Corrupt society gives birth to corrupt politicians. There is no way you can separate politicians from the society because these leaders are elected from our surroundings. During conversations you hear people who complain about bad government say that if they can gain political power they would do the same. Immediately you are elected in government, all your family members, friends and community members want you to get rich quick. They can even ostracize you from the community if you refuse to steal and bring to them. Any society that glorifies money than intergrity will always be rules by criminals.

The solution is to have strong institutions. Let there be separation of powers between all the arms of government. The judiciary should be independent and convicted public fund looters should be punished. The legislature should check the excesses of the Executive and vice versa. The people should shun politics of money and don't sell their vote. Vote buying

Choosing a credible leader during election season is no hard in any given country. What you have to do is to check the previous records of that individual, if he has been a government official, you can check promises made if it was fulfilled, to know if he a he/she is a person that is true to their words. In most cases i always prefer technocrats instead of a seasoned politician, because they are people that have made impact in the society without being in government position so whenever they run for a political position, I always prefer them to a season politician that is running for the same office.

There are people with proven intergrity that are supposed to occupy the leadership positions in countries, especially the underdeveloped third world countries but somehow they never get elected. You have to be a crook or you're ready to conform with the corrupt system before you are handpicked to rule, meaning that elections don't really count in these backward countries, they will rig it in broad daylight and there's nothing that the good citizens can do about it. You can protest and do whatever you want but it won't change the reality that it's the corrupt politicians that will always finds themselves to the top.

It seems as if all the politicians are the same because most times the ones with good intentions never makes it to the top and there's also the issue of the good ones getting to the top and turning bad. Because of the synergy of the corrupt ones at the top, it's not easy to eradicate bad governance. Developed countries are better off in terms of democracy than the developing and underdeveloped countries where corruption is the order of the day.

Most politicians are corrupt in some way or at the very least, self serving. Very few of them care on bit about their people. They just do whatever lines their pockets or what their masters tell them to. There are no heroes in politics, if you make peace with that you will live a happier life. I guess you should vote for whoever is the least bad for your needs.

unfortunately, the cost of getting an expression of interest form and buying an election form in some part of the world have been made really expensive to the point the average individual can not even afford it and so, the people that can afford to contest for most of the top offices are those that are already in the system and that might not have a good heart of coming into the position to sort out the needs of the people.

choosing a leader in this era is just based on interest in most instance and generally, the concept of who is the best option among the people that are contesting for a particular office is mostly that individual that you feel has what it takes to meet your needs or whose policies or promises aligns with your aspiration. like the united state election that was just concluded, the decision to support kamala or trump was basically built on the fact that some of their supporters did so because they were of the same party line while others voted for their choice candidate because the candidate was able to align well with their vision.  it takes more than a single person to deliver good governance so we cant be too sure that a said candidate is the best of them. it is just best that we try to know what each of them have as a plan for the people and look out for how they have performed in previous offices and then we can tell if they will be able to do so in this time.

I have lost interest in voting and politics at large. In my country, the common man has been defeated and the common man will continue to be the slaves of the politicians. The politicians deliberately keep them poor in order to continue to manipulate them.

When there's bad leadership in a particular tenure of government, the common man will wait for the next election to change leadership. But in my country now, whether you vote or not, a predetermined winner must emerge. So, they aren't accountable to the people because they bought their ways into the seat.

The problem with the world today is that the system is broken. Democracy, which I think is still the best form of government, is so flawed that people are exploiting it.
The party system is a problem in the voting process because people have no choice but to vote for somebody from one party. 

Ultimately, I blame the voters, if the voters in a party reject a candidate because he's not good enough, or he's too corrupt to hold a post, then the party will have no choice but to look for a competent and non-corrupt candidate to represent them, but the voters don't care, they only care about a candidate who can win the election. As long as the candidate is a good politician and charismatic and can charm people into supporting and voting for him, nobody cares. This is what keeps the country getting worse. This is the situation in my country.
Most times people just look for the lesser evil among all the candidates and it shouldn't be so.

I think in every country there are millions of people who are giving vote the people who are not serving to the country and they are not eligible for the seat like PM and CM and upper post of government and they use this seat for their personal benefit.

My question is who is best for our economy and what kind of person who should vote for the CM or PM because I have no more interestee in politics but I could not avoid politians because they are running all countries of the World.

What will be the future of the country in which dirty politicians are running the country and country is going down and down and now that country has billions of dollars to pay and government is taking more debt from the IMF and what will be future of us?

What is the solution of that because I am confused to which person should I vote because nobody is sincere to my countr?
