Well, with the current system it lets citizens grow to some extent, much more than in Mao's time. When communism was established in China by Mao, what it caused was hunger, death and misery, as always. When Mao died, Deng Xiaoping, opened the economy, that is he made it more capitalist.

In summary we can say that in terms of political system China is still communist but in economics it practices market socialism, retaining great state power but allowing individuals to own the means of production. That is why there are so many millionaires in China, that is why it has an economy that will soon surpass that of the USA, etc.

You do not have to look at things from one side only, you have to look from all sides. Communism is a cruel authoritarian system and it is not the best system for humans, but is the capitalist system on the other hand the better system?
This question will be answered very differently from one person to another. The poor will prefer the communist system more than the capitalist system, while the rich will surely choose the capitalist system because it serves their interests.
In my opinion, all these regimes have good and bad sides, the communist system is not completely bad and the capitalist system is not completely good, there is no human system that achieves the utopia as people wish in their dreams.

Modern-day democracy and communism becomes the traditional dictatorship, because they can do anything what they want and there is no freedom of speech for the people not only in China, its almost similar everywhere. Humans are their own threat and surely the humanity will ends due to the humans.

Is it communism? I think China is an oligarchy.

china has actually grown alot.
maybe you missed alot of history but china is the largest manufacturing industry in the world.. more progressive than america which is why america uses china for manufacturing

maybe you forgot other snippets of modern history. where america locks up mexicans and native americans and sterilises them

china is more wealthier then america
if you priced all goods and incomes based on a 'breadloaf' value or a price of fish value.
china value is way higher than america.

america hides this value by tweaking the exchange rate in dollars towards us favour
but if you look at true value and measure it against true gross product(PRODUCT NOT DOLLAR). china is already far ahead

america want to jump ahead with QE of creating a few more trillion out of thin air to further hide the true GDP in their dollar sinkpit
lets use a simple unit calculation
if chinese have a min wage of 18cny/h and america has a min wage of $7.50/h
then each cny would be 2.5x of a dollar
but the FX exchange wants to make it 8x diffrence between cny and dollar
.....
anyway. china has more autonomous zones than the US. and has progressed more in the last 30 years than america has in the last 60 years

It was a forceful conviction for everyone to follow specific rule without letting someone grow. The goal of this is equality to all, but they be at the top controlling how things work. More like dictatorship for me

Communism doesn't allow anyone to grow. Chinese communism also allows for Uighur muslims to be thrown into concentration camps and forcibly sterilized. But, is it really communism at that point? Seems more authoritarian to me.

China will be the #1 threat to first world democracies within the next 10-20 years. Just watch.

Chinese communism does not allow individuals to grow, it only allows an economy to grow which is only the Chinese government thats why I think that Chinese communism is not a model which a human deserves. Is this OK?
