What do you mean far away from the rest of the world? Countries are still near Taiwan and China even if they battle on seas. Besides just because you are geographically far from the war doesn’t mean it will not have any effect on you. Trades from both countries will most likely decrease if they are too busy fighting each other. Economies will affected as well and stock markets would most likely be impacted. Refugees from Taiwan will have to seek out other countries even before this breaks out and most asian countries will be where they will flock towards to most likely.

Mate, go watch a movie. This is a war with real life people that will affect their real lives and real families. Just because you are not in danger doesn’t mean you should act so indifferent from what others would be going through. Already world is facing economic problems including developed countries so it will create big loss to world’s economies. War is not the solution to any problem!

The US and China are already fighting proxy wars in Ukraine and Russia war. The cost and effect of the war in Ukraine are overwhelming, and we shouldn't wish for another war. There is no indication that China wants to invade Taiwan. China can apply other means to help Taiwan succumb to its policies without invasion. China can use its military to isolate Taiwan, impose sanctions to cripple its economy, or even install politicians that are loyal to the Chinese Communist Party in the Taiwanese government. The world is a global village. A conflict in a region, no matter how far, will have consequences on other countries, including yours. Wishing for war in a country because you want to watch the battles is inhuman. War leads to loss of lives and properties. If you don't wish war in your country, don't pray to have it in another location because you are not more important than people in warring nations.
