I did call them not to long ago at request of another member....
And I was told that they do grade other magazine other than SI and Playboy. Cheesy
Just need to make sure to note the form accordingly.
Worth a punt to maybe send in a higher numbered issue to see how it does first before sending in the whole load.
I would send in if I still had my issues, but those were sold looooong ago Sad

....just my 2 satoshi   woot woot

Unfortunately I don't have any other magazines other than my #1 issue... maybe someone else can give it a go and report back here with some pictures?  Seems like it is quite a long process though... Undecided

It is a long process, the last three comics I had graded took about five weeks total.  Some times they can have a deal too like 3 for $99  etc

here is a magazine CGC graded that Ive had my eye on a while but I would not pay that ask.

The Stone the masons rejected was the cornerstone.
Nice, I haven't seen a number one in a long time though, seems like a year or two. I do buy and sell comic books now and then and I have noticed some magazines starting to become collectible the last ten years. Mostly stuff from the 60's or 70's that might have someone like William Shatner on it or another big TV star.

Even TV guides are going for around $20 now with someone notable on the cover.  Use to get them for .50 to $1.00 all day long. These btc magazines have become very collectible early in life, good sign Smiley

I’m curious to know which has more collectible value, the mint uncirculated/reprint issue (as sold at the link above) or a mint first print issue that was actually shipped in the mail to a real address. (As long as both are still in the original, sealed plastic sleeve.)Since neither is specially marked as first print or reprint, the only difference would be an actual shipping address stickered  onto the sleeve. (Or was it stickered onto the issue under the sleeve? I forget.)

Regards,
Chris

first issue ( original) always sells for more.  CGC graded or the like also command much higher prices as they eliminate all the unknowns such as re-print, missing pages/marks and of course certified grade.  good examples are 1 issue of Fantastic Four, Spider man and Superman ( Action comics) all in re prints as so few originals survived. Having an address label can be a plus it would depend on the collector. I prefer a label myself,  Confederate stamp collectors prefer used confederate stamps as it gives them more appeal being used during the war.

I just looked up CGC and it seems as if they only grade sports illustrated and playboy magazines exclusively unfortunately.

I was hoping to get mine graded... are there any other reputable places?

Let me know if you do find a good place..would love to have my #1 graded as well

They will definitely accept 0.22 BTC from you.
However I doubt you will ever see your magazines if you order from that company Cheesy

For those who are actually interested in purchasing this set, I have fixed price in BTC (0.25).
If your economy is based on dollar - now could be a good time to buy this set due to the low BTC rate.
Keep in mind; shipping is included in the price.

If you have not traded with me before and have concern about my ability to deliver - please inspect my trade record (trust) - and escrow is always welcome.
Thank you.

I'd have to agree- wrote up a post about that company here- https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.29349777

These come in sealed plastic correct? So you can't even enjoy reading them without hurting the value if collectors expect a sealed set.

Being that, they do offer digital versions of every copy here:

Enjoy Cheesy

Outstanding thanks!

If you are open to offers, I would bid 0.16 BTC

Smiley

Where are these located by the way?

Thank you for your bid, I have noted it down.
They are located in Denmark.

Yes, they are all in sealed plastic bags and in mint condition.
This is definitely a collectors item.

Just looking for peace
There was a time where the collectible community had a sweet spot for gambling  Cheesy ......
Would anybody be interested in a raffle?
E.g. a standard raffle, 16 tickets, and each ticket could be 0.025 BTC.
Shipping included of cause (they are rather heavy).

0.025 is a pricy ticket in todays money, I would also like to know what ticket price that would make you buy a ticket.

....

Also let me know if raffles are outdated and should be left alone back in 2017  Cheesy
0.025 per ticket would mean 0.4 btc
which is kind of high imho

maybe something like 0.018 or something ?

Nice set. Are you selling them as a complete set or will you take offers for individual ones?

It would be a shame to split them up. So they will be sold as a set.

Fair enough...nice to own as a set. Goodluck! Cheesy

These are still technically for sale from the Bitcoin Magazine store.  Currently retails for $4,449.

https://store.btcmedia.org/collections/bundles-1/products/complete-collection-all-22-bitcoin-magazine-issue

These sets were in demand last year (or perhaps a little longer), getting 1 BTC or more.

But not so much with the price rise.  My guess is something between $2-4k for a second hand set like this is appropriate.

Thank you so much for that link. It pretty much define the market value.
There is a good chance that I will accept an offer in that range, 2-4K usd.
