Are you reselling the Prismas?

It would depend on the demand currently it doesn't seem high enough.

That is a good idea. I have done just that.

Great. And for marketing purposes and clarification, you may add something like: "Outside the US/Rest of the World"

I sincerely hope your orders start picking up!

Ps.: I think I have found the solution:

And you may want to advertise this deal as not only Australasia (where the greatest market is China, who I guess have their own forums for these deals), but as "Rest of the World", that includes Africa, Latin America, the Middle East, Russia (where bitcoin is banned; but who cares?) and Europe as well (strangely, for me as a European your deal originating from Australia can be the winner; if it comes through).

That is a good idea. I have done just that.

No full batches have been completed yet as the demand outside the USA isn't very big.

Strange; very strange; why not? The US is just 1/4 of the world economy (and the population is even much lower); inside everyone wants to buy this; outside; not much? Hm.

Come on people; let's buy this! )

Beastlymac,

Thank you.

How many of these 10-batch orders have you made so far; if I may ask?

Is that ever happen that 10 orders didn't come together? I guess that is just a matter of time.

The way I see it, it's a great offer, esp. now; if one buys BTC on current prices. Why there should be a problem getting together 10 participants?

I will personally order 3. Your order would bring it up to 4. No full batches have been completed yet as the demand outside the USA isn't very big.

It has happened with other miners that i have sold (dual miner usb's)

Yes the price is good if you buy btc now.

I responded to your pm.

Beastlymac,

Thank you for your information.

By the way, the price is more or like fixed in BTC, even as it stands at $330 now, the price is the same BTC0.85 as when BTC price was around $500? (Nice if you buy some bitcoins at today's prices)

Regarding shipping. To Europe: You stated the weight is 5.2 kg, so I went to the Australian Post's site ( http://auspost.com.au/apps/international-parcel.html ), selected Parcels International, 5.0-5.5 kg

Express Post International, with insurance of my liking - for the value of, say AUD300

It goes on like this:

Postal charge - AUD152.20
Extra Cover    - AUD14.60
Total Charge - AUD166.80
I pay this in bitcoin at prices ~2 weeks from now, or when shipping is due, + BTC 0.85 for the hardware - now.

Please correct me where necessary.

Yes the price is fixed as that is how Asicminer are doing it. Yes postage can be paid when the units are ready to ship. Can you pm me your country so that i can check over the postal quotes. Just as a reminder the miners will only be ordered if we reach 10 units. If that doesn't occur then you will be issued with a refund.

Edit: where are other interesting parties from this thread? Or maybe it's just me being more comfortable making the public part of the deal public?

I calculated shipping to Europe. It is still interesting for me. Question: how do I pay for the shipping portion?

I don't know, if these come with any kind of warranty?

I am new to this: expected time enough people gather and you can ship?

Shipping cost is converted into bitcoin via preev.com then paid in btc.
They come with an rma deal from friedcat
The expected time is a couple of weeks. If the amount isn't fulfilled you will be refunded.

Are people interested in the new Prisma devices?

Specifications are:

Quote
Hashrate: 350-370GH/s per hashing unit in normal mode, 1400-1480GH/s per full device.

Power consumption: ~0.67 W/G board-wise. On-wall power consumption relies on PSU
efficiency. (typically 1050-1100 W per full device, 0.75-0.78 W/G)

Size: 35cmx12cmx12cm per full device.

Weight: 7.5kg per full device.

Powering: One 6pin PCI-E plugs per hashing unit.

The hashing units are driven by ethernet controllers. It can also be driven by cgminer on Raspberry PI.
Each ethernet controller or Raspberry PI can run up to 32 units.

Pricing would be TBA but would be competitive for the group buys that are operating for the USA.

IF YOU ARE FROM USA PLEASE ORDER THROUGH CANARYINTHEMINE HIS THREAD CAN BE FOUND HERE: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/asicminer-tube-group-buy-2-735982

CURRENT PRICE PER GH: ~0.001BTC

Friedcats thread is here: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/block-erupter-tube-sales-information-thread-round4-price-at-1btc-per-ths-735728

This will be a worldwide (except USA please see above) offering the current price is 0.85BTC per miner not including the price of the controller units as they can handle multiple devices. The controller will cost 0.07BTC this means that the hashing units will cost ~0.001BTC/gh making it the cheapest offer for the asicminer tube when not buying directly. This is a short term offer. Preferably this offer is open to people in Australasia but can be shipped anywhere around the world as long as you're willing to pay shipping. Orders will re ship directly from me for each round. Orders will be required to be paid to the groupbuy address by Wednesday each week with the aim of shipping on the Monday of the following week.

Size: 25cmx12cmx12cm per miner
Weight: 5.2kg

You will be required to pm me in the following format:
Quantity of miners:
Quantity of controllers:
Postage cost via auspost.com.au :
Tx id for miners:
Tx id for postage:
Postage address:

All orders once sent to the manufacturer can not be refunded. Only orders that are complete will be sent to the manufacturer if 10 devices are not ordered people will have the choice of rolling over to the next week or getting a refund.

Payment details will be provided soon. Upon receipt of batch one I will also post a guide on assembly of the units or people have the choice to elect to have the devices pre assembled but it is always best to check assembly anyway when the miners are received.

My previous experience with groupbuys include:
Antminer U1 totalling 1000 units sold
Gridseed groupbuy totalling 300 units sold
I was also part of the team who manufactured 3000 of the bluefury devices
