Actually bcash is available in mycelium.

I had a sample of this. It tried to download something that looked enormous so I couldn't be bothered. Maybe I was premature. Anyway anyone claiming it now has so many other forks to play with they may as well extract a raw private key and drop it into the millions of fork wallets.

And thankfully, they will release support for Segwit soon.

Hmm. Back in the game.

Actually bcash is available in mycelium.
With their last update they have reorganized their structure and created so-called 'modules'.

According to them there will be differend modules for different currencies available.
The first released module is the bcash module.
Exactly.

You can download the module here: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.mycelium.module.spvbch

Otherwise bitcoin cash is not yet accepted by the mycelium as of today but still looking forward that it will happen.

Regarding that matter all I know is only bitcoin can claim by the mycelium wallet and the rest are not even bitcoin cash, that announcement shows that they were ready to develop their wallet if in case bitcoin cash will become successful in their career in crypto currency. Otherwise bitcoin cash is not yet accepted by the mycelium as of today but still looking forward that it will happen.

I was wondering if this is safe enough to do even without moving my BTC to other wallet?
That all depends on how much you trust the wallet your import your seed/private key into... and also whether or not you trust your computer to be free of malware/keyloggers/screengrabbers etc so that the simple act of just exporting your seed/privatekey from your current wallet and/or typing your seed/private key into the new wallet, doesn't end up compromising your BTC.

Everyone is so desperate to save a few pennies on transaction fees... they don't seem to care about securing their $$$... #pennyWisePoundFoolish

Woa that was straight forward savagery lol

Do you plan to write a guide on Mycelium and the BTG and BTX claiming processes? That would be very helpful!

Claiming BTG process is similar, just replace Bitcoin cash with bitcoingold in tutorial.
I was wondering if this is safe enough to do even without moving my BTC to other wallet?
In my case, when I claimed BCH, I send all my BTC to a new generated wallet in my Mycelium before importing the seeds for security purposes. The BTG will remain and will not move along with BTC.
Yes I know that. That's what I was planning to do, but I don't want to move the funds as already the BTC fees is increasing so much and since I have so many change address, to move all my btc the tx coming over 2000 bytes.

worked for me thanks.
but paper wallets are delaying during fork being at a reliable exchange sounds better to just sells quicker.

now B2X is here and i m keep searching an exchange that supports it.
coinbase is supporting but coinbase can change their announces and promise anytime
any seconds coinbase limit account freezing etc are really sucks
That's a much better approach but if you're not sure they will support it then better pull out your bitcoins if you really want to claim it. Sometimes, it's better to store your bitcoins in a wallet where you control your keys just to be sure that you have the coin. All you need to do is import the seeds to a wallet that supports it done then that's it.

Thanks, yes, using Coinomi now and had no problem.
The thing is I have another electrum wallet and would also like to import it to Coinomi using its seed. But can Coinomi have two seeds? I know it can have one or more wallets of each cryptocurrency, but wondering if any way that doesn't entail the "sweep" process I could get the second electrum wallet imported?
You probably won't be able to import an Electrum wallet into Coinomi using the seed. Electrum does not use the BIP39 standard for it's seed generation. Even though it uses the same wordlists, it is calculating checksums and things differently... so if you import an Electrum seed into a BIP39 wallet, it will either show as invalid, or it will most likely generate a different wallet/addresses.

You will need to export the private keys from the addresses, and sweep those private keys.

Also, Coinomi uses ONE seed for ALL the different cryptocurrency wallets that it contains. You cannot have multiple seeds in one coinomi wallet.

Sorry for late reply, why there is no separate tab for keeping track of replies here?
Try clicking the "Watchlist" link in the top left corner Wink

If posts aren't being added to your watchlist... goto your profile and click the "Notifications and Email" link on the left... tick the top box that says "Automatically watch topics after replying to them." and then click "save settings"

Thanks much, btw I loved your status, so witty 😂

Hi I am trying to recover BCC from Mycelium using Electron Cash in a PC (don't want another smartphone application like Coinomi).
The thing is, I introduced the Mycelium SEED into Electron Cash but balances showing in BCH not correct. Some in another thread says I have to SWEEP my Mycelium private key in Electron Cash.

I have the 12 word seed from mycelium but no idea how to get the private key to be able to do sweep with electron cash. Anyone knows how to get the private key (not the 12 word seed) from a Mycelium Wallet?

I request you to not to make simple things complicated and install Coinomi. If you come across any problem let me know.

Balances showing in Electron Cash will only show what you had in actual BTC at the time of the split, Aug 1 @ 14:00 UTC

Did you take a balances screenshot back then?

All transactions are the same as they were pre-Auugust 1. There's only one after August 1 which is the outgoing of all BTC a few days ago to a different/new wallet.
