as far as I've heard, most 'cloud mining'/mining contracts are a scam.

Cex is good though...

Seems like the only good one though Tongue

Ya, but what sucks is that they are really expensive! Sad

Butterfly labs sells contract mining by the ghs for one year they are reputable have email and phone service they do return calls i think not shure but they are the biggest and most reputable for btc mining and you can buy hashing power or lease it from them for one year if you want that way you are set for a year and will not have to go on ebay to buy a cloud hashing power to lease or buy a hashing contract.

Did you ever have a problem and tried to contact them?
I'm trying for a month now to no avail.
Email, phone, forum, PM, no response.

I would be cautious with BFL.
They might not be a scam but definitely not providing a good service.

Hi everyone, late to the game but I'm very interested in bitcoin and the technologies/protocols behind it and so glad I've found this forum.

A completely newbie like myself had just went through a scam on ebay.

It was for a pre-order mining equipment which ship out next year, and it was for bid. The seller state that he was some reseller and I've fall for it. After I've won and paid for the auction, I've requesting documents of purchased from him, he seems to avoid my request and keep on giving reasons for delays. Now I'm letting PayPal handle the case, because now I clearly know I've been scammed!!! Angry

Seems like people will do whatever trying to take your hard earn money/btc.

I've found this new site and after what I've just went through with the ebay scam, I suggest everyone to think twice before making an order from them.

I Hope this will be some sort of help to other people.

No worries, PayPal will return money and punish the guy.

And for the future just follow a simple rule: Google it before buy it.

You will probably get your money back since pre-ordering is against paypals rules. Enjoy! Smiley
