Did you know that just recently it came out that about a million people had already traveled out of Wuhan City before the City was locked down? They feared the criticization of WHO and put the whole world in danger. There is a place for religion and beliefs, sure prayers work but relying on prayers to solve a potential epidemic is unrealistic. Funds through donations could easily be used for making purchases that could prove life-saving to people living in affected areas. It is common knowledge that in Wuhan, food supplies have dwindled, movement is largely restricted and some are under isolation. Donations could go a long way in helping these people.

China needs western medical practice and sanitation practice, those trying to be kind and donate are most likely doing so in vein but the idea that China doesn't need help is a joke. China needs the help of the rest of the industrialized world to help develop a correct treatment method and help with controlling the outbreak, which is happening but not on their local front.
The virus is an endemic which means it is a global issue now. It is not about China taking the forefront now. WHO and other global health organizations have taken the case of the virus up now and many scientists are already working on finding the way forward to the outbreak of the virus. I do not think anyone that donates is doing so in vain so far as they donate to where they know the money will not be looted. I also think making a significant donation in bitcoin to help reduce the spread of this outbreak might probably make China reconsider the banning of crypto.

When this virus start attacted chinese their government have done many things. Like started to build the camp/hospital in just a few days (which can't ever be happened in my country) because that was amazing. This has pointed out that Chinese is rich country. I agree. China is capable of sustaining its own country and people but I think due to the severity of the nCov they have lesser medical staff and struggling to recruit more since this outbreak. They also need education and be aware regarding proper self-care, hygiene and protection of health in general. Yes, China is the second rich country, they don't need money but the medical supplies are not that much because of this coronavirus outbreak, they need help from another country. The second richest country in the world will be struggling economically in just few more months. I do understand prayers are needed for everyone who is suffering from this deadly virus but, with production of many companies being halted and slowly the virus spreading to other locations things will not get quiet bad for global economics.

Well, while it is true that China need some prayers, they also need some assistance (medical assitance), medical practicioners have been exhausted from the situation. I believe, they have so much medical supplies and food supplies there and the only thing we all want is the "end of spreading" this virus. Well, instead of us expecting China to heal and help themselves in the infection they had, we should be helping instead. It doesn't mean if they are rich, they don't need a helping hand from anyone anymore. So with respect to the religion of everyone in here. I think it's time for us to go back to our God in prayer & ask for forgiveness.

In terms of money you are right they are the riches country and i think government have enough funds for this situation how ever if you are the one infected and the government cant help you , of course you still need donation and for foods they need it i guess there are no more store will try to open of you know there are virus that can kill you if you do.
yeah the government have enough money and resource to cover treatment and prevention of the virus but in case the government did not play good part of it, People in china and not government may need some help and I soon had about the Ghana students in Wuhan who are locked in without enough shelter

China definitely needs to put regulations on meats of different animals. Not just China but all those countries who kill every animal to taste its meat.

The don't need prayers, they need to find cure of the virus so that they can treat immediately those who are affected and stop the spread as cases of new victims are appearing every where around the globe. And they have all the tools, they have their own CDC their which is in my opinion far more advanced than US itself.

Bitcoin is a help in that situation in a way, would prayers help stop the outbreak? Will it create an antidote that will cure the virus, no, it is the doctors that will create that. I am not a hater of praying, it is just that it is obvious that a lot of people are already praying for China and as someone that wants to help but can't really help in a way would just give something that they can give or something that can help people.

You have point but for those individuals who are willing to donate some money, they are welcome also especially that the virus has affected already a huge number of people and not all of them will be able to buy the necessary equipment's that they need in this type of situation. May God help china

Yes, China is the second rich country, they don't need money but the medical supplies are not that much because of this coronavirus outbreak, they need help from another country. Of course, prayers help but helping with a donation can help too, Using bitcoin is good because there are no restrictions. Anyone can send anywhere in the world and buy medical supplies from it. Im not an atheist or some sort but they wont really need that "Pray" thing for sure.
Neighboring countries and other as well does show help it might not be on aid or whatsoever but on how to isolate such epidemic.
We know that this would be more severe on days to come if other countries wont really take it seriously.
Vaccines would be surely available soon and thats the only hope we can count on.
