As a bad trader who retired after losing most of what I had in trading and lending money to companies. I will send you a donation of 0.04[brc] by tomorrow morning (I've invested in mining firms and am trying to "mix" my coins so to hide how much money I have, so I can't free up anything related to this account until then)...

I should say, I've recently got back into trading and managed to double my money in a fairly risk free way so I'm still happy from that.

(be careful with kyc incase they use identity theft or something in buying your registration).

Ah yes, I've had my fair share of craziness/losing most of what I had too.. I've edited the title to reflect your "donation" (tbh, that's a good way to treat any sort of expected-back payments in this space). Thank you.

Those burnt from 2017 will start returning to the markets once again - either as a trickle or another rush-in (depends on what the whales decide I suppose). So it's a good time to dabble once again but at the same time never forget past lessons (although, that's easier said than done for 99% of us and when SHTF it happens QUICK - one must catch themselves in the process - accept the loss incurred usually - and stay focused).

EDIT:

More direct address signed.

Are you in debt on here already or with an active loan?

I don't mind giving you the money as I know a lot of lenders here are batshit crazy sometimes when they don't get there money returned.

Also, if you haven't managed to make a profit trading, is this because you haven't traded or because your strategies don't work? Is it likely this one won't too and I'm just going to fund the vicious cycle (a lot of people in trouble here that I've given money to have used the word "trading" to indicate gambling too so I don't want to fund the viscious cycle because that won't do anything).

Thank you for considering, first of all. I am debt-free and have no active loans, on or off forum. I have been able to turn a profit (not only from trading - quick opportunities like ZebPay competitions, referral incentives (typically $5 profit per person I pay to sign up + KYC right now on ZebPay), among other small profit/prize opportunities I seek. I do make decent profits trading, and lately have learned to be even more careful with how much is risked per trade. I'm not asking for a loan to gamble - I've handed those out to people myself and you're right: they never end well. I do have people who owe me who have gambled with my money in the past year, and even though I can reasonably expect repayments (which have been happening), I am in no way relying on them (in my mind they're all "written off as losses").

EDIT: I hope it's not thought that all I do is seek short-term incomes, of course I seize them where possible, but at the same time I continually work on longer-term projects/salary positions for sustainable income (on and offline).

About red trust removal: they're way too emotionally invested in their red trusts by this point (just imagine the "hit to the ego", removing that red trust now?!.. Roll Eyes sad but true and this is how 99% of the world functions). That's probably part of the reason with the other part being that they're not ready/willing to reconsider the trust yet.

I took the same risks (see my lending thread) made perfectly good returns - you need to ask the right questions and be able to detect bullshit. Yes, I still got burned at times.

I have NO COLLATERAL available for this loan. It's "high risk" (lol..) and high return.

I am requesting a 0.04BTC loan repayment of 0.048BTC. NO COLLATERAL. (20% interest is offered for the "huge" risk you take on lending to this "oh so untrustworthy" member).

To be repaid before May 1.

Reason: Binance altcoin trading (approx. 0.02BTC there) and ZebPay spread trading (0.015BTC there now) and referral signup payments (of which I've 2 people to pay on Monday). I have sporadic income coming in over the next week. This loan allows me to double my workable balances.

I won't be late (I know I've been late on 2-3 recent loans) because I am not dependent on someone else or something else happening; both of which fucked me up in the past and led to my trusts.

To be sent to my staked address: 12hYBWiPqfwdveGzpbRdGxeqnoMcNvGNSq

Again, don't bother with the useless replies. Those ready to take the "risk" and those who know me, are the ones I seek a loan from.

1- Collateral well worth below the loan and usual requested amount of 120% of loan, as I read it, you have 0.35 worth of altcoins and asking for 0.04 loan.
2- You said it yourself,
Quote
Those ready to take the "risk"
I took risks like this in the past, 3 years ago when I started a loan service and didn't go that well because I was a risk taker.
3- If you have repaid all your loans, go ask those who gave you red trust to reduce it at least.

You have been either trying to take out a loan, or have had a loan outstanding almost the entire time since you have returned.

Could you answer my question, regardless of your dispute of its predicate?

Or neither, yes.. that covers 3 options well (requesting loan, having loan, no loan). Please read entire replies, that's yet another problem people seem to have here..

I did have 0.04 or so BTC to lend when I opened that lending thread again.

(If I recall correctly of course.. It could very well have been 0.01 BTC, 0.02 BTC or 0.05 BTC, the exact amounts I had in my wallet available I would not be able to remember - I can only assure you that I had funds).

Given the long history of taking out many loans since you have returned and the small value of the collateral that you suggested you could use to repay your previous loan (but that a lender could not maintain position of), is it fair to say you didn’t have any money to lend out when you opened your lending thread back up when you first returned?

"Long history" and "since I've returned" don't really match. I think it's only been a couple months since I've started gearing up again (asking for loans).

I did have 0.04 or so BTC to lend when I opened that lending thread again. Quickly realised such amounts are better put to work actively elsewhere.

marco, after everything that has happened, everything you've been accused of, the late repayments, one of the highest negative trust ratings, etc. Why haven't you decided to just take a step back from repeatedly asking for loans?

Because I'm legitimate - I've repaid all I've needed to repay. When I fucked up and needed extra time - I made amends with those it mattered. Trust me, I don't enjoy paying fucking 10-20% (50+% in some late loan cases) for a $200-$300.. As I've said before - I'll offer myself up as loan shark bait so that I can secure the funding I need for the projects/ventures/trades I know will return me more than that. Other times, it's because I need to cover expenses.

And tbh, not much has happened - I repaid a couple loans late. I'd like to get back on track in that regard. Suchmoon, Vod, etc decided to stir up some drama/fire up the brigade/attack. And it all started (I think that's the point where things got out-of-hand and many fell victim to power) because 1 lender (Roman) got spooked (yes, rightfully so) and made a thread about it. He even left me positive trust for crying out loud.

Do you have an active loan? I understand it is "Closed off forum.", but I was halfway considering funding this until I realized you had just asked for a loan 2-days ago that was supposedly filled.

No, I do not have an active loan. One must either believe or disbelieve me when I say that.

What is the guarantee that you will not repay the loan late, aside from your word, which has been proven to be false on exactly this before?

My word. In the past (the 2 or 3 late loans, I repaid within a week always), I was depending on people/events to happen. So when they didn't pull through I was held accountable (as expected) and fell on my backup plans. Obviously, I misjudged the likelihood of those things happening or those people pulling through (just proving to myself to not trust like that and especially not bank my word on trust like that). In those situations (where I was depending on this person to pull through or that event to happen) I always gave the best-case-scenario (another mistake). So in the future, I am being clear on if I am depending on someone and I won't be giving a best case/soonest repayment date in case I cannot meet it. If I repay sooner, the lender will be pleasantly surprised at least.

It's my word, it's worked the past 6 years on here (2 years or so as a lurker rather than engager), and obviously took a hit from some rushed decisions recently. Literally, 2 or 3 loans I repaid late and made the loaners whole/satisfied invited 6+ outside members (of which some are emotionally invested, eager to flex, you name it) to destroy my public so-called "trust". I'll need to work twice as hard to prove I'm an honest person and that will take time - but I'm willing - because that's who I am. I'll continue doing as I do - minus the stupid/careless mistakes - and being who I am. Thanks for considering nonetheless.

Didn't you just get a loan?

https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/closed-5132772

So are you doubling or tripling your "workable balances"? Don't get yourself overleveraged.

No loan active now. I settled off-forum, 0.01 overnight kind of thing (from that made 30%+ & repaid). I am not over-leveraged.

Wow - lost for words because out of nowhere jackg decides a donation of the 0.04BTC is suitable Huh Thank you very much Jack. Wishing you all the best.
