Yeah, we decided to get most of our products from Chinese companies, but we had to pick the good quality ones, since the bad ones are worth it, to point paying even 1 dollar for a phone that will work for 2 weeks then break.

OP, seeing that you're dealing with electronics and especially smartphones, I have a suggestion for you.

Phones from Chinese companies can reach the highest standards phones from major companies have set but with a fraction of the price. In the past, I've paid other people (in BTC) to ship me phones from China becauss stores there wouldn't accept bitcoin. Have a look here http://chinese-smartphones.com/ to get an idea of what I'm talking about.

Most of those deal online and you could easily become a reseller.

Thanks for all your helpful input.

Yes all items are still in stock, i called a few suppliers today and yes we will sell Iphones and Samsung phones too, but and at a cheap price too.

Some lenova phones will cost about 0.7 BTC too.

Website is currently under development and a coming soon page will be launched. Ill make sure i update this post when we launch the website.
We will only be selling in bitcoin, we wont accept credit cards.

Our culture will be based on helping bitcoin make it up there, by providing cheap services only purchasable in bitcoin should be helpful. Right?

Coins for tech sell a lot of phones exclusively for bitcoin http://coinsfortech.com/product-category/mobile-phones/

Though maybe you could set up a site solely for cheaper models. They do sell a Huawei model but it doesn't look cheap to me http://coinsfortech.com/product-category/mobile-phones/?filter_brand=225

Smartphones are a popular item these days, the local mall has about 6 kiosks selling smartphones,
in addition to their regular store that sells them.
Are there that many customers, what is the competition like?
I imagine they must be making a buck, or else there wouldn't be so many of them?
But maybe some of them are taking a loss, or financed through stock exchanges?

are those second hand smart phone, or they are new? and where it will be located?, the problem with goods from usa is that for us european there are trouble with the customs

They are new.
They are just 1:1 clones of the originals.
Yeah, the Chinese are good at this  Wink

How long will these last? My friend got one of those fake Samsung S3 (or something like that, the costly one) and the touchscreen broke in a few days and it stopped receiving calls a few days after that.

Hmm, that depends, mostly on your luck.
I got 2 Samsung Note 3 clones, one for me one for my sister.
My sister dropped hers and broke the screen, the phone still works just fine though, even though the screen is cracked.
I was careful with mine yet my screen got fucked, it wouldn't work properly.

So like I said, it's a matter of luck.
The Chinese make good clones, it's just that some of them might come out faulty.
That goes with everything though.
My Mercedes came out to be faulty from the factory and it's not Chinese.

There's a simple difference: warranty. Does these clones come with a year's warranty?

Yeap, but you have to send it back to the manufacturer on your expense, and wait for it to come back.
You are better off just getting a new clone  Wink

Here we only have to give it to the nearby service center and they usually fix it in 4-5 days. I did it for my camera and I assume the same procedure holds for everything else.

As far as clone goes, it then depends what is the cost rartio with the original. If it is some 20-30% then it is tempting.

It's more than that.
I got the Note 3 clone when the Note 3 just came out.
It was selling in my country for €650.
I got the clone for $150  Shocked Shocked Shocked

Do however keep in mind that it is not the same performance.
The clone has lower performance.
It didn't really bother me though as it was still good enough.

At those prices it is worth taking one and trying out for sure. If it looks the same it may help impress the friends by having the latest overpriced model Grin

It is exactly the same, package, looks, everything, it even has the branding on the battery too.
Hell, it even comes with the manual.
But the only difference is the performance like I said.
Less ram, slower cpu. But still good enough.

It seems like very good idea and I think many bitcoin users will be very happy to use their BTC funds to buy such smartphone.
I'm just concerned about shipping.
Are you really sure that you will be able to send your smartphone in any part of the world for free?
Price is really fair and very good, similar like prices for smartphones in my country.

If someone is VERY serious with this kind of thing, it would become the next big thing in the developing countries, where it is needed the most.  Sad

Some people have tried this in the computer field. eg : http://ibnlive.in.com/news/chip-the-worlds-cheapest-computer-9-1ghz-processor-512mb-of-ram-4gb-storage-wifi/544881-11.html

Yep

Did some research on them, coinsfortech.com
They use this script for their shop
https://coigg.com/product/bitcoin-online-shop-script/ Its being sold for 19USD
My guy feeling tells me its the same owner
They scammed me, they sell a script their claiming its V6 but after i bought it and downloaded it, it turned out to be and outdated version, i never got a reply from their "support team" apparently  they Scam
Read this: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/buyer-beware-regedit-and-coiggcom-scam-you-be-the-judge-1010918

They are also over priced.. I meant a Legit cheap bit-coin electronics store

I don't think you need any special scripts to do this.
Just create a large amount of addresses and assign one address to each order.
You can check if the payment was done through the blockchain API.

I know a similar service like this already exists, just forgot the website. In there, you could by a cheap phone or an expensive laptop, depends on what your budget is. Idk if it is a legit service though.

Oh wait I remember now, it is named Coins for Tech. Just forgot their domain name. Huh

...

I just came back from Peru.  The BIGGEST billboard at their main airport highlighted new cellphone hand-sets from Huawei (China, Cisco's big competitor and technology-thief).  iApple and Samsung now have a problem...

If BTC hang ins in there another year or so OK (probable), than almost anyone with $100 (cheapest in Peru) would be able to get a smart phone that could use Bitcoin.

How about a whole new online marketplace for affordable smart phones which you can buy with bitcoin?
Me and a few developers are thinking of starting an online Affordable electronics and cell phone store selling exclusively with btc.
here is an example

Here are a list of this features

    Display Size: 5.0
    ROM: 256MB
    RAM: 256MB
    Display Resolution: 800x480
    CPU: Dual Core
    Design: Bar
Feature: with MP3 with Touch Screen Gravity Response Video Player with WiFi Color Screen with Bluetooth Google Play Store with FM Radio With Ebook Front Camera with Qwerty with Email MMS
    Camera Pixels: 5.0MP
    Memory Card up to: 32G
    Operation System: Android
    Sim Card: Mini SIM
    Network: GSM900 GSM1800 GSM1900 GSM850
    Recording Definition: 480P
    Battery: 2800

This would cost you about 0.3714 BTC With free shipping.

Other cool stuff like

This 300w Wind turbine

This would cost you about 1.5 BTC

Would also be selling speakers, earphones LCD tvs and every other kind of electronic appliance you can think of

Any thoughts?
Would suck a website be of any interest to you?

Thanks for reading!
