How to play?
Choose how many tickets to buy and send the corresponding amount to the address you see on the homepage, each ticket costs 0.001 BCH.

Example:
Do you want to buy 6 tickets? Send 0.006 BCH to BET ADDRESS, when your transaction will receive 1 confirmation you will see it appear in the betting list...easy!

Try it now!

"There are two kinds of gambling: the obsessive compulsive typical of slot machines, and one in which the expectation of victory is itself the pleasure of betting."
What will be the easiest way to explain to us your two kinds of gambling? I'm quite puzzled to your explanation.

Hi, that was just an introduction to the kind of game offered by Satoshiround Smiley
It refers to the difference between our game and the classic casino games. In any case, maybe it could be misleading, so I removed it.
Thank you for pointing this out.

Thank you, your feedback is very important!
You can bet even if in a round there are no other players at the moment, your bet will NOT be lost! As soon as more tickets are purchased, the round will be interesting Smiley
Until there are no other players the round will be repeated.
The more players will bet on Satoshiround, the more interesting the game will be, and above all ... the more Jackpot will be rich!
Enjoy!

This is an attractive type of game to lots of players, but with the bitcoin price where it is these days it can be a bit less attractive than it may have been before the meteoric rise of the btc price.  I'll definitely give it a look and possibly participate in the near future.

This lottery game is pretty attractive but dont you think each ticket is not cost too much? And btw is there any max number on how much each person can buy? Any fee deducted from the winner prize? And for 3 and 5 players to win you said that it is max on 0.2 and min players is 10 persons so if they all buy only 1 tickets how are you going to pay them for the rest? Are you going to pay them using from your wallet?
Hello friend, I answer point by point:
1. This lottery game is pretty attractive but dont you think each ticket is not cost too much?
Satoshiround is anonymous, there is no login and registration system, the operation is almost-on-chain. This means that every transaction to purchase tickets will pay the fees. If tickets cost, for example, 0.0005 commission fees would be equal or higher and math would not stand up, this is the reason for 0.001 BTC tickets.
In addition to this there is also to say that Satoshiround does not want to be an obsessive-style game like slot machine. but something different.

And btw is there any max number on how much each person can buy?
No, each player can buy all the tickets he prefers, so that he can choose how much chance he has to win the round.
In the round 10 tickets have been bought, 8 of which are yours? You will have an 80% chance of winning. As simple as logic Smiley

Any fee deducted from the winner prize?
Of course, the Jackpot will be subtracted only the fees for the payout transaction (if you click on the icon "i" of "informations" under the Jackpot you will find the information related to it.
And for 3 and 5 players to win you said that it is max on 0.2 and min players is 10 persons so if they all buy only 1 tickets how are you going to pay them for the rest? Are you going to pay them using from your wallet?
The types of games are 3 and they change based on the amount of the Jackpot. The richer the Jackpot is, the more players are rewarded:
- WINNER TAKES ALL => Jackpot below or equal to 0.05 btc
- 3 PLAYERS WIN => Jackpot from 0.051 to 0.2 btc (and minimum 3 players)
- 10 PLAYERS WIN => Jackpot from 0.201 btc or higher (and minimum 10 players)

It's easier to play than to explain it Smiley
Example, 3 people buy 3 tickets from 0.001 BTC? Ok, the Jackpot will be 0.003 (- house edge) and at the end of the round one of the 3 players will win the jackpot.
80 tickets were purchased? 0.001 x 80 = Jackpot 0.08 BTC.

Super simple logic, with strong provably fair system, nothing else! What are you waiting for?  Wink

• You reached the age of majority

• Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies are not illegal in your country

• Participating in a online game of luck (with a random assignment of prizes) is not illegal in your country

• Gambling with cryptocurrencies is allowed in your jurisdiction/country
All of the above terms and condition doesn't make any sense as you are not registered as casino anywhere and the one who want to gamble with bitcoin really don't want to expose themselves.

They might be coming from countries where bitcoin is illegal or gambling is illegal, bitcoin gambling is for those who want to bet anonymously. So asking them to accept those terms is pointless.

Sorry for bad words but these are just my opinions.

Hi friend, yours is a great point of view. The point is this: the disclaimers have 2 functions, the first is to inform users for their protection, the second is to protect themselves. paradoxically, if everyone in the world were correct and informed people, there would be no need for disclaimers. Sometimes, however, people are not informed, and sometimes some users want to be "clever", you know? the disclaimer only exist for this. nothing else. Satoshiround is a fair and fair website, and we want users that are alike.
We provide a really provably fair service, a nice btc lottery, nothing else.
Thank you.

This is an interesting thing to think about. At the moment (but in the future we hope it is no longer necessary) a 72 hour timeout is set.
It is basically a choice. Some players will want to receive their bet back at the cost of losing the fees, others will want to leave their bet until the conclusion of a round with other players.
The website is anonymous and we do not know our players if not for their address, so we assume that in the future it will not happen frequently that the ruounds remain empty for many restarts. We will adjust the system, on the way by listening to the feedback from the players.

However, at this moment in the 002 round there are 2 ticket sold, this means that if another player buys a ticket (total 3 tickets) each player will have a 33% chance of winning the Jackpot. Come forward, let's start spinning this wheel of fortune! Smiley
So...place your bets!

Looks like the website needs more development. Take a look at this site,

Round 2 will ends in 55 minutes 2 seconds with only 1 participant

However, this transaction has paid off 4 hours 31 minutes / 271 minutes ago, the round should have ended 172 minutes ago.
So, the conclusion is, if there's a round that just got 1 participant, then the round counter ends, it automatically repeated, probably a bug, dev? Or maybe because of the different timezone between my PC and your site?

Hi friend, as explained widely in the FAQ, when a bet remains the only bet in the round, the round is repeated until there are at least 2 players. This allows you not to lose your ticket! Smiley
A player can decide to buy tickets even if the jackpot is 0.000, his bet will not be lost, it will remain active until there are other players, at which point a winner will be drawn. Best regards

Oh sorry, I'm not even reading the FAQ, then how if some participant wants to get his money back? Another way except waiting for another participant to join the lottery?

You said a truth. Low-cost lottery struggles to survive in a (fantastic for BTC) moment like this. This is the reason why tickets cost 0.001 -> the fees.
As you can read in the first post, there are 3 types of games based on the Jackpot amount. The more the jackpot grows the more players are rewarded 1, 3 or 10 players (see "How to play" on www.satoshiround.com).
Satoshround take 0.0001 of your 0.001 ticket, and the goal is to lower fees in the near future.
Everything you want to know is explained in the "FAQ" and in the "How to Play" of the website.
0.001 may be too high a slot-game, for a roulette, for a black jack...but this is a lottery!
Who has never spent that amount for a scratch-and-win ticket or an analogic-lottery? Smiley

What is the percentage you take of my 0.001 Bitcoin (if I send it to you) and why don't you have multiple winners like #1, #2 and #3 at least?

Also, why so expensive for a ticket? 0.001 Bitcoin is a lot these days, most people don't have enough to gamble that amount, would be better if it was 0.0005 (~$7.50) or something.

You are right it it too expensive now and obviously we need to spend some other for the fee as well. But if it is reduced to 0.0005 then it will not worth to buy because the fee that we need to pay might be higher than 0.0005 if we want to get faster confirmation.
It is the main problem for a lottery game where we should pay directly to wallet, it could be different if there is an option to make deposit so we can buy tickets from an account. The other problem is, it is hard to get players. We have seen too many lottery games this year but most of them are failed to survive.

**NEWS** By popular demand, Satoshiround moved to Bitcoin Cash (BCH / BCC)! Same game, different currency. Now the fun is cheaper!

99 minutes per round, when one ends, another begins

Each lottery ticket sold will increment the round Jackpot

0.001 BCH per ticket (there are also bonuses!), each ticket is a chance to win the Jackpot

When round ends,  a winning ticket is drawn among those sold

The "WHAT"
Satoshiround.com is a semi-on-chain (and chain-based provably fair) lottery game.
The rounds follow each other and each one has a winner or more winners.
The Jackpot is composed of the bets of the other players, you are playing against everyone!
There are 3 types of games and they are differentiated by the amount of the Jackpot:
 - WINNER TAKES ALL => Jackpot below or equal to 0.05 BCH
 - 3 PLAYERS WIN => Jackpot from 0.051 to 0.2 BCH (and minimum 3 players)
 - 10 PLAYERS WIN => Jackpot from 0.201 BCH (and minimum 10 players)

The "HOW"
On the homepage there is a bitcoin address, that’s the address for ticket purchase.
Do you want to buy 1 ticket? Send 0.001 BCH + fees
Do you want to buy 7 tickets? Send 0.007 BCH + fees...as simple as that!
When your transaction will receive at least 1 confirmation it will be visible on the homepage and your tickets will be added to the Jackpot.

The "BONUSES"
The more tickets you buy, the more bonus tickets you get. From 1 to 100+ bonus tickets.
Visit Satoshiround.com >> Bonus section.

The "PROVABLY FAIR"
Players who bet on bitcoins are almost always pro-users, and pro-users want fairness and security...here we are!
To guarantee the impartiality of the extraction there are 3 keys:
 - Public key: random sha256 hash made public at the beginning and for the entire duration of each round.
 - TXT list hash: the MD5 hash of the text file (which everyone can download) that is generated at the end of each round and which contains all the bets, addresses, tx hash, public key and the verification block number.
 - Block hash key: when created by miners, the verification block hash.
The verification block is 2 blocks in the future from the last block generated when the round ends, this makes the outcome of the random totally unpredictable.
These 3 keys are combined together and passed to a PUBLIC script that will select the winner.
The most important thing: EVERYONE can see the keys and EVERYONE can verify the outcome of the final draw.
Complete technical explanation of the random script and extraction mechanism can be found on the website under "Provably Fair" section.

Satoshiround.com is a simple but not obvious lottery game.
Take your time, dominate the other players, win the Jackpot!

Satoshiround is in advanced Beta, if you encounter any kind of problem please do not hesitate to contact us from the "Contact" section of the site.

GOOD LUCK!
