I tried VR set from Samsung last week, there was video of extreme skiing and as fan of extreme sports I have to say, it was incredible experience. I certainly see VR industry as something huge, it will boom, and people will be consumed by it. You will be able to experience things you could just dream of. Journy to moon? No problem. I can see movies cathing second breath. There will be people who will live life of playboy billionair sitting on their cheap sofa and they will be happy. Rel life will become boring. It will change many things.

This is a pretty cool and cheap way of experiencing virtual reality, especially if you don't have the money for an expensive VR headset

I like the thinking behind the Vove but looking at the demo videos I notice the out of focus blurring doesn't seem that natural. Whilst "out of focus" objects are blurred internally, their edges are relatively sharp which makes the whole effect look weird IMHO.

Are this VR headsets only working with the new samsung phones or are other smartphones also supported.
Any Android and iOS smartphones are supported. For best VR experience, the phone shou;d have gyro sensor.
Seen these around, what is the quality like? It must be like minecraft quality graphics or can you see other stuff like text?
The quality is best ! It just depends on the quality of the video you are watching or the graphics of the app. The viewer has nothing to do with the quality.
OK Do you know what is the minimum IPhone version for supporting this.

Yesterday, I got my first ever Virtual Reality experience. It was Google Cardboard which you can assemble at home for less than 4 $ !
Just plug your phone in it and enjoy the Virtual World !
