Ah so.    I didn't see anything about the CPU being dropped from the fix/feature list.  Well, it;s likely time for me to abandon bitcoin and go back to Dnet.  I remember the time fondly when my CPU finished a block.   Guess that's not going to happen again.

Not only that, but the algorithm used in the bitcoin client wasn't particularly good, and even CPU miners would benefit substantially by using an external miner.

In short, if you're interested in mining, GPUs are way better than CPUs, and external miners are far better than whatever was included in the bitcoin client.

It was decided that using a CPU to mine was relatively useless so the ability to generate coins was taken out of the 0.3.24 GUI.

recently up dated to 3.24  and have reverted back.  3.24 gave  me no generation options, and I saw nothing in the update info saying anything about processor/GPU requirements being changed. I completely skipped v3.23

So back at 3.21,  many connections, and my normal generation speed.

Wallet is fine, transactions,  history fine.   Is this a quirk, or a feature ?
