The simple fact that you can pin the site in the dock is huge for me and the peers I've been talking to, but of course I do understand it may not be something completely different for others. Still, the feedback is pretty good until now:

The idea is I wanted to develop a solid, scalable, but clean desktop app for CoinMarketCap. This is just version 1.0.0! There are many updates to come, I just wanted to check if there's demand for it.

By reading those links, you really received a nice set of feedback on your work. You really put some time and effort to build it. Great and hope you will continue building on future features.  Cool

Now, since it's quiet not hassle to visit coinmarketcap website by others here and don't need that app or there are already related app, just keep working on it until you able to build unique extra feature resulting for others to think that your app can also be considered as one of the suggested desktop apps. Goodluck.

I also often visit coinmarketcap to see the development of a coin, I'm more comfortable using the web version, by the way what is the advantage of coinmarketcap desktop version rather than web version,?

I check it everyday to check my favorite altcoin or token. Coinmarketcap is the best where we can check the favorite altcoin.
I normally check in web version in android so i think i dont need dekstop version.

I do not think I need such a program. For this, there is already a tabtrader and a blockfolio. but maybe I'm wrong.

Hi guys,

Paul here, a 19 years old student who completely fell in love with the tech behind cryptocurrencies. After I read the whitepapers a couple of months ago, I invested in what I considered it had intrinsic value and since then things went well, hence I decided to give back to the community.

Check out CoinMarketCap for Desktop and track your favourite cryptos much more easily! You can also set to launch it on startup + there are many cool features on the roadmap, such as automated refresh and ability to set notifications when a specific price is hit. Not affiliated with the official website.

You can download it from here: https://coinmarketcapdesktop.com I will continue to work on the project, as much as my time will allow it, but of course the code is open source and anyone is able to contribute: https://github.com/PaulRBerg/CoinMarketCap-Desktop

Happy tracking,

Paul Berg
