You can't really kill Bitcoin, a few banks not accepting it isn't going to do much. Asia generally has capital controls so any way for the rich to get their money out will be wanted, plus china and Asia are by nature savers and investors.
I live in Korea and just like in the West the news about Bitcoin has been super negative and has warned the majority off.

China recently cracked down on BTC, so that was a big punch in the gut to its growth there.

answer is no. it used to be that there was more buying in china than the rest of the world combined, about a month ago or so.. but not these days. it's still a major exchange though.

Looking at fiatleak, it seems the only countries buying are the U.S. and China.
I didn't think the Chinese were buying as much BTC as Americans, but unless I'm reading the Fiat Leak site wrong it appears the Chinese are buying more BTC then the U.S.A.
