Poloniex still support Legacy account created in the past with 2000usd per day.

Bittrex locked out all legacy accounts by modifying their state to 'new' without notifying the users they will do so.
Not sure how they will handle it but to come back from this fiasco they would need to put all new accounts as 'basic' to let people withdraw their money, otherwise this will end in court.

This is actually correct. Since they are based in USA, they are reachable for sure and that will most likely be the end of their exchange if they don't notify people and let them take their money.
I believe that doing this would be crime also in USA, and could end on huge fines and possible prison time. It's sad to see big exchanges like bittrex that used to be good, to turn this way and peeing on the eye of their customers.
Oh well, gladly we have already decentralized exchanges which most likely will become a standard.

Poloniex requires you to verify your ID, and they have been doing some pretty shady stuff recently, so i wouldn't trust them too much to be honest.
I'd like to know a exchange which won't require your ID to withdraw, because that is pretty much against the whole nature of crypto.
Not if you have a "legacy" account.

I made my account a while back, and except for my email +real name + phone number, they didn't ask for any verification.

I can withdraw up to 2000 USD a day with it.
Same goes with bittrex, but i think theirs is even unlimited.

I didn't know there was differences between legacy and newly created account.
I thought the Lv1 verification is the same for all accounts, provide real name & city/country
I never give them my phone number when submitting my personal info for the first verification
are you sure photo ID is required for new account now? It used to only for Lv2 or 3 verification

edit: I just logged in and noticed this "legacy" thing and also the site asked to turn on 2FA
it seems filling out this profile verification (to get $25000 limit) is optional, am I right?

Does anyone know, that which exchange offers the lowest transaction fees. So far i only know hitbtc, which has 0.0004BTC transaction fees which still are pretty high considering that you cannot actually setup some certain fees on your own. Nexchange.io allows free tx fees, but currently they exchanging site is down. I appreciate the help.

Yobit before does have 0.0015BTC withdrawal fee but it was lowered at 0.0008 BTC. I guess that 0.0004 BTC fee on hitbtc is the best offer that you can take but yet that's totally high for us. I haven't used nexchange before.

Well, 0.0004 btc withdrawal feeon Hitbtc is pretty low, compared with mostly other exchanges. It's not much higher than average Bitcoin network fees currently. As mentioned above, other exchanges have fees in range between 0.0008-0.001 btc or even more. If you don't want to use Poloniex, I would recommend to stay on Hitbtc.

Sadly all of my legacy accounts are locked with 2FA codes that are lost long time ago.
The transaction fee is tempting but the need for ID is pretty suspicious because many exchange do not demand that at all.

I think poloniex by far has the cheapest withdrawal fee. Now, if you don't want to submit any personal documents. Your second choice will be hitbtc which charges 0.00085BTC. Its still lower compared to others which charges .001BTC, some are even higher. I'm not sure why is it  0.0004BTC on yours. This one is from their site:

The full list of withdrawal fees is available in your Account. Here follows the brief overview on some of our fees for popular currencies.

BTC: 0.00085 BTC

I assume you don't have your 2fa recovery code right? Maybe you can contact poloniex support on that? However their support are not that fast on responding queries but you can try your luck anyways.

Don’t have a back up code/ recovery key?
If you do not have a backup of your 16 digit key, please open a support ticket at Poloniex Support for assistance. If you're new to this, please refer to the article on how to open a support ticket and what information you should include.

do you mean cheapest transaction fees on withdrawal?
if so, then I think poloniex is the cheapest with 0.0001 BTC (10k sats)
most other exchangers charge minimum 0.001 BTC (100k sats)
if you're transferring between exchanger you can do via doge to save on fees

I'm not sure how they offer free transaction fees unless it's covered in their fee that they take off of you for exchanging. I would recommend not going for the smallest fees though as they are normally a worse service. Coinbase may have large fees but they are very well known and trusted.
