Waste of time and server space. I personally do not have time to check a half dozen places for information on potential scammers so keep it where is is supposed to be. Use the Scam Accusation thread (That's what it's for) and the Trust system.

Ehhh...Quickseller comes to mind immediately.

This is a nice idea, sort of, but it's what we have the feedback system for.  A thread with listing scammers as its goal is doomed to fail, because it'll become a spam thread with people arguing back and forth, and it'll quickly become disorganized.  You'd have to manage it like that "known alts" thread, where there's kind of a spreadsheet thing.  And, as Vod alluded to, you'd need decent evidence that someone is a scammer.  That's the argument I've read on bitcointalk many times, why admins don't ban scammers--because it's too hard to prove.

But hey, good luck if you can get it started.

well, we can all check the post history. It becomes pretty apparent quickly. I WILL UPDATE AND CHECK. OTHERS CAN AS WELL. Then we can agree. If only one spams and what not, its not legit. It can be a LEDGER....

Well, this thread can be a bit simular like the airdrop thread. And i dont think there that many long time "scammers"

Though if u happen to be sure of them u can just list them here with the BITCOINTALK PROFILE. So people can check it out themselves.

And now and then post a complete list/publicate/update a list.

Quickseller    Profile please.

You can't fully clean it out without the full support and participation of the forum administration. Until they are willing to reject such malevolent behavior of others, this is a game of whack-a-mole.

Tell you what, I'll respect this idea if you update it hourly with all the new scammers, listing credible proof, and give us a way to sort and search.
Let's not exaggerate with 'hourly'.

Exactly. A thread would be redundant real fast and would be home to all sorts of useless spam. There isn't any point to hosting a list as everyone who has credible evidence of being a scammer would be tagged as soon as the Scam Accusation thread opens up (or hypothetically if an entry was filled in such a list). Then there's no point of keeping the list.

Since this forum is infested with scammers, shillers and what not. Id like to start a thread where we can weed out who is who and who is doing what. Im not saying these are bad guys perse. But in order to have a clear vision on what is what to not fall for hype and potential scam.

I will start of with this guy:

"Retired"

Professional ICO shiller : https://bitcointalksearch.org/user/retired-37600

I can find some more, but for the sake of this thread post one at a time.

(Even hourly might be too long, as it gives "zero hour" scammers a chance to gain credibility since they are not on the list)
