Vega 56 it's a good price/hashrate power and you can find bios mod

Which is why they're sold out everywheeeeere. If you find any, buy them.

Lol, thats my problem with all the video cards.

580s 1 per customer or sold out or overpriced by hundreds of dollars.
1080s I can buy, which is why i brought the question up. If its available, it means its not in demand, meaning its not as good.
1080TIs, I can buy 3, but not sure if its worth it.

Haven't even began to look at the Vega 56.

1070ti might work?

Suggestions on where to buy / avoid the limit per customer nonsense lol

I would say for the price the 570s are great cards when flashed.  If you are looking to go the NVIDIA route than I would recommend the 1070ti as they produce great hashrates while also not being as power hungry.  They are the perfect bridge between the 1070 and 1880ti

Thanks for the reply.

You cant flash nvidia cards, they are locked. You can flash only AMD cards.
RX 580 8GB is best choice for you at this moment - until ethereum mining ended.

What would be the best 1080/1080ti since it can't be flashed? Just curious. Weighing the pros and cons.

Hi Guys,

Bought my hardware (except GPUs) which i understand is the main part.. Grin but I've been up in the air on what to get...  Huh
With a budget of around 2400:
3 x 1080Ti
4 x 1080
8 x 580

Its obviously going to be a little harder to get the 580s, but looking at numbers, those still appear the most profitable? Am I missing something?
Maybe the 580s aren't as efficient , but they are more coin diverse...

Also, if the 1080(ti) , is it necessary to flash those similarly to the 580s? I haven't seen much documentation on those. What brands work best (I'm certain this was asked a million times but i can't read a 200 page thread)

What would you chose?

Thanks for your opinions. Want to build this over my Christmas holiday break Cheesy

Thanks!
O
