A scarred and broken world rises from the mist of deepest imaginations, a land torn asunder, a civilization in chaos. The land of Chibera still reels from an explosion of natural energy that centuries ago mutated its plants and animals beyond recognition. Few were spared, neither humans, elves, or dwarves. Devastating effects of the explosions caused some creatures to evolve and some to regress, but nearly all were changed forever.
Picture a tree, once noble and grounded, overgrown to the point of encompassing a continent. From its branches and boughs comes mana, a life-sustaining resource very much in demand. The World Tree stands at the center of raging controversy. Technological, economical, and religious factions war over how to best exploit the supply, while some inhabitants need to consume mana just to survive. Battles over crystal mana and natural mana from the World Tree ravage the land day and night.

These different beliefs, along with a power gap, gave rise to different factions, each with unique strengths and weaknesses, fighting to survive, fighting to win, fighting to rule. The passage of time has healed some of the wounds, enough for life to exist, a part of the world will never be the same, a distorted realm looming alongside the vibrant lands of Chibera.
Forge your own path, write your own story, become a hero, a shopkeeper, or just soar as high as you can with no limits. Greatness awaits you. The options are endless. Choose from a diversity of races to play with, battle alongside a legion of heroes and turn the tides of war in your favor. Do you have what it takes to stake out a plot of the land?
