Don't know if I got tis quoting right but I will be glad if someone can take out time to help teach me how to do it better as I find it boring to quote what the previous users said.
@igeh, boss with all due respect sir, alot of persons have been looking upto this very moment of waiting for assessment and I'm one of them, not for the bonus sake but for the fact that I'm getting recognized on the forum hopefully for good and the other way round.
I understand that the relate of duplicate threads and spams on the board especially with regards to the election matter them and this one really dey understandable and excusable as I believe say so many been dey vex and at some point maybe just needed to air out their minds but I felt bad that they didn't care to check if such topics or threads has been previously created leading to more spams.
I'm pleading that you please forgive us all of this silly mistake and ignorance and carry out your statistics and gradings as a whole lot of us look up to that to measure our activeness on the forum.

We've been quite active over the last few weeks, but how has that affected the board? Newbies are not following the rules, there are duplicate topics here and there, and it took so long to get the mod's attention to lock them. We should not see topic creation as a competition; instead, we should try to engage in existing topics as much as we do new ones. That being said, I will not be compiling statistics for the time being until things improve. Someone else can complete the task and post it here or in a separate thread.

Well I guess you can call it an extra motive or incentive for the drive to work hard, it is imperative that we all strive hard to grow our local board and such  reward stipulated here in the local board makes everyone want to strive and contribute in the local board. So far the Nigerian board has been quite active and it can be partially attributed to this monthly reward in the local board. The rate at which all users striving to participated in the local board  is good and makes the board stand out even if its still at the early stage.

The pool I created says this is the best place to be since it is a monthly statistics of our local board and secondly it has no general forum statistics so it was a good decision to move it here.

I hope you don't see the merit monthly awards as a competition, but rather as a way to improve the board.

Watin I go like talk be say, ever since this our locale been dey officially created, I dey see old and even new faces for here being very active. This na better development as even without any means to promote we corner, the zeal to talk about watin dey happen already dey.

No need to dey competitive over anything. People mind already dey fron watin I dey observe and with the way we nation dey, things to talk about too plenty and all na matters way dey affect us seriously as e be now.

The goal of the Nigerian board is growth. And I support any healthy medium that can foster it. Be it through giveaways, "free consultations", presents etc. On the other hand we shouldn't sacrifice  quantity on the altar of quantity. Quality checks should be done on each posts (if possible) during analysis. Furthermore, I encourage everyone to be self-motivated and pursue the development of knowledge especially in the crypto space so as to contribute meaningfully to the discuss that goes on here.

Making sense, I just like as this thread dy here becos if we talk about to get merit on our own without some kind help my broda nah Oyo oh and I noticed say if we no carry each other along the boat no go seal well.
Consistency is the key.

Again if we do this one then we dey acknowledged this giveaway as competitive which we're trying to discourage it to be seen as such. And for anybody in any campaigns that doesn't accept local board post, that alone doesn't justify you not to participating on the board. We no dey force anybody to write here but no use campaign as excuse as just 2+ extra post daily no go kill you or deprived you from recieving your campaign payouts. I believe the highest poster write about 40+ message monthly on the board.

You making just 2+ post extra can make you pass those numbers with ease and the go thing about writing here is that you're free to express yourself as you feel. Besides we all wanted this board as we all campaign for am either directly or indirectly which means we're all obligated to keep the board active and that means doing some sacrifice.

Thanks for your suggestion, but no need of changing anything, we should not let the signature campaign we are to determine this, who is not in a campaign can even be the one that qualifies for it.

The points both of you outline are very important to the growth and development of this board and we should encourage high-standard practice here that will force out the best quality in all the members of this local board member, just as Charles-Tim said we shouldn't get carried away by the merit contest thereby pushing us into ditching out low-quality content just to meet the highest posts quarter which wi be very bad for the overall image of the local board if the board get flooded with low-quality posts.
*But then just a little head up to motivate regular posting in the local board even though our campaign does not count local board posts but for the culture and the love and accompanied with the little merit awards on monthly basis, we will sure have motivation for such members.

My observation on those that the local board doesn't count for their campaign is:
*We should lower their own requirement for meeting the award since the monthly award is the only motivation for them in the light of their current positions most especially the higher rank members who are in long-term campaigns without possible change any time soon e.g Best exchange campaigners and the rest.
*This idea may not be 100% right for everyone but then this is just my own personal observation and suggestion for the possible inclusion of all.

Just as @ Brainboss don talk, I believe say this merit na one major way to go her these persons to turn up on activeness in the forum as do everything possible to be known and heard in the local board.
I dey also see how tirelessly our bosses them dey work against plagiarism and spamming in the board and na really thing of commitment because e no easy at all and our oga Dem don show this commitment reach far.

@igebotz boss you too much for the services you dey render even without any placed direct rewards on it and yet with Al the criticism, you still dey turn up on a reg, baba you good but I shock how I from number 2 last December come dey drag second to last this January, this matter no clear Sha, but all the same keep the good works and flags flying sir.

To all the winners of last month, una too much and the speed una use chance us no too good at all but abeg I no wan see una next month because I no go play this month.

Please lets encourage ourselves to be active on the board and get the board vibrant and free from spam and I'm sure  if we do well in the local board, we might other of our request granted on the forum.

I understand wetin you dey try talk so people no go misuse the opportunity and results to spamming the board. I believe that we won't tolerate as we have proposed a zero tolerance to spam, plagiarism and other unhealthy practice on the local board. This activity is a means of encouraging those that dedicate their time to keep the forum over active. We appreciation them no mean say we dey discouraged or look down on other but they're the outstanding members and need to be acknowledge.

There's nothing wrong with a friendly competition if it drives up the quality and activeness of the board. What we're giving out isn't that much to drive up any unhealthy behavior if we noticed that then it can be stopped immediately. Again this board doesn't have merit source and technically what I have can't be enough to merit every single quality post I encountered so we'll be looking for alternative until there's enough or a merit source aside to the board. Suggestions are welcome on ways to improve this little gesture of meriting highest contributors of the board monthly.

But all Nigerians posting on local board are automatically partaking. It should be seen as an additional means of receiving merit, which is good but should not be seen as a contest in my opinion. My opinion is based on how I think it should be.

I go like see your face for the update next month, even though you no win atleast make ur face dey top 10. E no hard to achieved am sha, you fit just dey set aside 1 posts daily or 5 per week for the local board even though your campaign no go count am, do am for the culture.and I for like make more users dey very active for this board. If we leave the board for the newbie, dey go misuse am so it's left for the senior members of the comments to constantly be active so they can guide the newbies in the right way.

As promised, 10merits has been sent to last month winners, i encourage everyone to partake in this contest so the quality of the board go increase. To the winners,this is an encouragement for you to continue with your post to keep the discussions going. I just check through and see say my face no show and my show no shine for here,I feel somehow say I no too dey chuk mouth Mata for this board.

I wan say very big thank you to all my Naija people wey dey the forum because by now we suppose know say e no easy especially for persons like myself wey no dey good with writing but we no dey relent Sha and I want plead say make we try our best to bring out the best in us to this board because na here be our village for the community.

I no even expect say my name go dey for last month of December because since this year na from one problem to another and currently now I dey under treatment and I pray for speedy recovery too.
