Most products are made in china now but some aren't terrible. Some work for a long peroid of time and just is better than other choices available.

Some are good, some are bad.

China is the most powerful creator on the world, some of their products are not in good quality but most of them are and we all are using their stuff and all the world does us their workers. I can’t say that they are not good at all for us but these days they have to work hard on stuff as gaming chairs, phones to bring us good quality of it hopefuly.

Not all products are junks, they make categories of each product like one product make for different countries, like for rich countries its quality will be outstanding, for mediocre countries make normal quality, and for poor countries make low quality as for cheap.

china make everything
the labour is low. but if they have to use good materials. and then send it to a testing facility test multiple materials to find the one that gets good quality then that adds on costs.

so when the op says 'buy cheap' he obviously is getting the crap chinese stuff thats not gone through alot of testing and redeveloping.. so its just not the good chinese stuff

i guarantee you if something is made in UK/US and its cheap. dont expect quality.

some stuff that has been around for a while people can copy and know whats good stuff without going through their own testing/developing procedures. so they can get it cheaper. which is why when you something never seen before its premium and later batches get cheaper.

and some thats new but cheap is bad quality in many cases

Some of their items are junk. I bought items from Aliexpress like bracelet and they are totally a piece of crap. Some items are not junk too. I bought bike balls which I got some good deal from Alibaba.com. I also got toys and some of them are worth it. But it takes 30 days to arrive. LOL.
Depend on the quality of their product and i believe that depend also in your countries policies, because there are some classifications as i have experienced .

There are 1 kind of items that i compared both from china, the first one is really a crap and the next are Good.
Meaning there are other that you will really hate and some will love.

Not true.
Most of the Chinese products are legit.
Just have a look at the brands that are distributed all over the world. Xiaomi has the best products in low prices. And all brands create their products in China so all of them can be considered as Chinese.

in fact by now almost everything is produced in china, even the big fashion brands and cell phones, but in my opinion it is not worth spending a lot for a branded product you can spend little (I'm talking about mobile phones) buy a Chinese phone and modify it in a way which has the same performance as a much more expensive phone is the best choice for me
Is China Phone an be Modified?sorry but most of china phones are having an issue shortly after purchasing ,there are some apps that is not applicable in their version i don't know if it was intended or isolated cases but like the Unit i bought for my Son now that he needs to use in Online class the apps ZOOM is not functioning good in terms of Audio.i don't know if someone has the same experience also?

China products are cheap and has low quality though its affordable to buy. Most of cheap products here (dress, gadgets, toys you name it) came from china but many people still buy because of the price compared to expensive products in malls.

Is it the Chinese strategy basically? Exporting very cheap low quality products, while using the money to import high quality products from the rest of the world?

The concept of Chinese products is all about high turnover - if something brakes, just buy it new. Just looking on the most stores in my city focusing on the cheapest low end products. And unfortunately the consumers fall for it.

I think most supplier and manufacturer are from China, even the famous or expensive brands like Nike, Apple, Canon, Adidas, etc because the items that are being used are cheaper in China. It is why most products nowadays are made from China, even their products are not durable enough they are still cheap.
the smallest capital and a large profit is the slogan for all companies that have factories in China...
the majority of the world's population is only concerned with price and not quality, and China offers cheap raw materials and low employee salaries to attract investors to go there, my advice is for important items such as cellphones and vehicles, don't buy Chinese products because they are at very risk of being damaged quickly.
If you are going to buy an electronic good then it is very rare to find a product which is not made form chinese and as you said every cellphone parts are made in China so no matter how much you are paying there will be a Chinese product present in it.But when it comes to Automobile they are still crap and most of their brands just copy the international car models.Even you can buy Rolls Royce copy for few thousands. Grin

They copy them because they make them there... When you say don't buy Chinese, most of the time, you ARE buying Chinese. And then they easily siphon out whatever technique, design, trade secret the plant there does and gets spread to the Chinese companies. Ie: you had a workforce working years for Ford, Chevrolet whatever, Trump got angry and made them pack and return. What do you think happens to that workforce? They already know a lot...

Globalization: The genie is out of the bottle. There is no going back to the 50ies anymore. No amount of protectionism can make America make things again, because if they do, they are too expensive, and are not as good as, say, Europeans. Except the rare exception like Tesla, but look at what talents Elon brought to that company and how he lowered costs (robots). See, the American wage is just too high, that's why Americans don't make things anymore; at least not in mass quantities like the Chinese and other Asians can.

When was the last time you checked where your product was made? Apple "Designed in LA" garbage writing to not admit they made it at suicide factory Foxconn?

Correct, with Chinese products price alone doesn't cut it. You have to do your research and recognize the good from the bad, or have a very good trusted merchant. For large orders is always wise to ask for samples before committing. Often competition is fierce and some either take shortcuts or do more effort to keep their customers. You might be spoiled to a society and State that keeps you "safe", but step out of the borders of your country and you might find yourself in another planet. Even what you considered "junk" in your own country (perhaps at Walmart) is luxury elsewhere. And still. the Chinese Walmart imports expensive foreign products, or top notch Chinese ones. Its the place to get expensive stuff...

So yeah, its pointless to say Chinese products are this or that, its both and neither. You must not pass judgement because company a made product x bad. Heck, often company a can also make a great product y. But you can try and pick companies the same way you do at home; its only harder since they tend to have funny Chinese names, but those do matter to some of their owners (not all). There is also samples of State owned, mixed owned, or simply heavily involved companies. And there is the worldwide known coop called Haier, state based Chery, etc.

Until Trump leaves office, Americans might have to look elsewhere, but for the rest of us there is plenty of choice, including BAD choice, so pay attention.

Most of the products made in my country are also from China, but some are good products and some other products are very bad. As you know that there are several levels for these industries, the first elites are very good, while the rest of the levels are bad, and these bad levels are those that are exported to our countries.

I've just bought an Alfa AWUS036H Wireless Adapter, and I'll pick it up later today. The product should be manufactured in Taiwan, and I'm hoping that I have the correct version. It seems that there are a lot of fake Chinese copies being sold on the internet. It is sometimes difficult to determine if you are being sold a fake, and price does not seem to be a useful guideline.

The old saying "You get what you pay for" isn't always true. Sometimes you can pay a lot of money for products that are rubbish. Governments and local authorities are very prone to do this. However you need to pay a fair price if you want quality. Of course, you can find some bargains in the clearance items, often you can save 70 or 80% of the original purchase price.

Cheap products are junk, sometimes we buy something that costs 10x less than normal, and well, lower price less quality.

The quality must be according to the price, because they manufacture in the bulk and people require at lesser price or due to competition from other places, they produce at the least prices gives them no choice other to use the substandard products to manufacture it. Thus, accordingly if it works for long consider yourself lucky or just use it and if stops working just throw it.

Pretty sure you still have a lot of Chinese products in your house even if you don't know it.

I recently bought a "German" condenser microphone and found out that "assembled in china" text

The problem is not the china, problem is that people don't want to work in manufacture.

The range of quality for Chinese products goes from cheap and disposable up to expensive indistinguishable from certain brands in terms of quality. Obviously, the cheaper stuff tends to be known more, since its what people aims for more often than not.

The reason is simple: They do manufacture for the expensive brands as well. So they CAN, and DO sell expensive quality things as well. Well, usually the expensive stuff is still cheaper than the quality brands anyway, but not as cheap as the really cheap stuff.

Ideally people would have a choice, but often do not, unless they buy direct and already know what they are buying.

There are also shameless merchants that buy the cheap things and try to sell it like the good quality brands (and often imitating the brand name too).

The truth is, it depends in what you buy. Just because its made in China doesn't mean that is automatically crap.

For example i have a cheap Huawei cdma "feature" (not smart) phone from 2007, i just wanted something basic back then. Surprisingly, it still works, with the original battery which is mad. Sure its charge doesn't hold long nowdays, but its disturbingly working even after 13 whole years. I remember having a couple of similar Siemens phones die on me like 2~3 years after being in use. I also has some Samsung i bought after that didn't last even 4 years, one day it went off to never turn back on again, just like the Siemens. Of course i know people whose smartphones weren't so great. Also i have some Phillips led lamps that have been going for a decade with nearly daily 8hrs+ continuous use, while the more recent Chinese led bulbs i had already one die on my under a year. Of course the Phillips was like $60 while the Chinese isn't even $3.

I know for a fact that in the 70ies-80ies Japan had a similar reputation, but unlike China they never wanted to make cheap disposable stuff and currently their products are among the best. And yet what they sell in Japan is on a whole different level, than the same thing they sell abroad. It is also possible to see certain Chinese things sold in China being better than the (nearly) same thing exported.

Most of the "expensive" brands literally manufacture things abroad, often China, or Vietnam or similar poor country where they can pay miserable wages. In theory branded products have a better quality control, but that doesn't mean you cannot find a simillar quality product from a Chinese brand.

Yes, this is a common perception today, everything that is Made in China is junk. And according to an article,

Quote
China produces about 80% of the world’s air-conditioners, 70% of its mobile phones and 60% of its shoes. The white heat of China’s ascent has forged supply chains that reach deep into South-East Asia. This “Factory Asia” now makes almost half the world’s goods.

So always everything that we used today has some form of signature coming from China. But it is still 50/50, you're lucky if you got something that is made in China that will last for years, LOL.

Nowadays nothing lasts for years.Capitalists produce products that last for 1-2 years, and then you have to buy another product.Long lasting products means less products sales, which is considered to be bad for the industry.
Products made in China are cheap, which means they are made using cheap components and cheap labor.

Most manufacturers are from China because they have cheaper labor and nearer to their distribution. We can't do anything with it but if you have any means to check a quality product from other countries and you can avoid China-made products.

I think that will depend on how we use that product. If you buy some product, and the product is damaged, we can not judge that it is not good. I think nowadays, the producing in mass production is used robotic technology, so maybe there is one or two product that does not pass the quality control. Still, the employee forgets to eliminate that product with the other. I think that it is normal to see that one of that product is a break, and unfortunately, we are the end-user that used that product. But we can complain to the store that sells that product, and maybe we can get replaced with the other product.

China is way ahead in terms of production import and export most of the products are manufactured in china and that they are processed everyone was surprised initially because the costs were so cheap i think china gives diversity to answer market needs. If there was no marketplace for cheap low-quality products because people would pay a touch more for quality china would stop producing cheap products and specialise in improved quality.

Mostly products now are made in china because of their cheap labor fees that's why most productions are there made of and i cannot blame them for that.  Some of them are sub standards because it's cheap price and that's what you get of it though. There are branded products are also made in china but doesn't mean that the materials are also made in china, they just assembled there because of mass production of china can provide.

Even the most leading brands in anything are now made in China. Everything is made in China. Let me exaggerate a bit more and guess that there is not anymore a single house all over the world without something in it which is made in China. As the joke goes, god made the world and the rest was made in China. Hell, even relationships are made in China. LOL!

China, which is the world's manufacturing center in production management, is considered important in cutting production costs. Some of the world's big brands such as Microsoft Apple, Samsung, and thousands of other international brands are using the global supply chain strategy in China to improve production and distribution costs in the Asian region. Its innovation and engineering remain American even though it is not made in America (but made in China). The existence of an economic scale makes the price of a product competitive. Apparently, China's dragon tail strategy has rolled players in the international world and created dependency.

I think that as long as the market still accepts low quality Chinese products, then China will continue to produce them. But if the market wants even high quality products, I think China will meet market demand. And of course, all use a profit and loss calculation.

Well, it is what Made in China is. But you know what, even most of us are already aware of their low quality products, many people still choose it with eyes closed. Why? Simply because of cheap price. That's what I usually noticed particularly on my fellow men, they give more priority on the money they can save the moment they avail the product and not the money they can save in the long run. What a wrong mindset. Just like the saying, quality over quantity.

Hell, even relationships are made in China. LOL!
Don't be so bitter, maybe you're just unfortunate when it comes to love. Just wait and chill, I'm sure you'll meet your Forever soon. Do not choose a Chinese to be sure jk Grin.

There is nothing new about this kind of product.

Right now most of the items it came from china we all know that china right now is one of the richest countries because of copying the product of another country they don't want to import any product on them instead they are all in exporting their products.

Even they don't want this china already conquers the other country because of their debt and we all know if you cannot get those paid the problem now is you will accept china manage your country.

The reason why there are a lot of people want to use the items and export came from China is because the cheaper the price but it has cons, we all know this tag line "the cheaper the price the cheaper the quality " so expect this as always.

My bold. It looks like the relevant common factor here is that you are buying cheap stuff, rather than that you're buying Chinese stuff.
Most products are made in China.
Some products are good, some are bad. Cheap products tend to be worse than expensive products, for obvious reasons.
If you buy cheap products that are no good, chances are they are from China.
Doesn't mean China is the problem.

Even the most leading brands in anything are now made in China. Everything is made in China. Let me exaggerate a bit more and guess that there is not anymore a single house all over the world without something in it which is made in China. As the joke goes, god made the world and the rest was made in China. Hell, even relationships are made in China. LOL!

iPhones are made in China, but I guess some people consider them to be junk.
Apple is a multinational cooperation, that means it carries out and supervises operation and production in at least one country apart from its home country. It is registered in California but the process of producing its products take place in different countries.
There are two main processes to the making of a phone; the assembling and manufacturing, I may also add the designing process to make it three as it's a key process;

Companies like Apple outsource for components of their products from foreign manufacturers, they get their screen, battery and camera all from different countries. Their suppliers also change with new designs.
The assembling is also outsourced and takes place in different factories, most of which are located in China. One of such factories in Zhengzhou has been renamed 'iPhone City' by the locals and employs hundreds of thousands of workers daily.
The pack of the product would usually say that it was designed in California, so I would assume that here is where the blueprint for the products come from and it coordinates the other processes.

China may be involved in a part of the manufacturing and a bulk of the assembling due to cheaper and available labour, but iPhones are technically not made there.

I think most supplier and manufacturer are from China, even the famous or expensive brands like Nike, Apple, Canon, Adidas, etc because the items that are being used are cheaper in China. It is why most products nowadays are made from China, even their products are not durable enough they are still cheap.

Since the labourers are very cheap their due to largest populated country so they can manufacturer the stuff at low cost. Also, the government policy might be favourable to produce the goods in bulk and sell at lower cost or might be a compulsion by government since they are communist country so and not a democratic way. In order now to make at certain rate the manufacturer might have to go for low quality inputs in order to survive and make some money as well.

Anyway, be careful. People used to say the same thing about products made in Japan, and now if you want quality, you get it from Japan.

In fact it is, you've always realized Chinese products are stigmatized long ago.

There are things and factors that cannot be revealed here why "Made in China" can be categorized as disposable and worst, they don't want to be defeated, with other countries' products, in the end imitating Western designs in general, believe it or not, the fact is so.
No wonder the US and other foreign countries, 80 percent prefer electronic products, automotive, made in Japan, no doubt quality, etc.
Indeed, China today can be titled with its expertise in processing fake KW products.
Almost all countries have fallen victim to the "made this china" label that's how great it is to make products, cheap, for smart people, expensive but durable and of high quality.

Some of my products from China were good, some were bad. I just push it out as something luck related tbh. It's like a lottery whenever I buy some stuff from China, ones that were directly from them anyway. Still, I think it's just a matter of how much you're putting out when buying them? I mean, there are products that cost half of the original and people still buy it and yet they argue about its quality, when in fact they bought it cheaper than the supposedly original one.

Though China produces junk products, they also produce some quality goods especially when the manufacturer and supplier uses quality goods. They tend to be more expensive though, but if you were buying, might as well buy the one that is greater in quality. Not that I'm disagreeing that china produces junk products though.

Though Chinese products are junk, they're market leaders in exporting and manufacturing. Countries try as many possibilities to compete with the low priced manufacturing, but none were able to stand against them.

People's mind has been understood my the marketers, for what you pay for a TV in other country, you can get a TV with all the features available at a very minimal cost. Through this buyer gets profit out of the pricing. This is being used as an opportunity to widen the market of exporting. We can't state it as complete junk, because just with the Chinese products majority of the middle class people have all household appliances.

Nearly everything is made in China these days, even Volvos. There is cheap Chinese junk and then there is cheap Chinese junk with slightly better quality control and 200%+ margins - it's really up to you which one you buy.

Good luck finding phones or computers that are not made in China or from Chinese components.

Anyone can post link here if they find something that is not Chinese and thinks it is a quality product .... will add link to top post if it's the real deal.

Almost everything is made in China already. They have been building all the products for decades, don't you think they've perfected the things they've been building?
China is the future. Hard to believe it but its just where things are going.  From cars, mobile phones and anything that just about as innovative as blockchain they've made things. They do have NEO and Tron and most specially Binance.
