How U.S. Economic Warfare Provoked Japan's Attack on Pearl Harbor

Many people are misled by formalities. They assume, for example, that the United States went to war against Germany and Japan only after its declarations of war against these nations in December 1941. In truth, the United States had been at war for a long time before making these declarations. Its war making took a variety of forms. For example, the U.S. navy conducted "shoot [Germans] on sight" convoys — convoys that might include British ships — in the North Atlantic along the greater part the shipping route from the United States to Great Britain, even though German U-boats had orders to refrain (and did refrain) from initiating attacks on U.S. shipping. The United States and Great Britain entered into arrangements to pool intelligence, combine weapons development, test military equipment jointly, and undertake other forms of war-related cooperation. The U.S. military actively cooperated with the British military in combat operations against the Germans, for example, by alerting the British navy of aerial or marine sightings of German submarines, which the British then attacked. The U.S. government undertook in countless ways to provide military and other supplies and assistance to the British, the French, and the Soviets, who were fighting the Germans. The U.S. government also provided military and other supplies and assistance, including warplanes and pilots, to the Chinese, who were at war with Japan.1 The U.S. military actively engaged in planning with the British, the British Commonwealth countries, and the Dutch East Indies for future combined combat operations against Japan. Most important, the U.S. government engaged in a series of increasingly stringent economic warfare measures that pushed the Japanese into a predicament that U.S. authorities well understood would probably provoke them to attack U.S. territories and forces in the Pacific region in a quest to secure essential raw materials that the Americans, British, and Dutch (government in exile) had embargoed.2

Many many points against the United States and her allies, indeed. But it is silly how this spokesman conveniently does not mention the atrocities that have been also committed by Russia and China during their history.

For example, the Chinese government is known to be brutal against the people of the Tibet who resisted the annexation to China and also the way minorities are treated there. The United States has done bad things, indeed, but China is not a holy state to show off morality.

Lots of talk now going around about China attacking the United States homeland as a result of interference in foreign affairs.  It's quite possible that for many Americans, this war could mean a change in their way of life that they will never get back.  If China attacks the United States as a result of Joe Biden's destructive leadership, the world may never be the same.  Instead of unifying for things like becoming a multiplanetary species, we're going to be spending our resources and talent on killing each other.  It's a shame, but things are already taking shape.  Elon Musk has been warned to stop pushing Covid theories and I wouldn't doubt if Tesla has it's activities in China negatively effected as a result.  WWIII is taking shape before our eyes, and unless you think all of our trains are suddenly unable to stay on the tracks, it's already here.

Propaganda, or is the Chinese press secretary lying?

__
Rhetorical question: "Why is Russia a main terrorist country?"

The Chinese press secretary spoke the truth but added propaganda.China, Russia, US and NATO cannot deny that they are not actively involved in violating the sovereignty of nations and intruding in their internal affairs. These nations have dirctly or indirectly engaged or supported the invasion of a country. Therefore, accusing only the US and NATO of these crimes is a form.of propaganda.
China cannot also deny that it has always supported Russia's quest to intrude into nation's internal affairs. China might not be openly supplying arms to Russia but when you help a nation to invade sanctions, you are showing a sign of alignment.

"Wang Wenbin: The China-Russia relationship is built on the basis of non-alignment, non-confrontation and non-targeting at any third party. It is a factor conducive to world peace and stability, which is no cause for concern. What is truly concerning is the destructive role the US has played to peace and stability in the world.

The US is the No.1 warmonger in the world. The US was not at war for only 16 years throughout its 240-plus years of history. The US accounted for about 80 percent of all post-WWII armed conflicts.

The US is also the No.1 violator of sovereignty and interferer in the internal affairs of other countries. According to reports, since the end of WWII, the US has sought to subvert more than 50 foreign governments, grossly interfered in elections in at least 30 countries and attempted assassination on over 50 foreign leaders.

The US is also the No.1 source of antagonism and bloc confrontation. The US-led NATO is responsible for wars on Afghanistan, Iraq and Syria that killed more than 900,000 and created 37 million refugees. It has also made the Eurasia continent a less stable place. The impact of US-initiated Quad and AUKUS on Asia-Pacific security and stability also calls for vigilance.

As long as US hegemonism and belligerence still exists, the rest of world will hardly get the peace it deserves."
