Hello Bitcoin community i have a wery noob question i would like to know whats the proper math for calculating circulating supply if i am interested in an ICO and i know that they sold Y on the presale and they have a X as hardcap and their token price is A
Thank you !  Huh
As "ikilledcobain" said, you cannot calculate the circulating supply from the ICO's and that's because unsold tokens usually gets burned or sent to an asset contract or similar, and they often offer a lot in bounty, and also someone earns tokens for doing promotions. So it's not easy to calculate.

I'm not sure if you can calculate circulating supply just based on the ICO numbers, the total supply, and price. If they're on coinmarketcap they'll have the numbers - although they're not always up to date. You'd probably have to rely on information from the token creators themselves.
