I've designed and developed a progressive web app (click ‘Demo App’ button on parkcryption.co.uk).

The app allows people to find parking spaces anywhere in the world and pay for parking using newly created BCH/SLP and ERC20 PARK tokens.

My skills are software dev but not social media marketing.  I am looking for project partners to help me to raise awareness of the ParkCryption app.

The project is in bootstrap mode at the moment with me as the only team member and the demo app allows people to get a feel for the project and application functionality.

Please drop me a message if you find my project interesting and would like to get involved in the project.

You have a lot to develop from now. There are tons needed to be considered in making this blockchain app a successful one. First and foremost, you've created your own Coin $PARK in ERC20 network which must both be fully secured and the coin itself has its own information and a separate project. Why? Always keep in mind that since it is a token, there can be instances that people would not prefer using it mostly because the ETH gas fees where higher than the cost of the actual parking. The token itself should also be a stablecoin (so any PARK tokens can have the same ETH value), in which must be pegged on a certain existing coin. Hence, consider that the token would have its liquidity, its exchanges, and its own promotion.

Second, I would suggest you consider BSC network which require less fees or just use Payment Options that has less fees and faster transaction (i.e. ADA or XRP) yet I don't know how it can be integrated in your app and the language you've used to build its backend.

Lastly, there is already Bootstrap 5 as I see you still use v4.1 and please add paddings and margin. Whenever I fix the width of the window (to see its responsivity), the elements are close to each other and on the border of the window. Just a little suggestion but would be helpful I guess.

1.  I was hoping that people on here would test the app and in the process create parking spaces where they are located.

Trying to register but it requires me to complete 2fa, which make me didn't process further. I don't think anyone would complete it only to testing it and I believe that is why others might be didn't process further to test your site. Try to make a less strict registration process, so maybe anyone wants to play around testing your site.

Also, I noticed the form on the top of "Find Parking Space" page overlayed each other. It happens on 1366x768. Clicking a parking spot multiple times returns an excessive toast message, maybe try a workaround for it. And it may be a good idea if you linked the signup/in the link on the toast message.

I've strolled around your website and I am quite impressed with the level of development you have made for being a one-man team, I also have looked into your parkcryption app and I don't know if this is just part of the DEMO but you only have a few spots available for your app. I also have notice that you are mostly focus on the development part of your app since its the only thing included in your roadmap but if the business is about parking spaces I would suggest that you also try to focus on finding partners such as hotels, malls, and other commercial spaces that leases their parking space so you have a lot of "supply" for your users. For people who are interested in being one I would suggest that you start including a page dedicated for interested operators/parking lot owners who wants to take part of your project similar to what RingGo did in their website.

Project concept sounds good. Though this isn't a "pure" crypto project and require significant touches/connections to the physical world. Parking spot supply seems critical. If you are pitching this is as a world wide app (saving fiat exchange fees) then you need parking spot supply around the world. That seems a heavy (non-digital) lift. Probably should identify specific markets to start with.

But before expanding countries, you need customers to use this app in their home market. Again parking spot supply is key. No one will care about %age money saved if they can't find a spot on your app.

Thanks.  I've spent the last year working on the website and demo app.

1.  I was hoping that people on here would test the app and in the process create parking spaces where they are located.
2.  I'm currently looking at some stack-based scripting languages that can be used for the Bitcoin blockchain.
3.  Binance Smart Chain has crossed my mind as it is a fork of Ethereum and I know how to write solidity smart contracts that I could use with Binance Smart Chain.

Hi, first of all, congrats for your hard work and impressive results. The website looks cool and userfriendly and the demo app seems like works well.

Tips:
1. For the moment there are only England parkings, you could try to add more countries to proof your work in a complex way.
2. As others said, it should be great for your project to be able to operate with Bitcoin. I don’t think that BCH is a bad option, however yes limited.
3. Are you thinking about to deploit to Binance Smart Chain? Currently there are a lot of projects that are launching there and for consequence, an important amount of investments go there. It could be better as well to implement this option.

Thats all, for the rest of the project: keep working hard and you will succeed! If you need more tips or some help about these three points I got you, do not hesitate to PM me.

Just wondering why users will choose your service instead of similar service that use fiat as currency. What makes yours unique and better? Was thinking that you'll need to make it crypto-friendly to attract cryptocurrency fans who prefer not to deal with fiat-based services

If we have this kind of thinking in every cryptocurrency then basically all cyptocurrency are useless at all since fiat currencies already exists but this is not the case now as we are seeing more and more crypto based projects on already existing businesses and application. On the side of parking owners accepting or availing their project for their parking spots will just give them another payment option which new users might be interested in using rather than fiat. It's up to the project developer to decide how this users will use their crypto more rather than the fiat currency they have whether its through loyalty points or giving a much better service compared to the already existing ones.

The benefits of ParkCryption are:

Free to Use
ParkCryption is free to use and payment transaction fees are almost zero for parking anywhere in the world unlike the competition who are associated with multiple fees: for using their parking software, fiat card transaction fees and cross-border fiat currency conversion fees when parking in a country where you do not have a credit or debit card.

Security and Privacy
ParkCryption uses Two Factor Authentication (2FA) to provide an extra layer of security beyond passwords and usernames.

Global Currency
The ParkCryption PARK token is based on cryptocurrency/blockchain technology, allowing users to provide and use parking services without the restrictions of cross-border bank fees and fiat currencies.

Smart Contracts
PARK tokens use Blockchain Smart Contracts to make payment only when the customer's vehicle has been recorded through GPS as having been parked at a designated parking spot for the reserved amount of time, which protects parking space users and parking space providers from fraud.

Automated Payments
No unjust credit card or PayPal chargebacks. The detection of the vehicle allows the Smart Contract to automatically transfer PARK tokens to the parking space provider once the parking space has been released.

Data Science Enhanced Functionality
With enough data crunching, features such as "AutoPark" will be possible - the ParkCryption system will recommend suitable parking places to customers as they drive into a town or city based on customer preferences, previous parking choices, real time updates about parking availability, and even their current destination.

I agree with your comment on the roadmap just being about software analysis and development activity to date.  I need to add more to the roadmap now that I have a demo app version such as finding parking providers and parking space users.  I also like the idea of a page dedicated to interested operators/parking lot owners who want to take part in the project.

Keep in mind that you just don't take up registrations for anyone interested in being an operator as you still need to filter them out, people might abused it for example they are registering parking spots that they do not own and just wants to monetize/scam using your app. You still need to treat them like a real estate lessor where they need to provide proof of ownership and their capability of reserving the spot for your users. Bottom line is you still need to know them as their parking spaces will reflect directly to the service you are providing.

bitmover,
My initial project idea was to use BTC but I also wanted to use smart contracts that process the crypto transaction once the user has parked at the parking spot for the reserved amount of time.  I knew that Ethereum smart contracts could be used for this functionality but could not find any technical info on doing smart contracts with the BTC blockchain but found https://cashscript.org/ smart contracts for Bitcoin Cash blockchain.

Your comments about BTC versus BCH has put my mind back onto BTC payments as the original idea was to use BTC for my project.  It was the need for smart contracts that led me to Ethereum and then onto BCH Cashscript.  I'll work out how to implement BTC with C# and/or JavaScript and add it to my project for paying for parking spaces and donating to the project.  Do you have any advice on code libraries or software projects that I could look at to get a head start on implementing BTC payments into my app or interfacing with a mobile wallet app?

You can try rsk,  which enable smartcontracts in bitcoin network.

I dont know much about it, check it out

"in what way  your app will gather their coordinates to be fed into the database" - I use JavaScript to get the longitude/latitude coordinates from the user's mobile phone and then call a Web API to update the cloud database.

Theb,
Yes this demo version only has a few parking spots at the moment which were added by me for app testing purposes.

SFR10,
"We could only pay directly using Park tokens in the app" - I have been focused on the concept of smart contracts to take a future payment for a parking reservation.  This is why I posted to this forum to get other people's input as when you are working in isolation its easy to get too focused on a particular train of thought when developing the software.

"only when the user’s vehicle has been recorded using satellite coordinates as been parked at a designated parking spot for the reserved amount of time" - The user's mobile phone would be used to provide the GPS coordinate checks while the Parkcryption app is being used to direct the user to the parking space.  I was planning on writing code as a service for the Parkcryption app that monitors time spent along with GPS coordinates to track the parking contract which then interfaces with the blockchain smart contract to trigger off the parking contract transaction process.

Crypto Swap Exchange
pay for parking using newly created BCH/SLP and ERC20 PARK tokens.
CMIIW; We could only pay directly using Park tokens in the app, while the other mentioned cryptocurrencies we'll be used for purchasing Park tokens only. Am I right?
- If I was right, then you should consider direct payments using those cryptocurrencies [or even better do what @bitmover suggested].

ParkCryption uses Blockchain Smart Contracts to make payment only when the user’s vehicle has been recorded using satellite coordinates as been parked at a designated parking spot for the reserved amount of time, which protects users and parking providers from fraud.
Could you please explain the highlighted part a bit further? Does it mean that vehicles are required to have a GPS that comes with a connectivity feature?

The app allows people to find parking spaces anywhere in the world and pay for parking using newly created BCH/SLP and ERC20 PARK tokens.

As Theb said, the project looks very polished, beautiful website and app.

My main suggestion is to remove BCH support is and to add BTC support.

Many people around the world, and specially in this forum, consider BCH a scam and a fraud (supported by individuals such as Faketoshi), and adding support to this kind of coin will reduce the credibility of your project.

Why didn't you add BTC support? An ERC-20 token is way more expensive than a BTC transfer, and bitcoin is more widely accepted as a payment method. Nobody will criticize you for accepting BTC, but people will for accepting BCH and not supporting BTC.

By adding only BCH support you are taking sides, on the loser's side, in an old drama, with no possibility of any benefit by that support.
