What about childrens gloves knited with a bitcoin symbol in the palm?
I can do that for you. In the palm? How will people see the symbol most of the time?
Kids as cute as mine, are you kidding, they always have their palms out Wink
If you are making a sweater as was mention earlier in this thread,  post some progress pics.  When I get some measurements let me know what you are asking for the gloves.

Wowzers! Thank you very much! I think wifey will like the bronze necklace most. You are very generous :-) I will pm you the details for shipping. Care to post a btc address? Im willing to not use escrow. This isn't too much for me to risk.
Actually, I don't really take bitcoin, because I don't know how to use it.

Most people think that's me being deliberately clueless or trolling, but I honestly don't know. Ironic enough, that's why I'm here. To learn about it.

Well would you like to learn now? I have the coin ready to go. All you need is a wallet... pm me
But you didn't mail the shipping address yet.
Yes I did. Check your pm.

Okey dokey. Its a deal. Hopefully I spark a little business for you. So the necklace and a pair of earings shipped $30.
Almost done. Quick question: How old is your daughter?
3 and mommy is tired of her taking all her jewelery and losing it around the house :-)

Alright. Enjoy this free additional gift for your purchase. I hope your daughter likes it.

Here's your request.

I'd like to give another free gift. I have tons of jewelry that needs to go. What type of jewelry does your wife like? Does she like pearls? I have an old pearl necklace with no earrings. I didn't make it though.

I also have a bronze necklace that looks like a collar. I didn't make this one either.

Can you make bitcoin sweaters for pets too? Or are you only focusing on the human market for now?
Pets are welcomed.

That is great! Would some type of elasticity be possible to make the sweaters one size fits most?

I won't be able to measure the dogs in advance. Instead I was thinking about finding stray dogs that looked hungry and cold and providing them a free meal and bitcoin sweater. They could repay me by running around town advertising bitcoin afterwards.
It's possible, but highly unlikely. I'd have to weave the sweater in a way where the threading was loose, which means it will not be that warm.

Getting measurements is strongly recommended.

Yea I want to be the next bitcoin pizza guy.
I will go down in history as the bitcoin sweater guy. Tongue
Save the sweater then... it may be worth $1000 one day as a collector item. I wonder how much the box for the $10K pizza would be worth now. ..
I'm pretty sure the only way that'd happen is if I myself became a famous designer like Coco Chanel or Diane Von Furstenberg‎..

In that case, spread the word about my crafts, and I won't ever make that same exact sweater ever again.
You never know. Don't lose hope!  If you do become famous dont forget the little people lol. Seriously though don't downplay yourself,  anything is possible.

Ok, so I decided to measure one of my sweaters that has a nice fit.

Here is what I have (size is Medium):

If some of the measurements seem strange let me know, because I have not done this before.
It's okay, I didn't expect you to. Fashion and technology don't go hand in hand so this is all new for most of you.

You forgot the circumference measurement for the neck opening of the sweater. Make sure when giving me that, you measure it with the widest part of your head, which would be the forehead.

I believe you also forgot the circumference measurement of your arm. When retrieving the measurements to that, apply the same concept. The widest part is the top of the shoulder, so just wrap the measuring tape around your armpit, with the tape ending at the top of the shoulder.

Please note: this is not my actual sweater. The one I measured has a round neck.
Also the bitcoin sweater should have a round neck. Thank you!

My confection size is usually Medium. I'm 1.80 cm tall and I'm really fit.
If you need me to measure my chest/waist or something like that just let me know.

Yes. Do this just in case. I'm sure sizes and measurements differ in different countries.

Okay, that sounds fair. Do you need me to take some measurements from one of my knitted sweaters?

Also I would like the logo to be a little larger than what was in my picture.

What size sweater are you?

Well, this needs to be shipped to The Netherlands too.

If you could make the sweater exactly like in my picture - with the orange circle et cetera - I am willing to pay you $80 for your work, if this price includes the shipping costs.

I need it to look nice though. Maybe you can show me one of your knitted sweaters before you start on this one.

If you have another design in mind, then please show me what your design does look like.

Thank you!
I don't have any sweaters on me. Right now, all I have is jewelry. With that in mind, you'll just have to wait until I'm finished with it. I'll take a photo of myself with it to prove It's my work, and then we'll negotiate pricing based on material used and time spent.

I would love a knitted sweater in white with the orange bitcoin logo in the middle.

Something like this:

Can you do that?
Here's what's going to happen though:

Because of time spent, I can only do the bitcoin symbol alone on the sweater. If I put that orange circle background on it, that would take more time, thus charging more.

Unless you're willing to pay $70-$100 for a sweater, I wouldn't really offer the circle background at all.

I do apologize if that creates inconvenience. Perhaps just the bitcoin symbol alone would interest you?

Sounds good to me. What length would the necklace be and made from what materials?
It would be 20 inches long. Right now, I only have semi gold plated chains. No silver at the moment. The actual gems will be painted rhinestones/acrylic gems with the bitcoin symbol hand painted on each gem. There will be about 7 on the necklace.

Also, all I have right now in design in chains is this type

I will bite. Whats the cost gonna be shipped to sunny south florida?
Also would you escrow?
5 dollars.

And yeah, I would. Let me show you what the necklace would look like.

It will look like this. The only difference is it will have one more gem in the middle, and it'll have the bitcoin symbol instead of the cheetah prints I painted on them.

I'll take a pic of myself with it, so you know I made it, and I'm not taking somebody else's hard work.

If I produced handmade one of a kind bitcoin related merchandise, such as bitcoin symbol necklaces and knitted sweaters with the bitcoin symbol embroided onto them, would any of you actually be interested in them?

You should make a sample of something easy for you but that can show off your talent.  It's hard to sell someone something without showing them a demo at least imho. I am currently in your same boat just a different niche and I feel I wont get much attention until people can see what I can offer them. Just my opinion take it with a grain of salt.

Like I said, it really isn't like I'm about to spend hours knitting a sweater, then spend another two hours ebroiding the bitcoin symbol on it.

I wanna know if people like the concept of it first. Not if they'd think I made the products well. In all honesty, that doesn't make any sense to me. I'm asking a question, but no one can answer it.

It's a yes or no question. Would that actually be interesting to any of you?
Me, yes but no more than 1 necklace honestly and it depends on price.
Name your ideal price, style, color and design.
What type of materials do you have access to? I would want a simple necklace for the misses. Color would be red. Also my budget is around $25 (not trying to insult you with my small budget) if this is feasable lmk
No, that's not an insult at all!

I can also make matching earrings for her! It'll be a statement necklace then, instead of a choker or a pendant.

This thread is officially closed. To people that were linked here from my thread in the BTC forum, just read through the thread if you want to really know how to provide some kind of distinct indication that items you sell on websites are 100% yours, and legitimate. A transaction was actually made in this thread if you go to page 3.
