I knew this news would not be too late. No country in this market can not be indifferent in any way. ICOs are now part of this life and the truth. We will see far more ICOs in the future.

This is the thing. People should see one country can't affect the whole crowdfunding system. People find a way to contribute any ICO even this is illegal. They change IP, they change identity etc. Countries can't control the whole system by doing reagulations or bans for ICO fundings.

The government decides and if they want to see what effect banning this has or allowing that, then they fully believe that it is in their right. It may be that there is a smaller and smaller effect on the outside world each time that China does something now.

There was never a doubt, and that is true for most of the people here I would hope. China plays around and tries this and that to see the effect that it is going to have it may not even be a negative thing that they are trying to do, just that to them their whole society, economy and country is there for whatever purpose.

I think right now there are many rumors about Bitcoin banning in China. Nothing is predictable because many people start speculating a lot of rumors through their twitter but there is no specific reason behind banning.

Bitcoin is banned now in China. All the exchanges are closed.

But I heard that they will able to use bitcoin once again. I think after they made some regulation for bitcoin.
Of course it will lead into positive value for bitcoin on next month. Who knows it will reach $ 8000 ...

i seriously doubt that news is true though!
a lot of different countries are banning all the ICOs and it would really be surprising to see one country like China change their positions like this. there is a possibility that the Chinese government does a very serious regulation for these ICOs and make them register everything they do with the government before they even allow them to start their fund raising, but the article was not so good about this and i don't think it can even be done.

This news is dated from September... The Exchanges in China are closed now. We need to wait that Exchanges reopen if they reopen or not. We don't know what is their plan.

Looks like good news for the China ICO market (and ICO market in general). Regulations mean less scam crap and more stability.
Its is not surprising at all they are on top of the most plenty of bitcoin miners and bitcoin users. I think it was all planned and now they are getting back on track. It is good for all bitcoiners.

Well, they have said already when they were banning ICOs and exchanges that the ban is temporary, only until they prepare some legal framework for it. o it's not surprising that they are lifting the ban now.
I would be actually very surprised if they made the ban permanent, because they would loose a lot of money and business opportunities.

Everyone seems to be going like oyeah great news China, and I'm sitting here like... ''Totally didn't see that coming.'' Unethical immoral move causing allot of people to lose money for their own benefit. Manipulation at it's finest. In my opinion they could have kept their ban on ICO's it would only stimulate the crypto envoirment to find ways around this and develop even further beyond government regulation and laws trying to control it.

This is indeed good news. After all this uncertainty, China make it clear to regulate ICO and not to ban. By regulating, investors will feel safer to invest in China ICO. Hopefully the market can recover fast after this news.
I have also heard the news. Looks like the banning is going to over soon! They are gonna resume ICOs after establishing licensing regulations and they just intended to keep investors safe. The innovation in the Blockchain space will never stop. BTW, it was an important step indeed. Things are going to get better soon.

Boxmining usually has really good information.

He reads the Chinese forums and reports news on them.

His info is fair and honest. I expect him to report on the situation in a few hours.

Rumors everywhere and every single person is saying something different.

Some say China is banning exchanges and that's why the price is crashing on their side.
And now you're telling us they're planning to allow ICOs "again" ?

Can someone say what's going on truely without adding on his own opinions/hopes/wishes etc.
Even translating Chinese pages directly is not working properly as we don't know an official side that speaks the law.

That's a good thing for crypto supporters from China now they will be assured not being scam since their government will regulate and ask for proper document and requirements to ensure that the project will not turned into scam.

It was always to be expected that the ban would be temporary until further controls could be added surrounding ICOs. If this is true then it is good that has been confirmed and should ease some of the uncertainty surrounding the issue.

Yes the ban was just temporary.
Thankfully because China is a big actor in cryptocurrency. A permaban would have a big incidence on the market.

It is difficult to say. Today's price has dropped a lot due to a possibility of total ban in China.

If this news is true, this is really good for the cryptocurrency market.
But seems like a fake news to me since i cant find this anywhere when i search on google.
Why would the market be down after the news that ICO ban in China is temporary and will be soon lifted?

Usual manipulation from China, we don't really care about their ban. They can ban every single thing about crypto currencies. It would be their loss, not ours. It's not a children game, they must be consistent about decisions.

I agreed, they make the market crash by announcing they are banning ICO, then change their stance. Now the market has crash again because of another news saying that they will shutdown local exchanges. 2 negative news coming from them in a span of 5 days. For me this is a total manipulation and someone from behind is cashing out big time.

I wish we weren't so reliant on their cash injections though.

This news sounds great for the crypto market. Today we saw a Price dump on BTC because of some fake news. It seems like the complete market is really really nervous because of china. My opinion is that we needed now many many of these good news like you posted. The otherside is you can buy now some cheap Tokens from market ;-)
