it's a legitimate charitable foundation. Below is a snippet of a quote from their homepage..   ( https://www.wires.org.au/ )
