maybe i need to update firmware.i have ledger 1.2
Yes, Firmware version 1.3 or later is needed for the BCH application to run on the Nano S (1.3.1 is the latest one).

Do you know how to update the firmware? Do you have your recovery sheet ready?
IIRC a firmware update resets the Nano S and you'll have to do the initial setup once again.

yeah  have my recovery sheet.i got the idea how to do.

thank you so much for helping me.

No, that is the chrome extension, you need to install the app on the ledger itself, not on your chrome browser.
Open the Ledger Manager Extension and install the Bitcoin Cash App.

I can fetch my Ledger Nano S in a few minutes and make some screenshots.
If you don't know where to get the Ledger Manager App, here you go:

Did you install the Bitcoin Cash App on your Ledger Nano S?
You need to have the BCC/BCH app installed and run it on the Nano S, not the regular BTC app.
You can install the BCC/BCH app using the Ledger Manager Chrome extension.
