Hello everyone,

I am a avid user of a crypto platform called Crowdholding. They are a micro task platform where you earn crypto for giving feedback, taking part in bounties and numerous other tasks. Recently they have been helping a charity by crowdsourcing ideas. What do you think about that? Are there any other platforms like this? Below is the task they put up recently, where you give feedback and earn their token for giving advice to a charity.

https://www.crowdholding.com/project/340/task/909/advise-us-the-ways-for-charity-fundraising

Crowdholding has over 37,000 signups and 100+ projects, I think they are a sleeping giant and they have continued to grow quietly even through the rough market. I would recommend them to anyone who is looking for a way to earn crypto.

Looks very interesting, I like that they show what the development team has been working on month by month. It looks a very interesting project. Also hitting over 100 projects on any platform crypto or not is impressive.

I've signed up and the platform looks great, I've taken part in some Brave tasks which i will get some BAT and YUP tokens! I think this is one of the actual cryptos with a decent working product, they just need to work on their token price / volume.

Thanks for the share.

I want to know, is the platform still functional as when it was newly launched? I want to give it a try but all these platforms, how do they make their own money apart from traffic on the site. I have always tried to figure out.

Yes they had a project working before their ICO, i have been using their platform for a long time now and seen the platform grow in users, startups and features.

I'm guessing that they make money from the startups joining the platform, there are no ads on the platform and they don't have an ad model.

Indeed there can work togheter and people can donate via crypto, i already see some old users who open topic and who want can donate via crypto and they buy with crypto and donate what children needs. But you need new investors for your project to make the price goes up.

I don't see the real purpose behind the charity crypto project really, what I can see is allot of potential for frauds to manipulate that kind of project and also, sorry for the negative mindset as we should perform some preventive measure much higher right now as crypto adoption is getting manifested through the world.

Crowdholding isn't only for charities, the majority of the projects on the platform are crypto related and have their own token. It is just one of the 100 projects there.

I really like what they are trying to do, it's a great way for startups to create a community, get feedback and grow while the people using Crowdholding are rewarded for the great responses and small tasks. I see it as the next step of bounties that are simply sharing content onto your newsfeed.

Great platform and it's a hidden gem, 37,000 signups is no small number, especially with how the market missed the boom at the end of last year. Imagine what happens to this platform when everyone starts looking at crypto? They keep growing, getting more projects and tokens and they will rise with the other tokens.

It is a good thing to help others especially when they are dire need of it and a project like this can be use for such especially if one want to help someone or group of people in a far away place. All what this project needs is better innovation and marketing before the world will take it serious.
This kind of project, that aims to help the people are the one who really need to be supported. Projects whose goal is to provide a really bright future ahead on others like renewable energy like Windhan project for renewing energy for a low cost electricity bill or health insurance like Afrihealth that focuses on providing such a efficient medical solutions through the use of blockchain technology. See how innovative blockchain is ? but still I don't know why most of people still hate blockchain eventhough they don't know it. As for my advice, support long term benefiting projects like what I've mention above so that we can have a bright and prosperous future ahead.

Looks a very interesting project.

After viewing their website it's a great working platform with a lot of buzz happening on there. Also I checked them out on CoinMarketCap and they have grown over 40% in the last 24 hours, it's still a small market cap and low value token, but they are growing and because of that i have joined up to the platform to start earning their token!

That's really cool, I haven't seen any website like this before, this is something very unique. My problem is that when it has to do with surveys and offers and thing like that, sites I visit usually tell that the offer is not available in my country, even cryptocurrency sites. I don't know how this one is going to be, maybe I'm going to check out their website first and see how it is and know whether it really something that is going to work out for me. But one thing for sure is that thing is great, whether it works for me or not.

The project does not look serious. If the project ideas responded to the market. They would already have $ 1,000,000 or more. And $ 39,000 is too small capital for the project. Even if the project did not conduct ICO. It would be possible to find third-party investors. And so this is 0.

Well from what I know about charity organization, they usually get support from NGOs, individuals, also government do help. But I don't really know how it works with this one owning a token.

There should be more initiatives like that, just because that's one area where cryptocurrency could really help people who need it the most.
Plus raising money for charity just brings in a lot of positive publicity, which is always needed.

I have read about this charity, they are doing some great jobs, opening schools and buying computer for poor children.. Appriciate them deeply.. If i get a chance i am going to help them too.. Also i am member of Crowd Holding but i don't use it anymore, yes they makes us work with the good projects but their payments are too low, specially their coin YUP is only could trade in Idex but it has nearly zero volume. If they join to a good exchange everything would turn to good and everyone starts to work for them.

I've been trying to merge Raffle lotteries and charity for a while. Unsuccessfully so far.
Read about my charity raffle here : https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/legendsters-charity-raffle-1-win-x35-of-ticket-price-5128694

Cabalism has tried doing it and has had a few contributors.

Outside of few users trying to run their own charity causes I don't see any active engagement from this community. However, there's potential. The tax benefits alone could attract many people. For that we have to get crypto taxed everywhere first. Which is a beast in its own right.

is it effective for crypto development? or is this just a strategy from the developer?
I don't think this will have an effect on market turnover with a low ranking and high trade turnover.
I prefer to search for other alt that can provide many benefits

I will still categorized crowdholdings as a new platform and it will take time to grow ,for now take tour eye off the 60,000$ market cap and enjoy the ride ,in the near future it will perform more better

I do understand how good it is to join and participate on crowdholding platforms as an alternative investment platform other than trading. What I can provide and advise is that, we should be also aware that even we think of crowdholding or IEOs to be secured, it is still best to filter out which and when you should try to enter it for the good return.

Charity is also another avenue to create tangible usecase of cryptocurrency and this will take cryptocurrency beyond mere speculative trading. This is actually good but my question is how will they create a worthwhile value for the token or will it be tight to giving of donations?

Now such projects are appreciated. It's great that there is such an opportunity to earn. The low cost of their token is not an indicator of success. The price may change at any time. The main thing is the utility.

I smell awesome ideas here. Way back to 2016, some ICOs aimed to collect the dust tokens for charity and they are successful to complete the useless coins for charity. Maybe we need to support such ideas in the future.

1. For how to get funds I don't understand because most crowdfunding from crypto mostly only applies to investment, maybe one way is to invite several crypto projects to work together or invite them to participate
2. For platforms I don't know
3. My question might be to participate in blockchain and crypto events because here might be an opportunity to find donors
4. The best way is probably to promote your website using advertising services such as adword, fb ads, etc.

I've not heard about this platform, but i will look into it. The numbers are very impressive. I just don't get why their token volume is so low, i see so many projects with a 10th of what these guys have and their token is more valuable. They need to work on their token, as if the price increases more and more users will go onto the platform, which will bring in more startups.

I've signed up and it's a great looking platform, they are a sleeping giant.

You won't find many people willing to donate, crypto tends to attract those greedy types.  You don't see people like Roger Ver or Jihan giving much to charity.  They are only interested if their contribution can give a potential return.

You are right it depends on the price of the token in the market and from the total market capitalization the token is not doing well in the market and at that working or raising found using they token will be a total waist of time and energy for both investors and article reviewer's.

I joined the platform a few weeks ago and i've not looked back. I really like using this platform as one of the ways I earn crypto without investing or mining. It's a great platform to earn a lot of different tokens. Yes the token price is quite low now, but it's a great platform and if any altcoin deserves to grow in value, it's this one as it actually has a use.

I would recommend the platform to everyone who has a slight interest in crypto.

I think it would be really cool for people to have the option to donate crypto either as a small percentage from each transaction or even from the amount that is held in collateral. Like something so easy and small that people wouldn't have to think about it but they can have the option to donate a portion of their crypto to a good cause
It is a very simple idea if you look at crypto as a medium of exchange or money. People donate money and donating crypto would not be bad if the one you want to donate is willing to accept it and knows what to do with it. It could be donated to any community center and they might use it pay their bills or improve the infrastructure. It will however spread more if people started donating it.

Let's be honest in here, the 10,000 YUP coins are just 3.4 dollars if converted to dollars. But at least it's a good pay for a microtask. On your OP, I saw that you're looking for other microtask site you should try to see microlancer.io.

I guess any information like it has over 37k sign up and 100+ projects just a marketing gimmick if we see the fact that the price of that token looks so crap. It looks like this platform has no demand at all. When it was claiming if that has a lot of demand and the price should be higher.

Every project that someone finds out to be interest will eventually say that it is a 'sleeping giant'. There are many ways to collect fund through charity and no need for a specific project to do this because if someone has created a thread for fundraising to charities, they can directly accept payment of bitcoin and other altcoins.

With that platform, they will reward you with something that doesn't have market at all. Yeah, I mean like an altcoin that has never been heard of. For example, the link given will reward you with 'YUP' coins. I didn't even heard that coin before.

This is very true. Why not use bitcoin or eth? No need to create another altcoin. I don't think this YUP coin will fall to the category of "sleeping giant". The mission is commendable but there's really no need to launch your own coin. Even with thousands of users and about hundred of projects, they didn't make a wave in the market. The dev team should change their strategy. I guess.
I think he's talking about the sleeping giant for the platform itself, the crowdholding.com. They keep on innovating with these platforms with a say that they are going to reinvent the ways of transactions like in donations and charity.

To make it simplier, they have to make a system that caters payment through bitcoin and ethereum and/or other altcoins. Integrate it to a well known service like BitPay and integrate it there *I know its possible through BP*.

There is always a reason behind every project, which most times, is meant to benefit the team.
This might look like a charity, but i believe it is a mutual platform for all.
Well, one of the good thing i see about it is that, the community might also benefit, depending on the value of the coin, but it definitely will take time before it grows to a satisfactory level. Else, i would just prefer to buy on exchange, instead of participating in earning tokens on the platform which might get to no where.

I would say it's difficult to do so.. I think probably the team is not designing enough mechanics to grow the value of the currency alongside the platform adoption.. I  might not speak too highly of binance exchange lately but I think they have proven to be the best project in term of consideration of investors because they keep devicing numerous ways to add value to the binance currency.. I think the crowdholding platform should do the same..

Crowdholding has over 37,000 signups and 100+ projects, I think they are a sleeping giant and they have continued to grow quietly even through the rough market. I would recommend them to anyone who is looking for a way to earn crypto.

Looks a very interesting platform with a nice community.

Also just looked on the website and it works very well, I've signed up to Crowdholding. It's a cool name, but it doesn't really sell itself compared to other bounty platforms, most of them have the name in the title. Remember that most people in the world do not know much about crypto, never mind airdrops and bounties.

It's an interesting platform and I like the fact they are trying to change the bounty system.

I think the idea of crowdsourcing ideas has never really taken off, but maybe involving crypto might spark that idea into life.

The platform looks good, constant content and they seem to be working hard on getting users and upgrading the platform, they need to work on the token price though as if it increases to 1 cent, everyone will be on the platform earning crypto and also investing into the token because of speculation.

I've signed up and keeping an eye on them, looks a good platform that currently is undervalued.

And what about their token value? I see that many people are using this platform to earn some tokens and many advertisers use it to attract users to use their platform. But why the price of the token is still so low? I am an ICO investor and total market cap is only 60 000$ is it really a successful platform?

I agree they need to work on their token value, but all it takes is it to increase and then they will be huge.

How many platforms do you know that have over 37,000 signups and 100+ projects? The hard part is getting the users and the platform, the token can grow as long as they start getting on exchanges.

I think that the 60k makes them seem very undervalued, and we know that if their token increases by 0.01 cent then all of a sudden it's not 60k. I wanted to talk more about what they are doing than the value of them, but it's a fair point.
I use the platform because they occasionally have bounties for some good coins. Though they may have 37,000 signups and 100+ projects they have very few active users. Even the project you highlighted in your earlier post only has 13 comments and 53 votes. The problem they have is that the bounties offered on the platform pay very little so you get lots of people signing up but when they realise they are getting less than $0.01 for doing the task they don't come back. They need to introduce some minimum bounty prices if they want to create a site people will return to.

Indeed there can work togheter and people can donate via crypto, i already see some old users who open topic and who want can donate via crypto and they buy with crypto and donate what children needs. But you need new investors for your project to make the price goes up.
It is a pity, of course, to see that in the field of cryptocurrency there is almost no benign direction. I think that this is due to difficult situations in the market and in the future it will change in a positive way.

yes, that a good to give charity to other, but you must remember its a project you need more feature or roadmap to attract investor.
and yeah we can see total cap only 60k $ and ATH in 300k$ and now in phase -86% from first price.
so i dont want to say your project bad or what because its already 1 year, some project wont be survive in 3 month.
but this project need new innovation or feature to attract people for joining.
