Does the card manufacturer offer a diagnostic application? Do you have the latest firmware installed? Is there any sort of bios or hardware conflict? Have you checked and rechecked your graphic drivers? Is the hardware displaying properly in the device manager? Is the card outputting video?



You might consider investment in ASIC hardware as opposed to GPU.

you need to try with another gpu to see if the issue is still there

my pc is 6 gb of ram
i know that my card is a little old but iam  pretty sure alot of ppl are mining with it
this problem doesn't make wanna invest in mining hardwere
cause i saw some with the same problem having more advanced gpu than me
also without any solution

at this point is clear that the problem is the gpu itself, too old gen and few gb of ram, everything else look fine to me it can't be the problem

What size of system memory installed on your motherboard ?
if its 2GB or less , that can be a problem ...
should be at least 4GB

yes i have tried all of that

my miner version is 9.6
and tried also 7.0 8.0
my gpu ati amd hd5450 2gb ddr3
driver version 15.7 and tried 13.12 too
still having the same problem have no idea how to fix it  
my vm is 40 gb

What gpu   you have ?   Have you set virtuell Memory to 16 gb ?

What Version of Miner you use ?

ok now i have windows 7 os

still having the same problem
is there some kind of code i have to input
some confige in the grafic card
any hints please dont hesitate to replay

i don't know at this point it can be windows related or drivers related, you tried your gpu with another algo? to see if is the clymore miner the problem

i would get rid of win 8 anyway win 7 or 10 are better, win 8 is just an half assed win 7/10

Had the same issue, in your bat file add the following:

setx GPU_SINGLE_ALLOC_PERCENT 100


this fixed it for me.

i did try almost every thing unliss there is something i missed
i only have one gpu and trying to run it for almost three days now
but having the same error gpu 0 gpuminer k1a failed -55
a little more explanation would be great

try to restart your mahcine maybe the change had not effect if this is windows 7, if don't work try to run one gpu first to see if that is really the problem

up i dont know why no one try's to help!?
