Aren't these coins still made?  They just don't come preloaded.  That's what I remember reading.

Casascius (Mike Cladwell) stopped production for a while now.

Usually what happens is when you buy a Casascius coin from Mike, you send him the BTC for the cost of the coin + BTC value of the coin, as denominated by different version of the coin you're getting. He ships you the coins unloaded, you confirm receipt of coins and he then funds them (with the BTC you originally provided).

So yes, they sort of do come preloaded.

Sorry, read that too fast.

I would say the 0.5 2013 Brass should fetch around 0.75 at most, although it would be hard for me to pay that much.

I understand, since you will re-sell them Tongue.

Just out of interest. How much are you willing to pay for an untouched 2013 0.5 BTC coin?

pm me an offer maybe we can work something out

I am not looking to sell them at the moment. I was just curious what today's value per coin is. Sorry if I wasn't clear on my previous post Sad

You're still a buyer after 5.5 hours? Shocking!

How about now? Are you still a buyer?

Buying good pieces of history like this can't be rushed, be patient my friend and a seller will come along.
