For some reason hunters forgot their useless tokens from bounty and dont have idea anymore if their bounty tokens have some value. If you leave your wallet for quite sometime the easiest way to know this is to check your address on these two sites.

https://etherscan.io

https://ethplorer.io

The purposes of these sites are not only to see transactions but with the latest update and upgrade, we can see valuation of tokens under erc20 network that have been listed on coinmarketcap. You dont need to visit each channel or social media for update by simply looking on these sites you will know if your tokens from bounty have value.
I think we need to check our wallet everytime.  Because it will help us to not worry about our token.  We will feel secure if we can see the update information about our token.  Whether it has value or not.  By using the channels or social media,  it will make everything become easy.

Yes, you can check your ether wallet address with some tokens from bounties or airdrops in ethplorer and etherscan but these two sites shows different price in other tokens as far as I have experience so I always check the tokens in exchanges to know which is most likely to near the price. I would like to suggest that always check the social media accounts of the ico thag you have joined to know every updates of their tokens or plan to where they plan to list in exchange.

You are right about the etherscan and ethplorer, but also they do not reflect the true prices of every tokens.
I think they pick their datas from coinmarket cap or there about.

Always do your own research aside the scan network, some are volumeless pumps.

That's what I did too. I just forget them all and keep playing and stick to the real job I have on the job site. This at least will not give me stress but its also encouraging when you see one of your token's price is rising.  This could be unexpected but sure it's a good indication that the market could turn  differently this 2020 because some teams have updated how much they'd achieved since the time they went silent.
It's stressful if that's the very main source that you're hoping for to get some value someday. But on your part, you don't have to think of it that much and just move forward and focus with some other productive things that you can work for. While you are busy with that, you can simply check those tokens if something happened in favor to yourself and shows some value. And if there is none, get back to reality and don't just treat it as an experiment, a loss and a lesson.

you can check it wherever you want, but most of tokens that you receive as a bounty hunter do not have value, and there is a few that does, and everybody is talking about them, it is that rare currently

i prefer etherscan.io to follow my ETH wallets, because they give clear picture of all ERC-20 tokens, but also ERC-721 NFT tokens, that could be used in crypto games

Etherscan is the most used I guess.
By pasting your Ethereum addresses there you will see if your bounty tokens have made a value. It won't waste time much if you'll check and hope that someday it will have a dollar value and that's what OP is conveying with his message. But if you have lost hope and you don't think that there's still something to wait for those bounty tokens, just leave it and move on.
Been checking my altcoins in here back then and yes they show it in USD so that people know how much does the token cost.
Was checking my AION tokens when I joined their bounty back in 2017.
But now I don't have that many altcoins because I believe that many lost their value or dried up already.
Yet you still saw the value of your aions in USD. Did you start selling it when you have learned that it's already have an equivalent in USD? Most bounty hunters I think do practice checking through any of those explorers with the hope that someday their tokens will have value.
It won't hurt to check it from day to day but if there's no help and you think that it's just a waste of time, you can give up and move on.

I keep checking my wallet address now and then to check whether a new coin has popped in. Checking my wallet address on etherscan gets me discouraged seeing the value. Some coins that I have, their token price reads about 0.00008 and you're having up-to 20,000 token.
If it's disappointing you, it's time to stop checking it.

Sometimes I also see the tokens in my wallet displaying the value, but I cannot find the exchanges it is listing. Obviously the price shown there is fake and not exactly as it was in the exchanges

I often do this when I have free time. Once I found a token that suddenly had a value. But only one token, the rest did not change much, but initially had no value.
To check it free, https://etherscan.io or https://ethplorer.io Which one is more comfortable, for me personally etherscan.io is my favorite right now.

I've been using etherscan for ages now that I feel too familiar with their interfaces although most of the time if the token didnt appear in a wallet like MEW big chance it's just yet another useless coin which market has no volume therefore I rarely look up to my wallet and find some unpopular coins but it's always good to learn new thing everyday.
well, I think etherscan is better if used to see all estimated values from the ethereum wallet owned, including token values, because when using other scanners, the estimated value of assets is sometimes not appropriate.

That is good way to track down your tokens' current price specially for newbies who have already given up with shitty projects they had joined in the past but suddenly coming back to operation and making a little of progress. Better check your wallets from time to time you never know you might get a diamond in a rough from any of the coins you hold.

If I may add, not just those two ETH blockchain explorers that needs to be check, but your wallet as well. Recently, I saw some threads about user asking how to open their MEW wallet because the interface has change. So that will really bring a lot of issues if you haven't check your wallets for a long time because of the long bearish trend of altcoin market.

Its easy to check your ETH wallet for some token valuation, and if ever you have tokens that has a good price then how can you sell them if you are not familiar with the new MEW wallet design?

Very good one.  Honestly I have forgotten some decorative tokens in my imtoken.  Recently I was just checking through them to see if I will see any that will fetch me some amount, fortunately I did.  Immediately I told a friend to do the same. When he gathered those coins together, especially from long ago airdrops he was able to realise some amount of dollars.  I'm not just used to visiting telegrams and other projects social media for update. It's good to check for updates anyway and this is another helpful way.

Both of the mentioned sites are good for checking the token's worth I in particular use Ethplorer but its just my habit and it worked well so I can't complain about it neither can I say much about Etherscan since I haven't used it myself but from the people I know use it I've heard them whine either.

In any case these two tools are important for bounters or people who received airdops to see how much their tokens are worth - anyway worth spreading this.

I thought that there are so many hunters are lazy to check their coins caused by they think if their coins worth nothing right now. I have checked my wallets and some of my old coins have become really valuable in the market this time.

I think etherscan is much better than ethproler caused by it provides simple information.

enjinx.io is another option that shows more details about the coins than ethplorer and etherscan. They provide a full scree view on Token, amount, price and total value. They even provide better details about token smart contract. They provide name and official site link of recognized tokens all in a much friendly GUI. The holders tab is handy to find how distributed the token is.

Yes it is right checking out wallet once in a while because you never can tell which shitcoins that will be remembered by their team and maybe decides to list. After all it doesn't cause anything to just scan the wallet. Also, I think ethplorer is better as it tries to assign or showcase the price of each token and that's the one I have been using since. It's better to check once in a while in order not to miss out a good selling opportunity.

I had absolutely no idea that we can link the etherscan's API to our telegram accounts. Any idea how can one link their address to telegram?
Already mentioned here @ETHtokenExplorer_bot, just following intruction bot.

if you has technical knowledge you can make your own telegram bot. need phyton skill to do that. just google it you be find link instruction.

Sorry to say pal but this is old school way of checking or tracking your tokens, now everyone can give trust wallet a try, every single tokens you have in your wallet will pop up without adding them manually and you will see their price on exchanges too
those all link don't need your private key to check it all, when you use wallet for check it them is risk, any out there has malware inject your phone, bud.

and don't forget once in a while to check it, to check the price update of the token that you have.

Wow thanks I did not know this, glad yhat you share it here and maybe some too are not familiar with this but this will make it easier for us to see if there is some changes or value on our tokens. Truly helpful.

Most of the holders of shitcoin have ignored it and even forgotten and they started something new. I have several tokens/ coins that are still stored in my wallet. Just check once in a while if I want when i have free time.
Yeah, they are keep complaining how being worthless theit tokens but they did not bother to check if there are some that has value and they will be skip with the hype or sudden increase and complained again. Good move is to at least have time to check it once in a while.

Personally, I don't care much about the shitcoins on my wallet
If you have previously participated in a bounty and received several tokens / coins, you must not forget them. Even though they were worthless before, it is possible they will be the same forever. There are some projects that also still want to be developed and continue to develop even though it has been ignored by many people (maybe). Although there are litle opportunities, monitoring ethreum addresses through etherscan is not difficult. Enough 1 time for 1 month I think.

I believe that everyone here knows this way, so I think your share is superfluous. Also I recommend that you follow the telegram channel of the projects because they regularly update the information there, if the token is listed then surely they will have a full notice about it.
Not all, you are not sure cause some newbies who just started to do some bounty are probably not aware of this process at least I referring to those who have not know this. This is also a reminder for some people that forgotting their tokens on their wallets. I know its better to have an update on telegram but we cant deny that some are busy on our real life and dont have chance to look up and back read.

By this way we can do a check for  a short period of time. Or also check on the coinmarketcap maybe the tokens got listed.

I always look at my eth wallet on those two explorers and I happen to get frustrated because lots of projects that were supposed to be promising became a shitcoins now.

Back then I really don't care about the tokens stored in my wallet but when I checked my wallet and saw one of the tokens I have had worth almost $4000 in total, I really regretted it that I did not checked my wallet. I should have better life now because it really is a big amount of money here in our country. Now I'll check my tokens every now and then using those sites.

Happens to me too.  Sometimes we missed this event so we better check our holdings regularly.  Good thing ethplorer and etherscan gives us a valuation of the token even though they are not 100% accurate since often times when I check to sell my token, the price on exchange is way lower than what these 2 sites show.

Some wallets have letting you see your token value. For example imtoken app, if your token is known or have a good volume on market, I think the app recognized its value and its updated live as well. But this is the best solution check frequently your wallet using any of those two site can give you chance or update on the current price of the tokens we are holding. But sometime the value is not real or fake, cause the tokens traded were also been manipulated.

If you know blockfolio they show unrealisitic value for some tokens and when you visit the exchange the real price is very low. This is a good way of checking but its not accurate always.

Ethplorer is better in my opinion because there are average tokens that have prices and everything is visible, but sometimes Ethplorer errors display tokens that are no longer in the wallet
That means etherscan has a better function rather than ethplorer. The problem is when the hunters who owned the token forgot to check it. I think almost everyone in cryptocurrency aware about both ethereum explorer that has already mentioned by OP too.

Yes, I do keep on checking Ethplorer time to time if my tokens are worth anything. But the sad thing is they are worth nothing. Most of the airdropped coins are around a dollar which is not worth exchanging to anything as most of it is lost on the transaction and my old bounty projects are worth nothing. That's why I've went for weekly reward than for a fake promise for future.

Selecting the right bounty is of course a difficult task and that's not a job you excel at as any project can go scam anytime. The best way to insure your profit is to join a campaign that has certainty of getting listed and the rewards being distributed. There are some managers who asks the project to escrow the funds even before starting a bounty and some projects that deals with exchanges even before issuing the ICO.

Etherscan is the easiest way to see the balance of your ETH wallet, but if you still have the access on your wallet then its better to log in to your account and see if you still have the tokens that can give to you profit, its not bad to visit your wallet at least once a month.
