This is a welcome discussion point. Nice to see I'm not the only one who thinks like this. Sell the coins that you know nothing about. Do proper research on any coin you buy. If the market falls at least you can hold your coins knowing they have a long term future. Take note that they require extensive paperwork and proof though, before they allow you to make deposits. And I've heard that it takes a few days or weeks to get validated.

I would prefer buying bitcoins from localbitcoins but you can find any local dealer from your region to deal in bitcoins. You can purchase face to face bitcoins to avoid scams.
