What is your take, should the church be part of the secular politics?
If the good people of the church should stay away from politics and people who don't have fear of God takes up political positions,  it will be disastrous for everyone. Politics has nothing to do with Christianity or religion,  in politics we need good people irrespective of the religion one belongs.  In politics people needs good governance  which won't be bad if religious people decides to go for any political position. I see no reason why people should be shifting from politics because they claim to be faithful to their religion.

Eloncoin.org - Mars, here we come!

What is your take, should the church be part of the secular politics?

We have to accept that not everyone follows Christianity and we can not condemn those who do not believe the God we follow a government’s primary purpose is to serve and protect its people regardless of their belief as they are part of the land the government swore to protect

There are Christian beliefs that do not necessarily align with other people but this should not mean that it should be illegal for as long as that person is not hurting anyone, their belief should be whatever they want it to be there are lots of religions out there and we can not enforce to other the religion we follow

Solomon said, right at the beginning of Ecclesiastes: "Meaningless! Meaningless!" says the Teacher. "Utterly meaningless! Everything is meaningless."

In other words, because of death, for all people personally, everything they have done in life is meaningless. It will all be gone for them when they die. Even the things that they think they accomplish for their loved ones will perish. Many times in history, the savings that parents saved up for their children have been lost, through the failure of a nation to endure, or a family tragedy.

All people will rise in the resurrection at the return of Jesus Christ. Those who have believed in Christ in a positive way before their first death, will be saved from the second death... which will be an eternal death. Because of the Spirit of God that God breathed into mankind to give them life in their beginning, the second death will essentially be an eternal dying... because God cannot die.

The point is. Politics or no politics, Jesus Christ and a Christian religion is the most important thing for every person in this life. There isn't any choice for people in this matter. Either you have Christ here and you live for life eternal, or you don't have Christ here and you live for everlasting death.

It is not out of place to say that, man by nature and character is a politician as posited by the notion that, man is a political animal " Homo- Politiq".

By this argument , it means that, human is embodied with the charisma of politics naturally. This charisma is displayed in two ways;  Thinking and Taking decisions that suits his interest and man is also embodied with the charisma of making others to accept his opinion or decision as a general interest.

Such rights of decision making making based on interest is a natural right and constitutional right of every man. But, should there be the compromise between secular politics and the Christain religion?

Despite that fact that, humans have the absolute right of association, and decision making in a state even in a theocratic state, Christain doctrines and the principles of politics have a line that separates the entanglement.

Secular Politics according to many is a dirty game. A game of winner takes all including the common resources of the people, a game that is played with such much sentiments , hates and desperation such as blackmail and propaganda which sometimes leads to killing as a means of achievement.

Christainity on the other hand is a practice of moral principles that stands on Christ and his teaching. Christainity in some areas is seen as a religion for the newed movement that slightly separates from the old practices of the Jewish tradition, which was dominated by religious politics that drives the decisions of the Jewish state. The practices bans desperate, hatred, blackmail and propaganda, killing and stealing of public resources.

Donald Trump , the former U.S president while contesting as president , used propaganda and blackmail against his opponent, due to his behavior toward the blacks in America, they also gave their massive votes to the current president when Trump recontested Joe Biden.

Christ in his attempt to separate politics from religion criticised the church and separated himself from the politics of the Jewish state. It was on this ground that, his followers asked him an essential question about the entanglement between the Christains and the political leadership of the state, and he answered by making reference to the arts on the coin. The payment of taxes in that portion of the bible only accepted the civil responsibility of taxation.

There was never a day the church under Christ became a tool of political patronage. This is where the church has degenerated to in recent times. The modern churches turns the bible to suit the expectations of the political leadership and becomes subjects to the political ideologies and interests of persons in politics.

As against this regular practices of modern politics, the Christain belief encourages general interest and a display of an uncompromised belief system through a distinctive public and private conduct, guided by the principals of morality and social consciousness. This means that, Christains are encouraged to stand out in behavior as examples to their immediate environments.

I think the Christain religion should be only used as a ground for training citizens with upright behavior for the good of the state or country.

What is your take, should the church be part of the secular politics?
