Weldone on a nice job i know the more you keep on engaging in other peoples thread you will learn what thread you can create that will be beneficial to every user irrespective of rank. This very thread is very useful  but have been discussed severally. You did a nice job putting the article together but it would have been more attractive if it had heavy content and a link to a thread similar to yours on the B&H board

Newbies should spend more time reading rather than posting/creating topics.
You did the same thing years ago (2018), every high-rank members are once newbies themselves and they create topics and posts to rank up, what the heck are you even saying? That I shouldn't create topics? I guess that's why you are still a Full member since 2018.

If you want something a teeny tiny bit more complete of a list: https://cryptosec.info/checklist

1. Don't put all eggs in one basket.
P.S. Allocating money away from bitcoin into other cryptocurrencies is not diversification.

I'm new to bitcointalk but not crypto, if you like heeding to advices here are what I learnt the hard way.

1. Don't put all eggs in one basket.
2. Avoid connecting your wallet to too many exchanges (Defi Platforms).
3. Don't screenshot your seed-phrase and store in your phone.
4. Be careful, some people will pretend they are bringing to you a good offer, instead, they are intentionally taking.
5. Avoid risky airdrops, don't click too many scammer links anywhere you don't trust. The scammers won't say: "Hey give me your seed phrase", they will say something unique and desirable.
you forgot the most important one which is investing in what you can afford to lose.

Secondly don't always be in a hurry, always take your time,be patience whenever you want to make a decision.

Be a goal getter, always have a targets

And remember the best advice is the advice you give yourself.

I thought newbies find their way to this forum almost every day? Creating such a topic as this won't hurt, the first page of this Beginners and Help section has nothing like this warning, it makes sense to repost something like this once in a while, those who will read and learn something will and those who won't care won't.

Such advice just comes from beginners, since only these topics are full of them. And you, assuring that you are not a beginner, could write something more useful to prove your belonging to knowledge about cryptocurrencies. But even if you started with such an empty topic, I want to believe that the continuation will be more serious.

You already have an idea about some risk you might encounter upon trying to earn some profits out in crypto. You should also do deep more research about it so that you can add it on your learning since all of this will be beneficial to you in the long run. For now study what's the trend and don't focus on old school style because right now many earn on various thing like NFT or maybe if you don't have confidence yet on it better learn trading.

1. Don't put all eggs in one basket.

I can recommend this but only on bitcoin investment

3. Don't screenshot your seed-phrase and store in your phone.

screenshot is not even allowed while generating the seed phrase, I've tried it several times.
Wrong, trust wallet don't allow screenshot, also coinomi don't but there are few ones that allow screenshot of their recovery seeds and this doesn't make trust wallet and coinomi wallet safer.

Thanks for sharing your experience so far in the crypto space but all your points have been talked about in the forum many times before, my advice is to learn to use this forum's search engine it will stop you from creating topics about things that have been discussed too many times before.

Gamble responsibly
1. Don't put all eggs in one basket.
Some people may just want to hold a trustworthy coin that its value is increasing, they can go for bitcoin because of this. But to make maximum profit, some people will go for altcoins, some altcoins are shit coins though, which can lead to lesser profit.

3. Don't screenshot your seed-phrase and store in your phone.
That is true but not only on phone but on all online devices, including your computer and tablets. Better offline on paper or on steel sheets

4. Be careful, some people will pretend they are bringing to you a good offer, instead, they are intentionally taking.
Especially in trading, paying trading signals. Also in HYIP and other ponzi schemes.

5. Avoid risky airdrops, don't click too many scammer links anywhere you don't trust. The scammers won't say: "Hey give me your seed phrase", they will say something unique and desirable.
Yes, airdrops can later lead to scam.

I won't be so quick to condem your effort in trying to put other beginners aright and away from any impending danger. These might have been discussed a thousand times and even your still discussing it right now won't stop most users from falling prey to scammers but it might stop some. That's one reason why I said I won't be quick to condem your post by just giving the fact that there are other posts with such detail on the forum and simply bumping them or a user that cares could search it out using the forum's search button. Although, one thing is to note about this one, you speak of it based on your personal experience/deductions from cryptos and that makes it unique. Although, I would say this to you, "on your way to learning, learn to take advice". Complaints doesn't help so much. Do as your thread title says!

It will make more sense when you no longer create thread like this because it is knowledge that was discussed a thousand times before you signed up.
There are more useful thread that you might refer to for increasing your knowledge, but I must say that you don't need to create threads like this anymore. Welcome to the forum.

Instead of creating a thread where all the content is already known to many people, I would suggest you to provide understanding for another newbie when they want to answer their questions. It looked better for efforts to gain merit from other users.

6. Backup your seeds and private keys somewhere offline.
7. Easy money doesn't exist. If you got one, either you are a scammer or it's the false of someone ignorant.
8. Always use this forum to ask about critical issues before trying to solve it by anyway. It should be the best option if you are hesitated about how to do it by yourself.

About airdrops, they are not worth the time even you heard about some successful projects. They are only 2-3 successful airdrops among hundreds of others. At best cases, give them a try but don't set a long time to search and contribute to them .
