Yes, as you might remember their officially statement stated that China is going to be the super power of world while Pakistan would claim to be the super power of Asia.

No doubt china is on the way, as US went from 13 colonies to 50 states, and UK occupied many countries like sub-continent by just East-India company, and many other countries. In all over the world UK is the only country having no national freedom day, as all other countries got free from UK.

Now let’s talk about china, like East-India company china has devised this plan in the shape of CPEC and ONE BELT AND ONE ROAD to reach similar goal in more sophisticated way. You might have remember the Sea Port construction and running of Sri Lanka by China later on that Sea Port and territory having port captured and held by China.

It is horrifying that a country with such low quality products and services can actually hope to take over. I avoid dealing with anything Chinese. Now that UK is out of the game I think Europe should focus their trades on US (Trump won't rule forever with his trade wars).
Not all products from China have low quality, they have some sort of a double standard. If this product is for EU consumption then it should pass the standard set by UE. As long as their products will serve the functionality then it is already ok, they don't take much time for aesthetics. If you want a product to be made in China, just send them your own QC personnel and you can have the product that you wanted.

Chinese people have an average IQ of about 105. Since Chinese people are generally more intelligent than whites, you should expect for Chinese people to accomplish many things and take over.

Not to mention, there are so many of them, they have to work a lot harder than we do to be recognized.

The history of mankind has always been marked by one Empire ruling almost all the world like Egipt, Rome, the Huns, Spain, France, England, and the United States but The world is no longer unipolar those eras are over. Now many nations have their areas of hegemony like The G-8(G-7 now) or BRICS although it is true that U.S.A have lost dominance over the world is not correct to say that China is now taking over

China is clearly superseding the US as the global power number one
the shift has been happening for quite some time  and maybe you can look at the empty , fully built chinese ghost cities from another perspective now
there are communications and infrastructure, just waiting for the specialists from around the world to be brought in
https://www.businessinsider.com/these-chinese-cities-are-ghost-towns-2017-4

they are investing in ports and the most famous and ambitious Second Great Silk road as well:
https://www.weforum.org/agenda/2017/06/china-new-silk-road-explainer/

China and Iran are appointed as the new global centres, while Iran is way behind the schedule, China has everything it needs to dethrone the US
the time has not come yet, let us wait and see how the things evolve

The victim of China will slowly become at least the whole of Asia and part of Europe. China is taking all sectors of the economy by leaps and bounds. For 10 years, China's production has grown to obscene proportions.
China is no longer just a country, but a leading investor and leader of the world economy.
At least look at their automotive industry.. Yes perhaps many still consider Chinese cars number 2, but you look at their quality today! At the presentations of the leading motor shows on the front pages everywhere Shine Chinese cars and I'm sure with them they will soon conquer the whole of Europe.
This is not the only example. All because of their mentality and quality of government. Be prepared that the United States quietly surrender their positions and not someone namely China.

Or if you look at the Big Picture, after the blip caused by the Industrial Revolution, normal service (Chinese world dominance) is being resumed..

What's next? What's next is China might start an all out war with the United States if Trump didn't comply. Remember they hired recently graduated high school students to make AI weapons for them, including harmful chemicals they can release into the atmosphere that will be fatal to their enemies. It's not just US either. China is also invading the Philippines little by little. In a few years time the Philippines will become a state of China. It's already happening now.

Just a couple of quick thoughts:

- Investing is not controlling. You may participate in an investment and even gain some influence, but that does not mean that you can do anything you like (at least in developed countries)

>>at least in developed countries

But in third world countries, large investments almost always mean control in the political life of the country.
Recently, China has been investing huge amounts of money in Africa, and given the level of corruption there, they will most likely influence certain political decisions of these countries.

One example: There are quite a few regions in Canada and Rusia that would be much more economically active with 5 to 10 degrees more.

5 to 10 degrees!!!!!

The human race will go extinct before we hit 10.   The environment is going to change radically just with a couple degrees.

5 to 10 degrees average per year would make siberia and ample regions of the artic circle habitable. I don´t have sources, is just an idea.

I don´t see why the humans as a species would be dead. Climate has changed quite a few times and humanity has managed to survive. I do agree that it would have mostly dis-likeable consequences for most people.

Chinese people work very hard and try to make their country more strong. It is all about mentality. Many of them dont think just about how to make money and to live for themselves. They are patriotic and think about their homeland.

Does it really matter anyway?  Unless there is a sky fairy, economies will become irrelevant in just a couple decades due to climate change.

Why do you think they will be irrelevant? Different yes.

According to the projection for the future, China will have the world's no. 1 economy by the year 2032

I read a different projection that has them overtaking the US in five years - by 2024.  Smiley

I don't find it surprising. The US owes 1.15 Trillion dollars to China and this will only go up further...

The bad thing is, the countries with which Chinese government is dealing are not clever enough.

Lol, Are you sure about that? I mean fooling people to get into power is no easy task. They got in power through manipulation lets not pretend that 9 years olds are running the country.

I believe that’s an older projection. The current America First policies have had a major impact in this area.

I can believe that.  Trump certainly prioritizes profit over anything else.
