It isn't a gambling game, there also is no house edge because there is no versus house gameplay, and there are no wagers with real money or any cryptocurrencies or real value assets either, it's just an online game like any other online game project, we also haven't implemented bitcoin itself into our game, this mainly due to security reasons, instead we implemented a game currency which we called Satoshi's ourselves, which we can and we decided that our Satoshi's have the same bitcoin ratio calculations as actual Satoshi's as you are familair with and which are linked to Bitcoin, altho satoshi's are just bitcoin ofcourse but you get the point.
For example when someone deposits 0.005 BTC he will receive 500,000 in-game Satoshi's (or gold, whatever we will call them upon open beta release) those 500,000 ingame satoshi's or gold are also equivalent to 500,000 Satoshis (the bitcoin unit).
The main and only difference between our game currency and those from most but not all online games is that we allow the player to sell their game currency to us in exchange for Bitcoin.
Laws are extremely different compared to gambling websites or projects in general, we've ofcourse properly investigated the legal side of this project.
Following your simplistic black/white thinking then even World of Warcraft should have a gambling license, players also PvP eachother in that game to earn game currencies and following that logic basicly every single online game should have a gamble license.
On a side note a gambling license is easy to get tho and if we ever turn this project into a more gamble like project then we'll definitely get one.
On a second side note, we haven't reached open beta yet, this website was just a place holder for closed beta and upon open beta release our long term website will also be uploaded with a policy, faq and the required legal information aswell.
On a third side note, there are no real wagers eithers, people don't wager a specific amount, risks are decided based on the battleground you enter and you either receive ingame satoshi's/gold upon killing someone or you lose ingame satoshi's/gold upon being killed, however the winner doesn't receive the ingame satoshi's/gold from the person he killed, he receives them from the game itself as a reward and loser loses them to the game itself they are essentially completely deleted not moved around although from players perspective it doesn't look like that ofcourse, this is basicly how any online game operates in the background, this wouldn't be possible with real cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin ofcourse.
We appreciate your concern tho and appreciate you bringing it up for us however we would have done so anyways sooner or later but definitely before open beta release.
