Started bitcoin betting recently. Was in a 6 game winning streak. Started with 0.15 BTC and made upto 0.4 BTC by sports betting. Today first lost 0.09 BTC and then betted all remaining to recover loss and lost it all. Now in loss 0.15 BTC.
FUCK. What to do to control gambling? I think we all lose in the long run. feeling so bad and drunk right now.  Angry Cry Cry Cry Cry Cry Cry Cry
My question is what were you trying to achieve? Were you trying to become a professional gambler that can make profits in sports bets? While difficult it is not impossible and most likely your problems can be summed up as lack of restrain and no money management skills.

The lack of restrain is obvious as soon as you lost one game you bet all your capital in the next game, you will never make it far in any activity that requires money with that kind of attitude, and second your money management skills are terrible even if you have a way to earn money on those games your bets need to be smaller so you can keep most of your capital when you hit a losing streak.

This is why you need to calm down after you lose in gambling ,
Some of us are eager to claim back what they lost and this is what most of the time happens.
Remember to limit your bets and once you already won make sure to withdraw some so even if you lose you already have some save profit.

Go on and drink too much. Get a hangover later on until you realized that still, your problem hasn't gone. Still feel so bad? Drink again.

There is no need to learn how to control gambling. For what? You messed up already. Move on, start a new life and forget gambling.

Want to check where you went wrong.

Thats easy - after second winning bet. When green got over rational thinking Smiley

He managed to win 6 times consecutively and turned BTC0.15 to BTC0.4.

Kind of unusual to me that he didn't manage properly his bankroll from BTC0.4 down to 0.

Want to see if he is stating facts here or not. Smiley

Accept the fact that gambling either loses or win. You aren't always in a win-win situation. Tell us where you are probably got a mistake and we can properly give you a piece of advice. Just move on and learned about this mistake. Drinking alcohol won't help you it might add another cost of you. Make an analysis where you had been mistaken and correct it for the next bet. If you are experienced losses you are a certified gambler. Cheesy

Well, because you're chasing and hoping more profit to gain in gambling. Be contented if what you won and don't overstay in gambling it might give you massive loses. Probably you don't have self-control which is very needed in gambling as gamblers. Don't give, a learned these mistakes you had now and try to have self-control. Remember always to have a fund that you can only afford. Indeed, liquor will not give your problem solved.

Just on drinking you aren't gonna get anything out of it. What's been lost is lost, on drinking your mind might feel peaceful for a short. You need to understand, drinking by this situation will let you make wrong decisions of borrowing and spending on gambling to get back what you've lost. Just be cool, and take a break concentrating on other activities. When you feel relaxed come play with very small funds.

betted all remaining to recover loss

Never yolo a bet unless you can afford to lose it all. The only times I'll ever bet everything is when I have like $50 that was planning to gamble away.

Even better would be to quit while ahead but that's impossible for most people including myself.

Show your all bet slip here (the journey from BTC0.4 to BTC0). A screenshot will do.

Want to check where you went wrong.

Let's see what we can do aside from giving you the common and usual advice about "discipline" and "self-control".

What to do to control gambling?
I think you are too competitive and too temperamental to be in gambling. If you feel like you want to quickly recover losses, take a step back or take a break.

Its kinda common in gambling and most probably you lost all your bet due to aggressive intention of covering your loss. Its the thing which pushed you to take risks again and again until you lose all your fund there. Its a matter of controlling your emotions and its really important for gambling and also for trading too. You should take little extra time after losing first bet and that could relax your mind before placing another one.

Personally i am not gonna give you condolence for your loss and its because you are a gambler. Gambler should have the strong mentality to accept their losses. Hopefully you are kinda like that. Maybe it can work as a lesson for your future betting which will definitely demotivate you from aggressive betting.

This might be hard to do, but the first thing you should do is just to let your emotions out for the moment. You're not going to get past this otherwise, and that money's not going to easily come back. Next thing you should do is block gambling sites on your computer and/or just don't visit any gambling sites or physical casinos for the next few weeks or months 'till you get over it. Gambling should only be treated as entertainment, and due to house edge, it's really not a good way to make money either. Start saving up your funds and get your expenses in order. You'll get past it eventually.
