Many of the basics in both forex and crypto trading apply, but if you've got more experience in one type of market than another, stick to the market you already know and improve on that. Things don't behave the same way all the time depending on what you're trading, and you'll mostly be learning about these little details from experience. I would definitely say forex is much more technical than crypto most of the time, though.

Crypto and forex trading both of different strategy in individual platform. I think forex is the biggest trading platform in the whole world which is trillion dollars market place. But personally i think forex is more difficult and risky than crypto trading. In the forex your initial money turn into zero and which is never recover without new deposit. I think crypto is more familiars and more possibility to profit here. But crypto is also high risky investment. I am going with crypto trading and i have no experienced in the forex trading platform.

before getting to know cyrpto I was involved in forex trading, then I switched to crypto trading, I think it's the same as forex trading turns out different, crypto is more difficult to predict and the movements are often irregular, for those of you who trade forex, it's more convenient forex or crypto,?
if I personally prefer analyzing in forex trading, but in the trading system it prefers crypto trading, I hope someday the crypto exchange will include various national currencies, so it not only provides crypto exchange but also exchange money between countries.
You are right, cryptocurrency is more difficult and more technical than Forex, and analysis works better for Forex than cryptocurrencies, if you are a guru in trading cryptocurrency, I don’t think the guru should find it difficult to trade Forex especially in the aspect off using technical analysis to forecast price.

The very big advantage that cryptocurrency trading has over Forex is that the profit that you get on it is much more bigger and larger than Forex, and in cryptocurrency, it would be impossible for your trade to zero provided that you are not on margin trade, so if you are having a normal trade and your trades are not going well, you can just decide to turn it to an holding till the coin recovers again for you to Pick up from where you left it.

Crypto is much more fun to trade because of all the volatility and it's 24/7 nature. Unlike stocks which only trade 8 hours a day, 5 days a week, and no holidays, crypto is a different beast which can make you rich beyond your dreams, or can grind your portfolio to dust.

So for me, it's much more convenient to trade forex because of the stability and pace, however, it's hella more fun to risk trading in crypto.

Honestly, i am not try Forex yet. Because, my friend told me he must learn 1 year about it first before start trading. That is why i jump on crypto, because i think it is more simple than forex. Especially if see a lot of people lose in forex trading (although i know if a lot others can make a living with forex trading).

Many things must be learned because they both have similarities and differences.
I prefer crypto even though it is still amateur, but if one day you have to learn forex maybe it should be tried.
we must try both then compare. that's very fair.

Forex and crypto trading are quite similar to each other only it matters about the risk and currency involves. Crypto trading is riskier than of Forex trading but if think in terms of gaining percentage, it gladly to say that we can get more here in crypto.
Take a look at this https://www.ig.com/za/trading-strategies/forex-vs-bitcoin--what-are-the-differences--190321 it helps to decide which one is more appropriate for us individually.

Don't even think about forex trading. You know, crypto trading is better, here you can find more assets and you don't need to pay taxes, it is easier to deposit and withdraw funds. Crypto trading has no regulations, so profit and volatility has no limits!

Basic trading fundas in both forex trading and crypto trading are same but crypto platform is very new whereas forex platform are older one with lots of options to adust trading platform as per your convenience. MT4 trading platform commonly used for forex trading has wider feature to add various indicators so the professional traders can predict the market easily and daily volume in forex market is very high as compared to any other financial market. Crypto market is much volatile as compared to forex market so one can make good profit even by not taking high leverage trades in crypto.

I agree with you that the volume in the forex market is exponentially higher than in the crypto market, but regarding the charting platform - TradingView has a much more superior interface, indicators and functionalities which are more user friendly than the MT4 which requires a larger learning curve. This is my opinion though.. maybe some of the traders out there prefer the old school MT4 or MT5 UI.

The thing with forex is that,  the chances of making windfall profits is very less. I don't trade much but whenever I do, I try to target huge returns no matter what level of risk involved. This thing is not possible with forex, any currencies pair in forex fluctuates by like 1-2% which is not enough. With crypto, one can make even like 10-20% in a day.

That doesn't make any sense. Crypto Exchanges have such trading system because these are concerned with the trading of cryptocurrencies which are not regulated in most of the countries. But listing forex on such exchanges will bind them to Foreign Exchange Regulation Act which is prevailed in almost all the countries thus making such exchanges like an ordinary forex platform.

I prefer crypto trading because it is more profitable in my view, and even with a small budget you can make some earning and grow up your trading capital to make bigger profits. Forex is riskier and to make real money you have to trade with big amounts and take the biggest risks.
Also, the volatility of cryptocurrencies is making these assets more attractive than fiat assets traded generally with forex.

Actually the volatility at some point are making forex trader backing away from crypto because of the stability of the prices unlike the major currencies.  The movement of prices in major currencies are just cents, it doesn't fluctuate for a hundred dollars in less a than a day unlike with BTC.

But the way to earn with Forex is the pipspread which leverage can turn them into more than $1 per pip and thats when you can see the difference between the two markets.

I prefer trading in crypto, why?
Because trading in cryptocurrency is more risky than forex. I really love high risk.
There is some different between forex and crypto.
In forex, data chart is like same in every broker. But in crypto that is different between one exchanger to other, also we can see how much people willing buy or sell.
For me crypto is more fun and real.

Personally, I would rather choose to trade crypto over forex simply because crypto is has high volatility rate compared to assets laid in forex. Honestly, I only have a little trade experience in forex but even so crypto is more profitable. However, trading with crypto is more risky compared to forex because in crypto even if you make technical analysis it is still vague since its unpredictable.

Forex trading isn't sustainable compared to cryptocurrency trading, sometimes you need to actually play with the market in order to acquire enough profit. Full time is recommended, that's why with crypto trading you'll gain good profit as long as there's a good potential of each and every coins you choose with a promising market. You'll see it visibly on coinmarketcap, all summary of information is there in order to provide us definite analysis.

Forex markets are way more mature and have much more data to backtest. If you know technical analyse sure go for Forex or Stocks. technical analyse works much better here than Crypto, because Crypto market is much more emotion driven and volatile.

Besides, Cryptocurrencies are as of now still too unregulated, so the risk is a lot higher. All it takes is a lot of countries outlawing it and you'll be left with nothing. you don't have the same risk when it comes to forex. also, you're not going to make much in the way of cryptocurrencies. Granted some of us got in back in the penny days and made out well but that sort of rally is not going to happen again anytime in the foreseeable future.

Trading on forex and cryptocurrency has some similarity.we must learn hard and improve our knowledge in trading skill such as technical or fundamental analisys.but in my opinion forex trading more complicated,we have to understand about fundamental from some countries especially about macro economic and geo politic that influenced to curruncies volatility.meanwhile in crypto we only need update about lastest development from coins that we traded.

for myself, I prefer to trade on cryptocurrency rather than forex because I feel that trading on cryptocurrency is clearer and not afraid if you are not able to be online then nothing will be forfeited, everything is still safe even though the price is falling only the selling price decreases and can return when rising price.

Both of them has their pros and cons. Crypto and forex both represent a digital store of value and can be purchased and sold with ease. They both have high volatility which creates an opportunity for quick profits going long or short. Forex trading is more stable, but skilled traders can make much higher profits in crypto.

Forex trading is not digital store of value. It is a digital representation of the store of value of currencies used in real world. It is affected by many more factors than cryptocurrencies like country's economic situation, Balance of Payments, International Trade, etc.

Cryptos price movements were highly unpredictable so you can huge profits or can fall int huge loss.

Its is the life of crypto trader to be willing to take such risky decision since the rewards from trading crypto is high.

Cryptos were created to be an alternative for centralized payment so using cryptos for other purpose mat not last long.

Both Cryoto and Forex Markets are unpredictable. If Forex was predictable, Everyone would be a millionaire. The major reason why I prefer trading Cryptocurrencies than currencies (forex), is because with Crypto, The small guys are allowed to roll alongside the big boys (The whales, institutions ). The forex market is so big that you might just fall off especially if you're new to trading.
I didn't know that small traders can't roll along with whales in forex, I thought every traders there are all fair just like in crypto. In my opinion, crypto is more unpredictable since it doesn't depend on some factors such as news, economic growth, and etc. unlike forex. Fundamental analysis works in forex but it doesn't work in crypto.

Forex trading will be too difficult than crypto trading because I think forex trading will have many analyses and indicators to predict where the price moves.
Besides that, we cannot see an asset in the forex can increase so high compare to the crypto.
In crypto trading, we have a chance to use crypto as the investment in a long time, especially if we can choose the right coin.
We have so many coins which we can use as the investment, and that can give us a big profit.
If you can analyze with right in the forex trading, I think you can analyze with right too in the crypto trading.
In the crypto, trading doesn't need so many analyses or indicators to trade.
As long as you can buy low and sell high, you will make a profit.

If you're a professional trader, you can trade in any circumstances. You will disregard those little problem when you are trading. Yes, crypto trading is more complicated but it is significant. You just need to become observant and patient when it comes to trading in a right time. Forex is just easy to understand and trade stocks. But crypto trade gives a lot of benefits and you can gain more profit using it. You just need to take the risk that no matter what happen, it is your choice and decision of something good or bad thing occurs.
Crypto Trading can enhance your trading skills especially if you came from stock trading. We all know that cryptocurrency is more volatile than other assets to trade which makes it more thrilling to trade with. The liquidity of a cryptocurrency is very high that you can make a large profit in just a fraction of time. But here we are trading cryptocurrency. It's just its more fun trading crypto than forex as it is based on my experience.

thank you for all the suggestions, both forex and crypto each have advantages and disadvantages, indeed forex cannot be included in crypto trading, I just hope one day forex has a trading system similar to crypto,
in forex we can sell all currencies even though we only have 1 type of currency, in crypto if we don't have LTC we won't be able to sell LTC even though we have BTC, so forex does not look like trading, instead it tends to be like gambling, that's why I hope that forex becomes like crypto trading.

Follow your own preferences. You have a piece of knowledge after all on both.

Others aren't interested in Forex trading because of a lack of knowledge or they just don't want to study it because they are currently comfortable doing crypto trades. The same goes for those who aren't interested in crypto.

Yes, crypto is volatile. Way different to Forex that was backed by the government. Since crypto is decentralized, its value depends on how the market will react for it making it more unpredictable.

The choice is yours.

Without a doubt I would choose crypto trading compared to forex trading. Because crypto free from government control cannot intervention, crypto movement is more volatile then you can get a large profit if you buy exactly at a low price Forex trading movements are predictable, and depending
on the news. If bitcoin is different sometimes the news Even good things can make a coin go down, and bad news can make a coin go up. That is what it makes bitcoin is increasingly in demand. So the movement of bitcoin is difficult to guess, it will invite curiosity. From there it can bitcoin investor will continue to grow.

I also trade forex and my strategy was based on technical analysis while utilizing my little knowledge in candlesticks patterns with two indicators with those tools I was making some profits consistently however when I switched over to crypto trading I discovered that the crypto market most often defied my TA resulting to losses although I had not started real trading I was using a trading simulator to practice, price is accurately predicted in forex trading better than crypto trading which I believed its price behavior is more of fundamentals.

You are basically saying that crypto exchanges should not only include cryptocurrencies but also fiat currencies.
I don't think that fiat currencies will make it's way to crypto exchanges but yes cryptocurrencies that are backed by individual fiat currencies do already exist.
Also, bitcoin was designed to be an opponent of fiat currencies so for fiat currencies to be impelmented in crypto exchanges will not happen in a direct way.

I could see it happening. They already have BTC/USD and BTC/Other currency markets. It wouldn't be too awfully difficult to add a market to trade USD/EUR for instance. If you were in charge of one of the exchanges, anything you could make a profit off of would be good. The only problem is the regulation involved in Forex trading. I'm sure they would have to all get new licenses to do it, but it's not out of the realm of possibility.

Before even crypto trading happened a lot of the traders have considered forex as the most volatile market to earn money but its not comparable to what we are experiencing in the crypto industry right now. It's more volatile therefore more unpredictable but if you have learned to analyze forex trading which has been considered hard by others then I think you will quickly adapt in crypto trading you just need time to adjust for it.

I hope someday the crypto exchange will include various national currencies, so it not only provides crypto exchange but also exchange money between countries.

This wouldn't be possible as this will certainly require another busoness permit for the crypto exchanges to operate in both crypto and fiat currency. I don't even think that they will allow thia kind of system especially whenthe KYC process is much easier for crypto exchanges.

First of all a true professional trader should be able to trade in any kind of market environment. Cryptocurrencies offer you much more volatility then forex, but in forex you can use crazy high leverage if you are a professional trader/not a retail trader. Basically it is up to you what market you like more. Personally I am more excited by the cryptos because they trend more, but forex is good for scalping.

If you are experimented in trading you can trade both, why not. Or maybe scalp forex and play swing trades on Bitcoin for example. Everyone has different trading styles so you need to do what works best for you.

Scalping in forex market is pretty much doable than in crypto. The lowest timeframe that MT4 has is the 1 minute chart but there are java base platform, which has the seconds time frame that can still determine which the trend will do in matter of few seconds.  I have never done this in crypto, there are lots to factor when deciding since I myself can't trust browser base platform.

Overall if we do talk about trading then they are really just the same but we can distinguished their main differences;

1. Volatility
2. Centralized vs Decentralized
3. Crypto vs Fiat

We know that the higher the volatile the higher possibilities on making big profits but well it do accompanied or equaled by risk.
Im a Forex trader too back in the past but the possible profitability on which crypto can give do really interest me on. They all have the same concept
so i cant see any problems with it.

if I personally prefer analyzing in forex trading, but in the trading system it prefers crypto trading, I hope someday the crypto exchange will include various national currencies, so it not only provides crypto exchange but also exchange money between countries.
The basic differences between crypto trading and forex trading are
1. Volume: forex have tremendous volume. Half of which is a achieved due to leveraging. The total volume is so high that it is certainly impossible for any single person to control the market or even affect the market.
2. Volatility: forex markets are pretty less volatile as compared to Cryptocurrencies market because there are little movements calculated in the form of pips while in Cryptocurrencies there is 10-20% movement easily in a day.

I won't say which one is better but forex does provides a lot of transparency while Cryptocurrencies provide a lot of volatility even without leveraging it's pretty easy to earn 5-10% a day here in Cryptocurrencies.

If you have more experience in forex trading, so you do not experience in crypto trading. Both are different so those are knowledge in share market investment they only survive easily. I hope any forex currencies are not accepted in crypto trading so only tokens and coins are acceptable. Nowadays everyone choose the crypto trading so forex trading is little hard to make profit.

I've heard forex trading from a friend, he said that it was too hard handling forex asset in trading because it need full time. This cannot be done for part time due to crucial activities that needs to be monitored closely. Crypto trading is a little bit complex that forex but profit gains could be achieved if you're part of those growing coins, so proper selections was a good choice to do before getting into trading business.

The reason why you are here is just for crypto, I am sure you know how crypto works than in forex trading. I will not in favor of forex trading the fluctuation is negatively happening. If it is fluctuated very slow how could you even earn a profit. The crypto trading is high fluctuation but it is also a high risk. Being volatile is the way you can make a profit and I did not see it on the forex exchange. Nevertheless, in crypto trading for sure you can.

What do you mean? crypto exchanges should be only for crypto coins, why bother to add fiat-fiat pairs. And in small chance, if that happens then it's no longer called crypto exchange, right?
